Ants, Gym Pumps and a Last Corner Race (Part 2) – Mad Chaos: October 7, 1998

That was my workout and I just have to add that while I was there I noticed Tarina or Lyssa, I can’t remember her name. Tarina used to go to Airds High School with me, she was one of the more popular girls. For that reason I didn’t get to talk much with her but seeing her at the Gym on the bikes and looking at her physique I knew she had the look and the body. Remembering her back in school she was always pretty and always had a physique but getting to see it today was a bonus. Tarina (Or it might be Lyssa), better known for her nickname as ‘Test Tube’ noticed me at the Gym but looked away as to be embarrassed. I usually get that and instead of going out of my way to say hello I, like her, kept to myself. When I was leaving the Gym I noticed her upstairs on the bikes but talked with Maddox. Being heaps tired and feeling my energy was exerted completely I didn’t talk much sense but we spoke about Jett and how he is now going out with Min-Su.

Upon finishing my workout I made my way back home and with a meal waiting for me in my quarters I devoured every single particle of food. Like the old days of bodybuilding, it’s good to get as much carbohydrates in your body as possible straight after a workout and eating Pasta with Cheese that wasn’t too hard. Straight after that I had some fish to eat for protein and something else with protein that I can’t recall. Still on the topic of bodybuilding I found out that Redd was doing some security work or being a bouncer at some venue. Now he’s big enough, he can get the job done. I’m not sure if I mentioned that yesterday but here I am now.

After my immediate meal following Gym I had a shower to relax my muscles and from there I turned on the computer. Time passed and I got a bit bored but Shawn gave me a call around 6:30 p.m. and told me that he spoke to Keith and they both wanted to visit the movies for the night. So I told him to give me a ring when everything was going down. An hour into the night I watched television, dabbled with my computer and then I was called by Keith while writing in my Diary. You know what happened from there, I had to get ready quickly for the night out. This was the third night in a row we were headed to watch a movie, I wasn’t complaining. The only problem with the night was that Tamsen was going to accompany us. Keith is alright but every time I hear of Tamsen and I to be at the same place it spells trouble.

Tamsen was somewhat on a leash for the night but she was a bit out of line when we parked the car and she thought it was alright to muck around with me. Anyway, getting dressed nicely and not wearing a jumper despite it being windy I put my hair back, splashed on some perfume and headed for Tamsen’s car when they arrived. There were four of us in the car, Shawn and I in the back, Keith and Tamsen in the front. Tamsen was being stupid talking about how it was better for a woman to approach a male salesperson and vice versa for a man. Shawn and I were in the backseat with bewildered expressions on our faces. Like Tamsen was lost in the Amazon with her thought patterns and we, the conspirators in the back seat content with sarcasm and laughter at her ridiculed expense.

As mentioned before Tamsen tried to be pals with me but, as she came up to me and playfully barged me I couldn’t help but think she was either jealous that I looked good for the night or she had some sort of attraction for me which makes me nauseous at the thought. Trying to keep my distance from her praying bitchiness we walked into the movies and the thee of us males received a headache when we picked a movie but Tamsen didn’t want to watch it. Shawn and I made our way to ‘Fun n Games’ and giving me some money we played an Airplane game and then lending Keith and I some money we jumped onto ‘Daytona’.

Daytona was a cool game that I have played a couple of times, this time it was the three of us in competition. From the start I was placed in last place and for fifteen grueling laps I planned my corners perfectly and when to use the brakes to precision. Crashing once to Keith running me off the road I was behind by half a lap but quickly recovered. Back on their tales I worked my way through the traffic, slowly creeping back into the game. Finally I managed to get in front of the both of them and from there it was just a race against the time and the final lap. Once or twice the leadership was taken from me and on the last corner of the last lap was where the whole conspiracy took place. Keith was right on my ass and Shawn was just down the road when this happened. Keith thought that because it was the last corner before the checkered flag came on he would try and run me off the road. His plight worked and sending me straight up into the air and into multiple flips of the car I landed forward and headed for the flag. By a stroke of luck I landed just in front of Keith who had been dramatically slowed down by me and because of that I received a slight push by his car just enough to make it over the finish line. Shawn was a fair bit back and he came third, Keith was distraught at the outcome. What can I say, a winner takes all and plays bargains, makes things happen and plays with actions to win the game.

Once our eventful game was over we headed for the Cinema and deciding that we were going to watch ‘Snake Eyes’. Just before heading into the Cinema I noticed Nikita and one of her friends walk out of where we were just about to enter. Nikita noticed me right from the beginning when she walked out of the Cinema but being a snob she kept her eyes away from me and walked right past the four of us without saying anything. I was going to say something to Nikita and greet her but she didn’t even make eye contact with me and I didn’t want to be embarrassed by her ignorance. I know Nikita was ignoring me because she did see me. Maybe it was because I was with Tamsen that she thought it be best not to look at me. Does Nikita know who Tamsen is, was she with Lyssa when Lyssa made a fool of Tamsen one time. Whatever it was, Nikita was being rude and that just tells me that Lyssa’s friends are snobs towards me now.

I made my journey alone into the Cinema as there was no one standing out the front. Keith then followed a couple of seconds later and I found it wasteful that Shawn along with Tamsen bought tickets. Keith and Tamsen sat with each other and wanting his own leg space Shawn and I moved to the other side of the Cinema and sat to watch the movie. Once again we weren’t asked to leave and weren’t bothered for tickets, another free ride. The movie ‘Snake Eyes’ was a great movie considering none of us knew what it was about. Shawn thought it was on the likes of a ‘Quentin Tarantino’ movie or an attempt at his script writing and drama.

When the movie was over we made our way out and I have to note that the seats this time were different and more comfortable. The seats I was so uncomfortable on one or two nights ago were red and wooden. These seats had cushioning and were plastic or whatever you want to call the material. The night was at an end and as Tamsen drove me home first I made indefinite plans with Shawn for tomorrow. If Shawn doesn’t go to work I told him to give me a call and we might make our way to Miranda for a look around. This week hasn’t been boring and it certainly has brought along a calculated amount of movement towards the right direction. ‘The Days of Reckoning’ are certainly here and taking the day I had with Lyssa into consideration, that was fortunate that nothing happened between the both of us. Once again, that was certain calculation, certain Reckoning that brought over the right turn of events to move on. ‘Recognition’ is over, I know what plans I have, what I have to do and I will set forth to calculate those thoughts into reality. Wrong steps I will rule out, right moves I will felicitate. Keeping occupied has been the right move and it helped me keep my distance from Lyssa which in turn will help us separate and lead our own lives without this ball and chain around our necks. As long as Lyssa and I are in each other’s lives there is no real chance of moving on, one of us will eventually get hurt. So, better to forget and remember when all is forgotten than to remember now and forget how to move on and live for the future.

The time is now 12:30 a.m. and it is almost time to get to sleep. Hopefully tonight won’t be another one of those late nights and tomorrow will be an early awakening. As I have myself a couple of pieces of Cheese to feed my aching muscles needing protein I finish here my Diary entry, full of contradiction and criticism.
