Lyssa Rings At Seven

Some more information to my night. Lyssa just gave me a call around 7:00 p.m. tonight and we talked for half an hour. At the start of the conversation I was so grateful to be talking with Lyssa, the one person that would make my night that touch better. Knowing that I was in a depressed mood, Lyssa tried to make me feel better but I just got all the more depressed for her happy life. Chatting a touch upon Lyssa’s night at the Catholic Club and then Chevy’s, she doesn’t remember ever making fun of Keith except for once and explaining that they were both just big liars, I am firm to believe her comments.

Therefore, what Keith said about Lyssa holding Naqi’s hand is full of shit and not to be believed. The urge to sneak my hopes of Lyssa coming to visit me was building in my mind but my hopes were dashed when Lyssa told me of her great night. At the Catholic Club last night, Lyssa saw Braxton getting onto some girl in front of Lyssa, acting like he was top shit, showing off. Lyssa thought he was a fool and turning right next to her, she saw a guy she always thought was good looking and had known for a couple of years.

His name was Ivan and now being 24 years old, Lyssa knew him from Sonya’s 21st birthday party two odd years ago. Lyssa mentioned how they had a conversation and then at the end of the night he asked for Lyssa’s number from Nikita or someone else. Lyssa sounded ecstatic over the phone as I felt pleased for her life but at the same time, felt all the more depressed.

Not Coming Over Tonight

No more did I feel like inviting Lyssa over as I had that feeling that Lyssa was again moving on. However, as Lyssa noted that she was supposed to head to Mazin’s birthday party tonight, my hopes seemed somewhat dashed of any comfort for my gloomy night. Lyssa had Nikita’s car from the night before and as she had to drop it off back to her I tried to coax her into coming over and visiting me. However, it would have been out of Lyssa’s way as she had to head for Ingleburn.

As Lyssa could see my desperation and depression, she tried inviting me to the movies with her and Nikita if they head out tonight to watch ‘What Becomes of the Broken Hearted’ but I wouldn’t feel too comfortable being there. If it were Constantine it would have been a different story but because Nikita and I had a little confusion in the past, it wouldn’t be right. “Come over after the movie and see me” I asked Lyssa in my depressant state. Lyssa told me that she would try her best to come and see me for the night but the probability wasn’t on my side.

Lyssa also thought to note that the last time we had a conversation on the phone, the reason why Lyssa hung up so rudely was because it was her first day of periods and she didn’t want to take any shit. Lyssa was going to ring me the very next day and apologize but she figured I wouldn’t be home and therefore, didn’t bother. That is also part of the reason why Lyssa didn’t want to head over to my house, she knew that she would be bitchy.

Through our conversation, we also started talking about Naqi and how for the whole of last night he was talking about me. Lyssa advised me that Naqi drove past my house on Friday night and came so close to stopping and getting out to talk with me but he never done so. My relations with these acquaintances of mine is growing thin and if I was ever at my most vulnerable, it would be around now to make a decision against my will. “I’m so depressed”

I noted to Lyssa as she told me her little story and I realized I hang around with dickheads who don’t have that same desire for friendship. “You’re not going to cry are you” she concernedly asked and as she said that, the tears did begin to flow but I didn’t let Lyssa know. I felt so alone before Lyssa called but letting out all my depression felt good. Now I don’t feel as bad knowing that there is a glimmer of hope for my future.

Naqi And Friendship

The subject of Lyssa being good friends with Naqi also came up but to my gratitude, Lyssa didn’t escalate the situation as she normally does. I kept putting up the argument that Naqi stole Lyssa from me and Lyssa was blind not to see it. Lyssa gathered that if Penelope didn’t have a problem with the two of them then why give up on a good thing. Bringing up the point that Lyssa promised once back in the day that she would stop being friends with Naqi if we were friends again, she swore it again after careful consideration.

Lyssa wants to see the both of us become friends again, feeling as if she had something to do with the both of us not being friends again. Let me just note that I would have heaps more fun and good times if I was to head out with Naqi and the rest of them to clubs. I feel there would be much more call for feminine opportunity and with Naqi, I can be myself again. With these acquaintances, I can’t be the real me, the who of who I am.

However, I’m too stubborn to ever take Naqi back as a friend but I will bend to his favor if he ever did show his face at my house again. Do you see the irony in not being Naqi’s friend for one act of doggedness but after continually being dogged by all these acquaintances, I stick around. This possibly is because they don’t mean as much to me as Naqi did and real friends clash the hardest quicker. Lyssa and I ended our conversation after half an hour because she had to give a couple of people a call to make plans for the night.

Dressed Up For Video Ezy

Just in that short time after writing my last paragraph, I made a decision and a quick dash down to the shops. The idea for a movie night was sprung in my mind and therefore, I donned my cargo pants, the new slim-line jacket and my new ‘Guess’ shoes and cladding those purple lens glasses, I was off. The outfit looked remarkably good, as if I was going to be in the next Run DMC concert, doing the rap dancing.

Trying on my DKNY Hat before heading out, I found it to be a great outfit. Jogging slightly to the shops, testing out the front portions of my shoes that arched in on their large souls, I wanted to get back home before Lyssa thought of calling. I figured that if Lyssa called me and I wasn’t home, she would just end up going out because she was heaps busy and I was right.

Anyway, not feeling too awkward or dressed up at Bradbury shops, it looked desolate enough for me to roam free. In Video Ezy, I walked over to the new releases and saw myself standing next to a guy I’ve known for quiet a while, just can’t remember his name. I remember meeting him through someone though, he has blonde short hair and has a slight resemblance to Ace.

Standing there, chatting to him about my sickness and using the excuse of my red eyes for the need of the glasses, we sat there chatting for the length of time that we were perusing movies. He was having a night at home himself and not wanting to be all dressed up and saying I was going to be alone, I made up a small white lie in which I had a couple of friends over. Anyway, I rented ‘The Holy Man’ and then jogged back home expecting a call.

Lyssa Calls Back

Minutes later, Lyssa did call my house, asking me if I felt any better from my depression. Advising Lyssa that I felt better when I talked with her she noted “I don’t know why, I’m not a very good person to talk to”. Basically, it was just the fact that I was speaking to Lyssa that made it all worthwhile and as I was warned Lyssa couldn’t take too long on the phone, I was still partially void when we ended our conversation.

In regards to how Lyssa and I were speaking theoretically about me being Naqi’s friend again if she never talked to him, she told me some startling news. Taking what I said seriously, she called up Penelope and basically told her the whole depression thing and how I would be friends with Naqi again on that decision. Penelope as I was told was elated and Naqi too after hearing the news felt a sense of well being.

Nevertheless, I set Lyssa straight in her naïve little premise in which she then felt bad for spreading such wrongful praise. What’s more, Naqi and Penelope were heading to the movies with Lyssa and Nikita for the night, deciding to abandon Mazin’s party altogether. If Naqi wanted to stop hanging out with Lyssa and he thought I was going to be his friend again, why is he still so insistent on watching a movie with Lyssa tonight.

When the whole dramatic mess was sorted out regarding my situation with Naqi and Lyssa knew there was still no chance, we changed the subject. Actually, there wasn’t much else to talk about in our little span of time as I noted to Lyssa that I rented out ‘The Holy Man’ to watch for tonight. Now Lyssa has to go and break Naqi’s heart by telling him that I wasn’t serious about what I had revealed in trust to Lyssa.

The reality of the situation if I had told Lyssa not to say a word would have been the exact extent to what Naqi and I ended our relationship over. This information Lyssa shouldn’t have spread and now she only has herself to blame. Before Lyssa left as she had the car and she had to pick up Nikita, Naqi and Penelope, I asked her to give me a call tomorrow some time so we could have another chat.

Maybe by tomorrow I can figure out whether I’m still depressed enough to have Lyssa help me through this tough situation or whether I can fight through it for another week at my only savior, work. I might also mention in passing that in one of our earlier conversations, Lyssa mentioned that Constantine was close to my house having a movie night as well. She was with her sister supposedly and because I felt depressed, Lyssa told me I could possibly meet up with them.

However, I would feel just as welcome as I make myself in the midst of many strange eyes wandering and deciding not to place myself in such a predicament, my choice was to decline her offer.

Ralf Picks The Club

As the tape fast forwards I’ll also mention that I just tried calling Shawn and as he was on the other line, he called me back seconds later. In basic essence of what is happening tonight, Ralf and his persistency are seeing the all of them head to the ‘Meridian’, how original. From one bad club to another they head and I noted to Shawn that I’ll probably be having a better night watching a movie than he will going out with them.

What’s more, Keith also decided to tag along with them but in his own car so Shawn has double trouble on his hands. For Ralf to be talking behind Keith’s back and then for him to come along for the night, that’s got to be bad. Anyway, Shawn told me that Ralf was thinking of heading into the City to a club called ‘Brooklyn’ and as I recited how I looked when I walked down to the shop, I noted I wouldn’t mind heading down there.

Now it’s up to Shawn and his being persuasive to see if I head out for the night. I won’t go to Meridian to have a shit night but I will head out to Brooklyn because I’m dressed for R &B tonight. Even though I know I won’t be having a great time with Ralf and Keith there, Shawn will be my partner in crime, slowly drifting off to lesser nights. Shawn didn’t want to come to the City tonight with us basically because no one was driving in.

Man, I can’t wait to get myself a car so that if I do get depressed, I can just go out and find my own fun. Tonight I went for a little walk but that’s nowhere near the same. However, I want to buy Binh’s laptop first before I even consider a car and from there, it’s time for a set of wheels.

Lyssa’s Fight With Her Mum

Just a quick note before I head off for two hours relaxation and watch this movie, some more information regarding my conversation with Lyssa. Forgetting to note an important subject, Lyssa told me that the reason she wasn’t home in the morning was because she had gone out for the whole day with Naqi and Penelope so he could get his car fixed. Naqi was pulled over on Thursday and already having a yellow defect sticker on his car, he was fined doubly.

The reason Lyssa sought to spend the boring day with them was because she had a fight with her mum in the morning. When coming back from the Chevy’s last night Lyssa’s mum asked Lyssa if she could clean the kitchen before going to sleep. Well, Lyssa went to sleep without cleaning the kitchen and in the morning Lyssa’s mum woke her up with yelling abuse.

It became a heated confrontation as Lyssa slapped her mum who in return slapped her back. From there all of Lyssa’s possessions and makeup were thrown out and Lyssa seeking refuge headed out with Naqi and Penelope. Now that you know the all of the conversation and as I feel that I will be staying home all night tonight, I shall get to this movie and then back to these pages.
