Catching Up At Last

Tranquility is set the day is calm outside and I wake here this morning for only one reason, chronology. This is possibly the last chance I have to fully catch up on such lagging literature as I am hopeful to be getting picked up later today so we can head out to Kangaroo Valley. Yesterday was a great chance to catch up on past events of Thursday and I believe that it was somewhat rushed and ravaged of certain depiction because I was getting tired. Nevertheless, I left Friday’s adventures until I had a sane mind and on this twenty sixth day, I shall catch up with my month.

Friday morning I woke up with a slight incline to rest for a couple of minutes. As I lay there in bed I turned on the air conditioner so I could get accustomed to my surroundings then I jumped out of bed and straight into the shower. This sublime feeling did relax me and as I jumped out I headed upstairs for something to eat. My facial hair was starting to sprout after one week of not having shaved but I left it as was when heading to work.

A Lion Of A Tie

Besides, my facial hair was also non existent and just to think, I tried growing a moustache for two months to no avail. Clothing myself with my new pants, new tie that I had bought on Thursday shopping (Forgot to note about it) and my other blue shirt, I was ready for work. In regards to that tie I bought, I headed to that shop where I bought my light blue shirt in search of a tie.

Finding two ties that I adored I kept alternating them and putting them against my shirt, finding it hard to pick one to buy. It took me at least half an hour to finally decide which tie to buy and I didn’t end up using it with my baby blue shirt but with that darker blue work shirt that I have. The tie is horizontal lines, part black part yellow and it makes me feel like a lion, great tie.

Quiet Friday Workload

Catching my bus to the station and then a train to the City I arrived at work with five minutes to spare. Grabbing the mail from downstairs I said hello to Aleka again and was then on my way up. Heading upstairs I was the first to be there and when Najla arrived we were both wondering how to sort the workload for the day. Jana wasn’t in again which meant no picky comments or requests. Feeling that it was my turn to sort the incoming mail I grabbed everything (Except for the faxes as I forgot that) and began.

Najla was waiting upon four briefs to come back from diskovery but she decided to get some filing down. The whole day was basically Najla and I as Thalia kept to her desk, Esme kept quiet as usual and everyone else was just enjoying the fact that it was Friday. The only request was for me to get some of those files that Kelsey wanted me to get done but this time around he was being more realistic. We haggled over how much I should get photocopied and by the end of the day the number was six files in which I ended up completing three because of my workload.

Office Fashion Trends

While heading toward the printer and at the printer a host of different things happened. First, let me just note that see through blouses for women are the fad at work. So far I’ve seen at least five women from work showing off their bras under the semi-transparent material of their shirts. Mostly noted is Delphi who wore one on Wednesday and Tatiana who decided to wear a see through shirt on Friday.

As I walked past Tatiana we both smiled at each other as I said hello and out of the corner of my eye I could see what she probably wanted to be eye catching. Women only wear see through material because they want the opposite gender to be attracted and I did find it attractive but I also wondered how attractive. Tatiana was wearing demi cups which basically means that if you pull down her bra a fraction you’ll be able to notice her nipples.

Her tits were out there for all to see as well as her bra but I didn’t pay too much attention to that area despite it being flaunted. Am I wrong to think that after our conversation Tatiana decided to wear something more inviting and provocative as to say “Hey, look at me”. Even though she is a couple of years older I still believe she’s playing little office games…

Photocopier Chats

While at the photocopier I had a chat with Jonas the tall guy in which the subject of Gridiron was mentioned again. Jonas told me that there was a guy working for us that plays Gridiron and intrigued as to his living in Ingleburn I asked Jonas to ask what team. Later on in the day we met again in which he told me that this guy played for Sutherland now, the obvious choice for everyone from Macarthur’s team to head for.

Linh also came up to me while I was photocopying and as he did my first words were “We’ll have lunch today”. Linh’s more dominant saying revolves around the phrases “For sure” and “sure” as the latter has more skeptical notoriety about its tone. Besides that, Linh agreed whole-heartedly to have lunch and as we tried to work out the plans we came to a conclusion that we would meet each other in the hallway at the elevators.

Heading back to our desk I asked her if she had any problems about my heading out at 1:00 p.m. but it seemed to be all smiles. Najla was the first to head out for lunch and as she did I got to completing one of her briefs that came back from photocopying. I’m not sure what Najla got up to but I assume she had lunch with her boyfriend.

Heading Out With Linh

When it came time for me to head out at 1:00 p.m. I prepared myself and then headed out for the hallway. Linh came past a few minutes before as we reassured each other that the plans were still on. When out in the hallway David was also there standing and waiting for a lift and when the both of us didn’t jump on the next available lift down he asked who I was waiting for. David and I had a little chat as he asked me how I was going along at work.

David was also waiting around for someone to have lunch with, such a quirky man, one that I can associate with when it comes to licking up the spilt red cordial on occasion. After a couple of minutes Linh finally came out and told me that he walked over to my area to see if I was ready. Just as we were about to jump on the elevator one of Linh’s friends walked past and he invited him to have lunch but he preferred a lone one for the day.

Linh wasn’t too phased on where we went or what we ate. Basically, it was my call as he was being the guest to my selection so knowing that I would be heading for the Sushi bar I tempted him to also buy some sushi. As I bought myself Teriyaki again (I’m starting to like the full taste of it) he bought a small package of diced up sushi rolls and then we were off to find a destination.

Food Court Talk

Walking to Hyde Park seemed to be too long a trek for the both of us so as we walked past Pitt Street Linh decided to point us in the direction of Mid City Arcade. Walking into HMV following Linh he seemed to be confused with where he was headed but as we arrived to the food court we tried to find ourselves a seat and then sat down. As we had our lunch we also chatted on various topics and the volume was never silent.

Linh told me how he headed out to the ‘Booty Bar’ on the weekends in which they have live rappers and a DJ who plays R & B. I told him of my background and preferences to music in which we found something in common. When lunch was finished we jumped up and headed back to work with fifteen minutes to spare. On the way I showed Linh the French Connection shop in which he found it intriguing to his taste and made a debut.

After sifting through some of the clothes we headed back to work and I headed upstairs as he bought something from the corner shop. “We’ll do this again sometime” we both uttered as I headed up back to work.
