A Better Mood From Kelsey
Feeling good about myself when placing Kelsey’s bag at her desk, I felt all the more elated when I walked to the printer and overheard Kelsey noting to Shayma how I had helped her carry the bag to work. From that one act of kindness I felt an immediate change to what I thought was an unfavorable mood towards me from Kelsey. I believe that Zenia had said something to Kelsey a while ago to have them both in a way, snob me off.
However, with this kind act, not only did Kelsey change her tune but Zenia seemed more pleasant towards me, smiling and saying a shy hello instead of snobbing me off and running away from any situation where I would cross her path. Heading down to that area again after grabbing the mail from downstairs, I took the liberty of acquiring the sick-day slips so I could explain my absence.
Not too long after, I filled out the little form, had David sign it and then making a photocopy, I gave them both to Jana. Just a quick note that has a link to a later event of the day. David asked out of curiosity what I had done on Sunday to which I noted my date with skirmish and chatted about it for a minute.
A Pile Of Briefs
The morning from the commencing minutes looked to be burdened with responsibility and overwhelming work. As usually happens, when you take a day off, you don’t only have to contest with the work of that particular day but what you missed out on prior. Not only did I fall behind on my briefs but I had Shayma come to my desk twice through the day with some requests to create some extra updates. On top of that, we still had four extra briefs to complete for Kelsey and with all this on my mind upon the commencement of the day, I knew that it would only get intensified.
However, I did gain a touch of comfort from the fact that my work relationship with Najla after reaching close to destructive was on the slow up-rise. Our relationship had stabled upon Monday where I found it comforting when we talked pleasantly through the incoming mail. In slight digressive pause, when passing Esme on Tuesday morning I couldn’t seem to hold a very good conversation with her. Passing her to get to the printer, I said my hello and knowing that she was leaving on Friday I decided to stop when she shed some words on the subject.
At times it’s difficult to know exactly what she’s saying because of her accent and that didn’t help our conversation that really wasn’t going anywhere. All I could do was hum after each of her sentences like I was looking at a delicious cake afar from my reach, devising a plan as I scratch my head. Yep, it certainly seemed odd for a little while but I was relieved to end the worn conversation.
Skirmish Bruises And Linh’s Bike
Skirmish being new in the air, I chatted to a couple of people about my encounter on Tuesday, spreading it out evenly as news through my continuant week. In the early morning after the mail was complete, I headed over to Livia so I could shed my query upon her and as I waited around, I started chatting with her.
Skirmish came into the picture which was the larger part of our conversation, explaining how my legs were absolutely aching, moreso when I walk up stairs or stand up from a seat. Pointing out all the bruises I’d attained as well as my jumping into bunkers and over tire walls, we sat there in conversation for around five minutes before I headed back to work.
A touch later in the day I also bumped into Calla who was in the kitchen. Our relationship has grown tremendously, from what was season of timidity to the spawn of blossoming. While in the kitchen we said hello to each other and then began talking about her farewell party on Friday and her heading out to the Pontoon Bar on Saturday night. There was no intimidation despite there being someone else in the kitchen as I said a loud hello and continued conversation for a couple of minutes onwards.
Other people that I ended up seeing through the day were a dozen a pick. Around half an hour before lunch, Linh came around to my section and sat himself down to have a chat. With Najla sitting in her little section, he told me how he finally bought his motorbike, a Ninja ZR 250cc or something like that. Being black and red in color, he sounded elated when explaining that it revved out to eighteen thousand revs per minute to which I was also surprised.
Saving himself $500, he thought to buy a helmet and leather outfit to wear with the motorbike. Apart from that, he asked if I was heading out to lunch at midday and speaking to Najla who was on the other desk she seemed alright with that. Some time after lunch while I was doing some filing in the hallway I noticed Kit walking down the hall. Kit is Matthias’s brother and as he was wearing the same color electric blue shirt as me he commented on the way past saying “Nice shirt”.
Smiling as he walked past, I fumbled in my quickness to respond to which I blurted out “You too”. Blue seems to be going around the workplace to which two years ago when I bought my electric blue shirt you didn’t see much people wearing it but now, every second man and his dog at work seem to have a deep blue shirt.
Lunch In The Food Court
Speaking now of my episode at lunch, meeting up with Thao and Linh downstairs, we waited around for Rhett but with him not turning up within five minutes it was time to leave. Heading to our usual food court in HMV I branched off to buy myself some chicken and pasta and as we headed up into the smoking section we decided to sit in a booth. Initially, I sat up there by myself on a normal round table because there was a girl I thought was heaps pretty sitting in one of the booths next to me.
Possibly being the same Lebanese girl I have seen in this food court section before, when we started eating Linh whispered his motive for sitting in the booth. Being the next booth across from the Leb girl and her friend, Linh noted that he thought she was hot and that she had a slight resemblance to Buffy the Vampire Slayer on television. To my recollection, I recall her being the hot Lebanese girl with the long fingers, the day possibly being Thursday last.
Glancing back at her beautifully long light brown hair, I thought she was one of the hottest things I have seen. During conversation where Thao started talking about some crazy guy he knew, I brought up the gossip about Naqi being crazy and going to the loony bin. I’ve talked of Naqi before and how he’d lost his car doing hellies so they had some experience with such stories. Explaining how one day I saw a crazy girl on the way to work in Ashfield, Thao gasped “God, you know a lot of crazy people man”.
The pasta and chicken I was eating filled me up despite it not being hot food or very meaty. Not too satisfied afterwards, I felt bloated and like I had to walk slowly. Upon finishing our meals we took one last look at the Lebanese girl (Or at least I did) and bloated as I was, we took our time. On the way back, Linh told me how he wanted to start training at the Gym in the basement at work but he didn’t want to train alone.
“I need a training partner” he hinted as I then explained that I would train with him as long as we headed to the Gym supplied at the other HIH building on Bridge Street. However, this will probably never become a reality so if I want to pick up my fitness training in time for Summer, I’d better start now. However, when it comes to training and getting big, it doesn’t take me too long to get back into shape.
I’m resilient to being chubby to which I think I’m there now but with a few swift changes to my eating habits and some hours in the Gym will allow me to get back to my former glory. A couple of months ago my stomach was at an all time skinniness but I feel that it’s risen over the past month with my inability to work out effectively. However, with my having had a workout on Saturday morning, I do feel that I’m starting to get back into it.
Cab Charges And Late Mail
Back at work for the rest of the afternoon a couple of comedies took place. Foremost, when Jana came over to our section and with my being unpredictable in my attitude I unleashed what she thought was ill humor. Looking for a file with the last name of ‘Larsen’ I uttered “Grand Larson” which to my knowledge means a large theft. Not really a joke but just a conjunction of witty words, Jana looked at me oddly again saying “Seriously, Tony, where do some of these things you say come from”.
Apart from that little ambition of oddity through the day, I was sent to a barrister near the compensation court on Goulburn Street by Jana while the mail was being done. Anneliese was also heading to the same area as the both of us caught a cab charge together. Speaking about the warm weather and how she was heading on her second honeymoon with her husband, we arrived to the front of the compensation court and saying goodbye I headed up Elizabeth Street slightly, done my delivery and was back on my way to work. when outgoing mail arrived there was a plenteous amount to achieve and arriving back at 3:20 p.m., I was way out of time.
Heading downstairs to grab some envelopes as we had run out, I was running late and was pleased to find that Najla helped me out upon my request. The mail was achieved by 4:15 p.m. to which we dumped most of it upstairs in the trays, deciding not to hear their shit downstairs. With only half an hour of the day left, I tried to coax Najla into helping me with closed files but I think she sat around as I completed some filing.
On the point of filing, through Najla’s neglect Joselyn’s filing had really crept up over the last week. It came to the point where it was just looking ridiculous but luckily on Friday night she’d done something to regulate that problem.
Sketchers On The Train
Finishing work, I headed to the train station with Najla, looking around to see if the girl with the red polo neck sweater was anywhere around to once again admire her from afar. Seeing no sign of her, I jumped on my next available train and heading upstairs, with no real seats available and a girl sitting on the first seats facing each other, I decided to take a seat right next to her.
Looking at me as if to say she looked a touch interested in me, I thought it a boon to sit next to her and seeing that she was wearing the same ‘Sketchers’ shoes that I have at home, I didn’t hesitate to comment. “I know a friend that’s got those same shoes”. Acknowledging my words I then noted that my friend had bought them from Cobra and as she mentioned that’s the same price she bought them for we both mentioned the same price of $50 in unison.
“You must have gone to the same sale then” I noted to which our basis of conversation was started. However, as I am always cautious and testing, I decided not to shed too much words, feeling that if she wanted to hold conversation she would be the next to speak out. However, for the rest of the trip home there was nothing but fidgeting from her, knowing that she was just waiting for me to say something where all she could do was try and grab my attention in the hopes I would be the next to speak.
The first glance is never a great one to distinguish how attractive a girl is and as I sat next to her, I didn’t really have too much of a clue how beautiful she was but I knew that she was good looking. Having long blonde hair was enough for me with a bland face and a dot of blended freckles smoothed over. However, I guess it wasn’t until she took off her woolen trench-coat that I finally realized her potential.
Wearing a light burgundy-blue shirt underneath that breathed the word ‘Hound Dog’ I noticed the perfect shape of her breasts under that bra of hers when she stretched her arms back in the hampered position she was in when taking off her coat. With her boobs sticking out in perfect harmony, she had a perfect handful and a quarter. With a couple of sly glances towards her direction, I also noticed that sexy show of skin between the shirt and pants, just a touch around her waistline.
She Never Says A Word
Figuring that she had taken off her coat so she could more or less show herself off to me, I had the same vibe and decided to take off my jacket figuring the electric blue top I was wearing would have more of a desired effect. Nevertheless, even though she kept glancing over in secluded interest on occasion, she never made that much needed effort to continue conversation. Wearing some micro-fiber black pants, she put her feet up on the seat across from us when that person jumped off the train.
I had seen this as an obvious bid to show off her shoes to me again in hopes that I would continue conversation about them but I didn’t know what else to bring up. What surprised me a touch more however is how her tanned legs had no socks on to which she was wearing these groovy sneakers to work. It looked a touch odd but fashionable at the same time.
It wasn’t until we reached Minto and her jumping off that I realized just how hot and suave she was. Fidgeting with her bag two stations before she jumped off was a common sign of apprehension, wanting to make it known that she was jumping off soon. Fidgeting for most of the train trip home, she tried to keep her mind off speaking to me by putting on her headphones.
At times, when she played around with her walkman and glanced at the orange spectacle it looked like she was flashing it in my face so that I would again start conversation. However, I had no such luck and as she was gearing to jump off the train, you could sense her wary mind running at a million miles. I figured that she was either thinking of saying goodbye to me or just running off without a glance back and I found her to do the latter.
Therefore, my conversation was cut short by my testing ways even though I really wasn’t trying such a thing. She had a model like look as she jumped off the train and although most of the songs she was playing were unfamiliar, the first song being ‘My Name Is’ by Eminem was a telltale sign that she had something in common with me, or maybe she was trying to put across a subliminal hint.
Cara At Campbelltown
When it was time for me to jump off at Campbelltown, I spotted Cara to which I sat down with he and began chatting. In short, we talked about her having visited Rogues with Rory for her birthday, how Rory was still working at Pizza Hut and how she treats him like a poor little puppy, continually being down on his luck. Jumping off the train, our conversation picked up to which we stood around chatting like old friends and as I pointed towards my bus which was waiting around for passengers, I said goodbye to her and made my journey up and home.
Not having slept on the train trip home, I didn’t feel too exhausted when jumping on the bus and upon arriving at home I started almost immediately upon my memoirs. That my friends is the chronology for Tuesday, just that one small step closer towards completion. However, you wouldn’t believe what time it is now, certainly later than my next entry, confused, read on.
