Najla Dodges The Filing

Jumping off at Wynyard with the both of them still on the train, I arrived at work fifteen minutes late to which Najla already had started on the mail. Deciding to take the easier job in the mail for a change, we had that finished within half an hour to which I began upon my updates for the day. In regards to filing which also had an hour or two spent upon it for the day, Najla was deferring her task at hand.

Nevertheless, Najla’s procrastination had to end at some time to which she filed away some of Joselyn’s stuff for the last hour of the day. Still, Najla hasn’t touched David’s filing for over a week now, leaving the demanding task purely up to me. Stress was evident amongst my trying patience as Najla continually put off filing for the whole day, choosing to lounge around as she always does. Hoping that Najla would stick to a promise, we made an agreement that she would do an hour of filing when I left for lunch since I was on her back for the whole day.

Leaving for lunch I had a touch of faith in her but I knew when I came back to work all the files in the trolley’s would be stacked up just the same. Using an excuse upon her lapsed time, she informed me that we’d run out of plastic A4 transparencies for the front covers of the briefs so she was sent by Jana to get some. I wasn’t sure what pissed me off more, the fact that she waited until an unfavorable moment of the day to bi-pass grueling work or the fact that she traveled all the way to the DX shop instead of downstairs to the newsagent.

Najla wasn’t good for anything on Thursday as the transparencies she bought were costly and much thinner than the ones we usually use. In addition, I can’t trust Najla’s word just as I can’t trust Lyssa when it comes to money to which the both of them have much in common when it comes to irritating me..

A High With A Hollow Edge

The whole day seemed to allowed me to have a high all day, chatting with ease and no apprehension felt. Usually my days would start off lowly and build themselves up after the confidence and security gained after lunch. Having lunch after a humble morning is like drinking coffee in the mornings, it wakes your character up. However, this Thursday morning I didn’t need such a boost but despite this high, somehow amidst it all I felt drained with the ghost of uncertainty. Carting around like I had low blood sugar and just acting mostly like a zombie, I could say I was having a favorable day despite the unfavorable feeling gained from a reckless spirit for the day.

Cold Shoulders Downstairs

Speaking now of lunch, before heading out at midday I decided to give Linh a call on the phone to confirm our meeting downstairs. When the time was finally upon us, I made that agreement upon filing with Najla and headed downstairs to meet up with Linh, Thao and Rhett. Standing around a bunch of like-aged people including Matthias and Gawain, I felt that both of them were avoiding me. I got the distinct feeling of hostility from the both of them as they have done their best to avoid me.

This is no fanciful whim of my insecurities but a parcel of verity unfolding. It’s times like this when I wish I had ESPology technology or my little scheme of having people trying to figure me out with words but we are much too early for those inventions to these memoirs. What made me realize there was an obvious aversion was when Matthias shook everyone’s hand but mine. Nevertheless, I was off in a little corner but it doesn’t take much to an extend a hand to mine which was already out of its pocket.

A New Face In The Group

Making our little trek towards the food court in HMV, a new face came along with us, the guy who reminds me somewhat of Kaspar. Being new at work, he was introduced into the group by Rhett to which he fit in nicely, as reserved as myself towards my first group outing. “Where are you thinking of heading for lunch” I asked looking around the group.

Banking The Tax Cheque

Hoping that I would be able to sneak into the commonwealth bank just to my side, I mentioned that I would meet up with them after I finished business at the bank and went about my business. Bringing along my tax return cheque, I filled out a deposit form and after a minute in the line handed it over to the teller. “How long is the wait until the cheque is cleared”

I asked to which I was surprised it would only take three workings days, I thought it was five. Heading around to the side of the bank, I paused for another couple of minutes, waiting for the Eftpos machine to clear up in which I withdrew $230. Knowing that the whole amount would have just made me paranoid in its weighing down of my pocket, I figured I would leave the $400 in the bank to which would go towards contact lenses.

Fish And Hot Girls At Lunch

Heading now to the food court in HMV, I bought myself a smaller meal from the seafood shop as I had already wasted twenty minutes. Knowing that I always tend to finish my food last on the table, I figured that a fish and fish cake would suffice for my hunger, costing around the same money as my normal meal. Taking a seat in the smoking section, Linh noted that my food looked good to which after spreading some lemon he took a bite or two from my fresh fish.

Concentrating more upon finishing my food than conversation, I lifted my head every now and again to include myself in conversation but apart from that, my notion was upon the devouring of my food. In addition to my observant eyes, I noticed one of the hottest slender bodies walking into a booth in the smoking section. As Thao was speaking with me, he soon realized by my stunned-mullet expression behind his head that there was a glamour there, one to which he had to gaze at.

However, they don’t seem to show the same enthusiasm as myself when seeing the hottest chicks on this earth, tending to go for girls like Delphi as opposed to the blonde, skinny and gorgeous girls I ogle at. They all tend to have a different taste than myself and definitely don’t have my disease of enjoying the sight of women too much. Anyway, with our finishing lunch, they all had a smoke except for this new guy who like me didn’t light up and then we headed back to work rejuvenated.

Afternoon Briefs And Closed Files

The rest of my work day wasn’t laid back at all, still with that sense of exhaustion about it. Within the afternoon Shayma handed me two updates, piling them onto the already large list of briefs I’m behind on. The only consultation to my day was the fact that the outgoing mail was done in remarkable time to which I then had enough energy to complete two briefs and send them out for the day.

In the afternoon I also tried sorting out the closed files so that I could send them to Brambles but again, Najla chose to be lazy. “We’ll do some closed files in the last hour of today” I remarked adding “You have to know how to do them just incase I’m away one day and someone asks you to send them off”.

Najla irritated me when in jest she noted “I’ll just wait until you come back and I’ll give it to you”, showing how she is alike of Lyssa when it comes to using me for pedantic purposes. That is half the reason why I had to call up Brambles again and postpone my ordering them to pick up our closed files boxes which would free up plenty of space. The other reason was that the computers were heaps slow and bugging every now and again to which I had to input some information onto the computers.

Jana And The Magic Tool Box

Apart from these quandaries, I talked with Calla, Jonas, that chubby guy with the original electric blue shirt look, Kelsey and many others including Jana. My conversation with Jana has some allowance to speak of here. When calling Jana over asking her what we were going to do with all these spare chairs just sitting around blocking our path she looked at one of the old chairs and noted “Hey, this is a real good chair”.

Noting that she could have it if she could only unscrew the hands she looked at me in disbelief, dumbfounded as she remarked “Yeah right, I’ll just pop over there and open up my magic tool box”. Of course, Jana can’t be without her catch phrase to which she asked “Where do all these sayings of yours come from Tony”, thinking me to be some half-witted crazy.

Lyssa Brushes Me Off

Leaving the closed files and much other work for Friday, I left for my window shopping on Thursday night after work to which has already been explained. Onwards upon that Thursday night has been explained as I headed home and began upon my memoirs almost immediately, straying not from them. Despite this already complete knowledge up to the point of Thursday, I have a small point to make upon my calling Lyssa to which I believed it was Wednesday night.

That day I noticed Lyssa when stepping onto the train to head to Circular Quay, my curiosity bid me call her later that night. With Lyssa on another call, she answered me within a couple of rings and sounded rather arrogant when finding that it was me. Making me feel like I had intruded as well as being a bother, I uttered that I just quickly wanted to ask if she had been the person I’d seen at Wynyard to which she was.

Pushily advising me that she had to get back to her initial phone call, Lyssa sounded as if she was trying to brush me off, as if I was the scum of life compared to any of her other prominent friends. In and out of the conversation within a minute, Lyssa seemed brash in her haste to return to her phone call, probably trying to consolidate Penelope for her losses, either that or planning for her weekend.

Either way about it, Lyssa was rude and as she never called me back that night, I figured she was just too busy being a rude bitch to chat with me.

Behind On The Diary

The time has now reached 11:15 p.m. and with so much expectation riding upon this night to complete today’s chronology as well as Thursday’s, I guess I’ve failed to procrastination again. Tonight I rested a touch watching some of the Pan-am swimming finals as well as Dr Katz on SBS. From there I had something to eat which I then began some more upon these pages to which we have now arrived upon the current status of the night, late and deprived.

Therefore, I should only hope that tomorrow will create some incentive to create more pool of description but as I’ll be explaining my Friday night, I really don’t think those three to four hours will completely explain the all of Friday and its night. Therefore, further behind will I be on chronology but be assured, this weekend something will be done. The only plans are to head to Chevy’s on Friday night, from there, there are no plans as well as no money.

However, Saturday shall be dedicated to purchasing my contact lenses as well as buying my train ticket and spending my tax money on fixing my bike and bodybuilding products. Including my workout for Saturday, it shall be a largely eventful day and that night, open freely for my chronology, I hope. There is no doubt that these pages will once again see the light of day and I’m not sure that it will be before the end of this month but here’s hoping.
