Beeping at Girls in Appin
Another week without the assisted highs of a club, finding other ways to occupy ourselves during the days and nights of the weekend. Right now I have a slight headache from skirmish and some red round marks on the right side of my back and shoulder which constitutes the new. Something of the old and suave things done this weekend was to head to the movies on Friday night and as usual, people came over on Saturday, one that I didn’t care to see.
As noted to Shawn today, I don’t care our hanging low from clubs but I would love to see the summer loving to come back out. Today, when we were heading back from skirmish in Shawn’s Ute, the sun was beautifully warm. Passing three girls who were walking in the Appin area, Jett leant over to beep the horn and as we looked back at three attractive girls who were young but still had large boobs for their age, a smile graced my face for knowledge of the good old times.
None of our group have ever really cruised around, looking for chicks to beep at and have conversation with. I remember ages that’s how I met a couple of girls, back when Rory was driving his deliveries. Man, if I had a car there would be no curb as to how much skirts I would pull over for when I beeped and received a wave. On our way home, the girls did wave at us after beeping and as we kept driving, I slapped myself in the head for a missed opportunity, at least for conversation anyway.
Like minded smiles are for like minded people and knowing we didn’t really have anywhere in particular to drive, I knew it would have added much more life to our day if we had stopped for the girls. So there you have it, a good weekend but an optimism for our heading out on a circuit or two of Campbelltown in search of pretty girls walking up and down Macarthur Square, at the station or just around.
This bids me again to say that I can’t wait to buy myself a car. Cruising around with only one like-minded person in my car, eating at Macdonald’s cruising to chick hot spots and window shopping when best we do park the car. Our future outings will have meaning, the main purpose, to have fun, secondary, to meet people, dominantly of the woman’s breed.
Memoirs or Work
As expected, my lingering and overuse of the Playstation which aggravates me by still being here, I have strayed from the importance of these pages. After these couple of hours I will slog out for the sake of memoirs and sanity, I will be four or five days behind that will seem derived in fulfillment. That is why I feel the need to stick to my assumption of Monday. Finalization has not been realized as I’m on the border of heading to work or staying home with the excuse that I’m all bruised up and too tired for work.
Part of the main reason I want to stay home is extensively clean up the notes of this diary so that we are up to date for the new month arriving. However, if I fall through to the morning phone call noting my excuse, I’ll have to subject myself to the vexatious alarm and bear with the brunt of the work day. Decisions, decisions, decisions, what is more an important obligation, memoirs or work…
The Gray Day
Skipping upon a rope to the telltale story of Tuesday, I shall begin by noting that from Monday, it was National Kindness Week. Tuesday was a much deprived day, of zealous taste left bitter from distaste. Uncharacteristic moods plagued my mind, stamping out mirth, such unforeseen defeat. The day was littered with many a story but in my heart, each embracéd account created anger and in my mind, foresaw anger only to hesitation. I hesitated from choleric tendencies but anything through the day would bring out the four corners of my emotions.
Either Najla would piss me off more often with her lack of filing, I’d see someone on the street that would make me think of Jewell or I’d head out with Linh to lunch where I would be fine but in a mental drone, allowing half as much to enter my opinionated mind. Therefore, if my day was less, then, shall we call this a day of leisure, a holiday if you must. Each day within these pages always has an enthused spirit, no matter if I be writing for morose emotions or for elation’s bliss.
Since Tuesday was the second day to my memory where I had felt either bored or in an uncharacteristic mind set of lowered morale, I tend it to name it the gray day of my black and white world. Therefore, all gray day’s constitute of a public holiday when these pages finally get published and I get famous. A touch of sarcasm can go a long way, especially if I do become famous enough to have a day of leisure created in my memory.
Tuesday Starts Slowly
Jumping ahead to the story of my Tuesday, in the morning I woke up a touch late but regardless, I caught the usual bus and train to work. Looking for Lyssa to pop on in confidence but caring not, I ended up sleeping for the whole train trip to the City. Once I knew Lyssa wasn’t sitting next to me, I rested my head on the wall and closed my eyes so I could create a couple more sleeps to what turned out to be six hours.
After grabbing the mail from downstairs, the energy or desire just wasn’t in me for the day. Not feeling drained of sleep as I slept on the train, it was a far different problem of internal conscience. What aggravated me in the early morning mail was the contradictory views we had upon the universal measurements of liters and kilograms. Not sure on how this subject came to be, I think I checked out Najla’s bottle of water, made a comment on it and then asked “How much do you reckon one liter of that water would equal in kilograms”.
Liter Versus Kilogram
Stumbling upon thought for a couple of seconds she replied “Well, it will weigh one kilogram of course” and widening my eyes as I looked forward cynically asking “Are you sure” she had to think again and then nodded. This is how our debate began on a kilogram and one liter with different substances never being able to reach the same weight. For example, my argument was that one liter of water would not weigh the same as one liter of feathers or sand.
However, sticking to objects comprised of fluid, even water and oil (Which was our primary argument) to my belief and to Najla’s defiance would not measure out the same in kilograms if they were both poured into a one liter bottle. Najla seemed to believe that no matter what material, one liter of something will always equal to one kilogram, swearing by the table of measurements in her sisters school book. Najla seemed to keep yapping “I’ll bring my sister’s books in” but all I could reply to that was, “No, we don’t need no stupid books, we need a practical lesson”.
I am firm to believe that no two substances of differing atomic value could possibly equal each other in value when placed in equal proportion within a one liter canister. There might have only been a couple of schooling years behind me where I didn’t even learn much but I am firm to be affixed in my belief that a kilogram doesn’t always equal a liter. In conclusion, a liter is an affixed value of volume where a kilogram always comes in greater velocity or smaller depending on their atomic value.
Far from this annoying conversation that we were so bluntly bent upon to be right, we ended up keeping out of each other’s hair because we were annoying each other. Our arguments to whom was right was probably heard by a couple of people in the legal department, that would explain why Thalia came over as well as Anneliese. However, Anneliese had a reason to be there apart from filing and as she greeted us with “Hi kids” she notified me of a package that had to be delivered.
A Blonde Law Clerk
Delivering a brief to one of the chambers on that Martin Place strip, I grabbed the package and complacently walked out that front door soon after. There was only one special moment to note about my heading to Martin Place and up a couple of levels on a building to deliver my document. Heading out to the front steps of the building, from inside the glass door that opened upon its sensing our movement, I noticed a shaded blonde figure in a touch of trouble.
Pushing a small cart filled with a couple of law books, I figured her to be a law clerk, a beautiful law clerk at that. Being blonde, having frizzled curly hair and a clear face, she made me melt to her Australian eyes and dazzling smile. Pushing the cart down stair by stair as the glass doors slid open automatically, I hesitated for a second in my stroll, wondering whether I should help her out or not.
In one hand, she would think I was helping her out obviously because I liked her but on the other hand, it was National Kindness Week and my grabbing the other side of her trolley to help it down the stairs would have been seen favorably. Nevertheless, my stupid self let that opportunity slip away, a possible conversation and a promise of more if that never fell through. National Kindness Week would have been the best ploy to use so that she would think I stopped purposefully because I thought she was the right thing for me. Anxiety led me to hesitate and I was kicking myself when heading up that elevator.
This lack of courage along with my tussle with Najla about science was the beginning reality of an absent-minded day. When heading back to work it didn’t really get too much worse but I just didn’t have the enthusiasm to work to my best intent. Instead, I chucked on the email for the first time since I was told how to finally use it. Sitting there for what seemed to be the next hour as I tried wiping everything off after reading, I realized those tickets that Joselyn had for Romeo and Juliet were arranged by the Social Club.

Diary Of A Mad Chaos is a daily diary written from March 1996 until today, of which individual books and book series have been created, namely “The Lost Years” an exploration of young, entwined love, the “Wubao In China (猎艳奇缘)” book series which provides an extensive comparative analysis of the cultural differences between Eastern and Western societies, and the book titled “Foreigner (华人)” an exploration of race relations in Australia.
