Playing Catch Up Again

Sunday 10:00 p.m.

Vigorous days and hectic nights, where the future voyeurism propels me to better my words when best I do see these pages. This is the third passage for Sunday and probably the sixth or seventh passage for the weekend. As you can see, most of my Saturday and Sunday was spent typing away at these pages and from a four-day disillusion having separated my chronology back then, I have only increased it somewhat.

Still, I have to speak of Thursday, Friday at work and heading out to the Catholic Club, Chevy’s and then finally of Saturday night. I’ve had the pleasure already of dictating my Saturday morning and afternoon due to my typing avidly and Sunday as you may well have read has been documented tonight. With the hopes of now completing Thursday night before I get to sleep I will only have two night’s worth of chronology to decipher but still, this work week brings more problems of time and fun.

Keith wants me to head out for trivia night at the Catholic Club tomorrow and since it has been a while I’m thinking of heading down. However, if I do so then my chronology will lag and I will be back to square one, four days of depiction. Therefore, let me spin off quickly to the chronology of Thursday as I don’t have much time tonight but I do have enough time to explain the shorts of Thursday.

Gawain in the Washroom

Skipping the clichés of Thursday mornings departure for work, I will advance to my actually arriving at work. One word to note is that for Thursday I woke up a touch late as has been the fashion these days. Arriving at work I collected the mail from downstairs and then after bringing it into our office I headed to the toilets. The reason behind this is because I was in a rush to do my hair up before leaving for the bus in which I just barely caught it.

Apprehensive about how it looked I headed to the toilets and a second after my walking in the eccentric Gawain walked in, at least, I think that’s his name. Putting on his bright green tie and his clear black frame glasses he acknowledged me from our brisk talk the day before and we started conversation. Gawain isn’t a show-off but he likes to stand out both in attitude and in the eccentricity of his clothes, sometimes stemming to the lengths of bizarre.

As he changed from his jeans and shirt to his work clothes Gawain noted how his clothes were at the dry cleaners the day before, discussing the cheap prices in which he had to pay for most of his clothes. Making my way into the toilet as he walked next door and didn’t hold back on the volume of his urination we chatted furthermore as I fixed up my hair. Before heading back to work he asked if I was going to head down for drinks on Friday night at the pub down the road.

From what I hear, mostly everyone heads down there on Friday nights just to get together and that’s where most friendships are made and people are made fools from alcohol. Inviting me along with him I thanked him for his offer saying that I was undecided. Heading out to the pub sounded like a good idea and it was good of Gawain to accept me into his little circle but I wouldn’t have felt too comfortable and as it was a pub and I don’t drink, letting loose would have been difficult.

Heading out of the toilets I headed back to work. That wasn’t the last contact I had with Gawain for the day but because of my reticent nature I’m not as forward for conversation in front of people. As much as I’d like to get to know him better as well as many people from work, I never get the chance because I’m all bottled up inside, never releasing my potently sweet scents of traits.

Four Briefs and a Taxi

Beginning upon the mail almost immediately with Najla she seemed like she was on a mission to get the job done. The day was utter chaos which engulfed all facets of my position. One part of the fuss was my bid to send out four briefs to be completed, one was the important file that David had asked me to do the day before.

The main brief didn’t come back until after I had lunch at midday in which I had to hurry the common law file while still maintaining quality to have it out before outgoing mail. The whole day was anarchy and my heading out to hand deliver the briefs at the end of the day was just cause for such stress.

However, even when heading out in a taxi at 4:45 p.m. the taxi driver didn’t know where he was going and it took us ages to finally get to a destination I could have easily walked to. At the end of the day there were three briefs I had to send out. The important brief for David which was on for hearing on Monday, another urgent update for Najla and an update of my own.

Traveling in a big circle around the City as I caught my taxi near the end of the day, I was in a hurry but the driver took his time through traffic pile-ups.

The Update I Threw Away

When we finally arrived to the Elizabeth Street destination that was right in Martin Place I slapped myself in the head. That one cab charge I received could have been better used to head to the furthest part of the City in my bid for shopping after my deliveries. Despite this and my hurry to deliver the documents, I done a bad thing. The update that I had completed for the day (Which only had a couple of unimportant pages) wasn’t delivered due to its being well out of my way and my not having another cab charge.

Jana didn’t know about this update as I delivered the first two right in Martin Place and then placed the smaller update in my bag. On for hearing for Monday it was vital that I got it out for the day or it would have been useless to keep. In the end of it all, I ended up throwing it away so slap me on the hand for bad work morals. There was a moment at work where I should have faxed it through but I figured that I was heading there to drop it off anyway so why bother…

Spending Plans and Kelsey

The rest of my day at work was just the anticipation of heading out and buying new clothes. In the morning before heading to work I used the phone banking in which I transferred a measly $17 over to my Credit Card which was below the $1000 mark. When heading to work in the morning I also headed to the bank to withdraw my remaining available balance, a fair amount.

Oh yeah, I actually placed $77 into my bank account as I later placed $60 onto my phone bill via another phone payment service. At the start of the day I had a chat with Linh at the photocopier where I showed him my little list of items that I wanted to buy for the day. I’m not too sure why I showed him what would otherwise make me embarrassed but I think it was because I was pushing for an angle of conversation and that was the best alternative.

Kelsey was also another person that I had a lively conversation with. Out of the blue while in our office area, she asked me whereabouts I lived in Campbelltown. As I shared parts of my life with her she noted how she heads down to Macarthur Square University to study in a five year diploma cause relating to her being a law clerk. Speaking with Kelsey was informative as well as pleasing, I love her down to earth nature and pleasant attitude.

Lunch Shopping Fails

With the day over and my eagerness to head out shopping with a wad of cash making my wallet seem like a box of smokes, I headed towards Pitt Street’s shopping complex after delivering two briefs. The first shop I sought to seek was indeed Politix, where I had headed for my lunch break. Again, I forgot to add my lunch break but just to be quick, I tried to do all my shopping at lunch but failed miserably, buying nothing.

Within that time however I took a shine to Gas Station despite my bid not to buy anything from there. This caused me to head out to Gas Station after work had concluded in which I made a startling discovery of clothes later bought. When the disappointment of lunch was finished I headed back to work, eating one roll of sushi on the way there and then gulping down the second one at work.

A Look at the Work Gym

Also, I was told that the Gym had now been opened and anticipating a gander at what could create some fulfilling workouts, I headed down to the garage before heading out for lunch. Using my card to get through the sensor door I made my way into a room probably twice bigger than my room, maybe three times. It wasn’t too great an area and there weren’t much machines or heavy free-weights but what do you expect from a Gym that work built for our pleasure.

The trainer walked up to me and having a nice attitude he asked “You’re just looking around are you”. Nodding my head I done just that as I looked at the girls on the walking machines in their sweatpants and two flamboyant Lebs in Adidas pants, doing upright rows without any weight on the bar. The weight selection itself wasn’t that large as the trainer noted to me but despite it not being worth my while, the call of free workouts didn’t sound too bad.

In addition, I liked the option of the showers there as well as the chance to see the girls in real action in which I could build friendships. Najla is also intent on heading down for a couple of workouts and I might give it a try and see how it turns out but I fear that I will mostly be trapped on the treadmills.
