A New Master Plan

My friends, due to surplus of loans going around and my menial day of forethought, I come to you with a new master plan. Adding even greater expectation on the bliss that will be my next three months, I have on this medium term plan added some extra ingredients. As you would all know now, there has been a spurt of people applying for loans spanning from $5,000 to $12,000, including Linh, Thao, Nero and Lyssa.

Including Imad’s application for a credit card, I figured that this was the time if any to invest some thought upon a personal loan. Two to three years ago I tried applying for a loan worth $3,000 but it was very hard to get one accepted. However, even though I know I probably could just get out a loan right now, I’m planning for the safe option. The agenda upon the budget so far is to begin saving for a laptop computer and from thence, saving $3,000 for a car will soon follow.

However, the small inclusion into my master plan comes with my saving up all that money and with it as a safeguard in my bank, taking out a $5,000 loan. If approved, I’ll buy myself a 79 Celica or an Alfa Romeo to the amount of the loan and splurge the saved $3,000 on a system for the car as well as tinted windows, lowering the car and extras as such.

However, for $5,000, I’ll probably get a Celica with the lot so I’ll consider chucking in a turbo or something to make the car eye catching. In regards to my license, I’m in the stages now of working out just when I’ll consider going for my L’s again and then my P’s one week later. Gathering that I’ll have to rent a car for the test, I’ll gain my license in automatic to make it easier and wait out those couple of months before I head onto my silvers.

Saving For The Summer

If at some stage I do get restless in the bid to saving up my money, I guess I’ll take out that loan earlier because you only get summer once a year and I don’t want to miss out. From my scratchy calculations, I figure that I’d have my Credit Card paid off before I buy my laptop computer so I’ll have that increased in limit. Therefore, I figure that I could save $400 a fortnight comfortably maxing out around $475.

Therefore, with the higher rate I’ll probably afford to take out a loan after three months from purchasing the laptop which will seem to be around November. If impatient and wanting to own a car before my 21st birthday then I’ll purchase in January and worry about the loan later. However, if I have patience then I’ll definitely wait out the most of summer and purchase around February some time. Let me just hope that I got some sort of a raise from work.

It turns out that I was back-paid to which I received more money anyway but my hourly rate has seemed to go up a fraction which if kept at that rate will see me getting an extra $20 a week. These are some exciting times ahead of us in the forthcoming year, where I will go back to old school ploys and create a suave and filtered frenzy to autonomy.

Wanting To Read Minds

Moving now onto a thought alike of freshly staled bread, this has been brooding for quite some time now, moreso in the earlier stages of last week and I think it’s time to unmask it upon these pages. As everyone knows, these memoirs aren’t just a one sided glance at my life but a pool of opinions and subjective thoughts. I seem to have everything in these pages save for one true thing I so desire.

Being the opinionated person I am and also a glutton for knowing what people are thinking about me, I am one to yearn for constant opinions. In this I mean that my memoirs don’t portray a girls opinion of me when we are sitting side by side on a train or when we shed a fancied eye towards each other. The only window into her mind is from my filtered surmise and the same applies for close friends and past relationships.

Although I know how Lyssa thinks along with other people who are close to me, I’m not actually in their mind to know exactly what they’re thinking. Only going off my assumptions or from conversations we undertake, there is no certainty to this one way road of thought and collaboration. The answer to this unidirectional event to my life is simple in practice but complex in practicality.

The only way to really know a person’s mind is to have them speak it. In a way, when people tell me their feelings, speak of their days and unleash their emotions, I’m carving up a piece of them and implanting it upon these pages. However, that really doesn’t give an insight into who they are, only a window to their lives through my hands. Therefore, the only practice in creating a piece of their character and the way they think is to have people from all aspects of my life exploit themselves to these pages.

People Writing About Me

In the future, I want to approach close friends, people at work and some who barely know me to sit down and try to write their thoughts about me, try to figure me out. I’ve been doing it for over three years amongst these pages, the least I could do for the public is give a realistic glance from many perspectives above my own of who I really am. For example, one day I will approach someone like Lyssa and ask her to write any thoughts about my personality, character, traits and basically who I am and how I treat and am treated.

One week should be a viable time to conjure thoughts that should come as frequently as I write upon these pages. Expecting around five to fifteen pages per person (Depending on who they are and how well they know me), I will then read through their opinions upon me and create my own perceptions with such a learning experience.

How important this information would be to the insight of my life and the overall flow of daily fortitude. How important is it also not just to get an opinion from someone whose known me for donkey’s years but also from a stranger just met on the street or someone who has known me a short while, people who are trying to look into my life, still trying to figure me out. The second phase after receiving their initial opinions is to include their philosophical opinions upon these pages to which I would then begin the third phase.

Handing them the keys to my life, I’ll allow them to chose a certain month of my life to which these memoirs were at full bloom and for the next week, have that particular person who wrote about their perception of who I was to read into my mind and thoughts. Being the part of me which they would never have seen before, it would certainly fascinate them to some degree and compel them to write more impassioned thought about who I really am.

The object of this would see how much digression their initial thoughts about me would change towards their looking through that window into my life and blinking their eyes to a reality that would inevitably change their perception. With the open knowledge of my mind in their hands, there will definitely be a difference in the content of literature. That is my ambition later in life as I am one yearning constantly to know what is looming within people’s minds. This will create a unity of wealth and broaden my spectrum of knowledge upon life, people and human behavior, something I look forward to.

Warm Sleep And Late Start

Jumping now to the formality of Thursday, let us to chronology attend. Having a blissful sleep last Wednesday night, I was hard of hearing my alarm ringing, probably thinking it was a dream. For the first time in probably two to three weeks, I decided to sleep under my blanket which usually covered the bed sheets for a comfortable sleep. With my now being between the sheet and the blanket, I found the waterbed to be quite warm but surprisingly, I didn’t sweat through the night like I usually did a month or two back causing me to have an uncomfortable sleep, fickle changing my bed sheets.

With such a warm sleep and the blanket over my comfortably, I found it way too pleasant to pay any remote attention to the alarm and for that, mum walked down twenty minutes later and woke me up. Readying myself that touch quicker, I checked my bank account that morning and feeling blasé about the amount of money that would be in my account, that touch of anticipation was rewarded when I had $689 in my account.

Surprised, I spent the next fifteen minutes sorting out my budget accordingly and transferring $59 into my Credit Card account which now stands at $150 available credit. Slowly my credit limit as well as my credit rating are gaining momentum to which by the end of November will see my Credit Card fully paid off. Having a shower and readying myself quickly, I headed out of my house a touch late due to my awarding find…

Faces On The Late Train

Catching myself the late bus to the station, I waited around for a couple of minutes and then boarded my late train, escaping the chilling winds. The usual faces of the late train were there being that girl that used to go out with Reginald and the blonde chick with the mole on her cheek. The blonde girl decided to sit in her normal seat at the end of the carriage facing me to which I was on the middle three seater facing towards her.

However, for the most of the trip my attention was centered more on the girl I thought was called India (Nick’s old girlfriend) but to which upon my overhearing think it to be Odalys. With plenty of seats available on the train, I thought it was an obvious ploy to see some Asian or Philippine looking guy sit next to Odalys on the two seater.

Looking away from her at most, trying to look relaxed but seeming fidgety as he poked a glance out of her window, I knew that he was trying to flick the smooth moves but just didn’t know how to go about it. Odalys would have known he was up to something as well because despite there being a seat in front of me with no one on it, he decided to take a seat next to Odalys, keeping to himself for half the trip.

The Man With The Scarf

Before jumping on the train I noticed this Philippine type guy who looked like he had style as well as appeal to the opposite sex. Having a stylish matching suit top and bottom on (Which was loose and slim wool), he also looked suave with his charcoal gray scarf around his neck and a skeleton mobile phone which would have cost him a fair bit of money.

Having a dark tan, clean hands and a jawbone structure on par to Cai, he certainly looked the part. In addition, he had a wooden pearl bracelet around his hand and I figured this was some Philippine tradition or custom to wear such an ornament, a conversation starter. However, the conversation starter seemed somewhat obedient and dull-witted initiation compared to what I perceived he would say.

From what I could see and discern, with his hands waving around his Chest area as he spoke, it looked like he asked where the train was heading to which I faintly heard Odalys say something about jumping off at Wynyard or Town Hall. What surprised me is how Odalys jumped eagerly upon conversation when the both of them had commenced. I’m not sure if it was her pleasant attitude or her liking the guy but she seemed more fascinated with him than he with her.

For the first five minutes he kept waving his hands around and speaking about the trains to which I gathered he was complaining about the different lines, always with a smile on his face. Sounding like he didn’t have too great a command of English, when I overheard him mentioning that he’d only been in Australia for the past three weeks I found that hard to believe for many reasons. Firstly, chicks love foreigners as I do Canadians so Odalys would obviously have been fascinated about hearing him speak than say, some Australian surfer guy.

She Hands Over Her Number

In addition, the mobile phone, the expensive watch which became a point of conversation, his suit and his already having a city job were good reason to believe he was making up the story for royalties. Nevertheless, Odalys bought it as she was leaning forward, intrigued to chat with him and folding up her paper to do so. The conversation I believe was lame to which he also took half an hour to gain enough courage to speak about such a stupid subject. However, she was glutton to his company and sprung quicker than a trap when he began to chat.

What surprised me near the end of our trip when we were heading to Sydenham was how it appeared he asked for her phone number and she gave it to him, that simple. Women like guys who know how to talk and that would explain how he punched in her phone number into his phone and asked for her name to which he stored it in memory.

This guy made it seem so easy to break that barrier of insecurity and yet, despite the hoard of women I see everyday on the train, few do I even break the barrier to speak with let alone ask for their numbers, I’m not bold enough. This Philippine guy had confidence in his conversation and that’s why she felt obliged to hand over her phone number.

What surprised me more is how she sparked up enthusiasm to speak enlightened when the phone number was handed over, like the anticipation was finally over. This Philippine guy didn’t hold back much as he went on to ask her about relationships to which she noted she was going out with Nick but they didn’t have too great a time. From what I gather, Odalys has only gone out with Nick and since then she’s had no one, kind of like me and Lyssa.
