From Commonwealth Bank I had nothing else to do but seeing a couple of beautiful women parading on Queen Street I thought to walk towards the Mall to check out the beauties within there. There were a couple of glamorous girls within this area and I did see some in the blooming daylight but after my fun was over I headed back home.
The time was 4:30 p.m. when I arrived back home and having myself something to eat and getting dressed for the Gym I prepared for my departure. The time was nearing 5:30 p.m. and I was waiting for Lyssa to get home but the Gym got the better of me and I left before it got to late.
Before entering the Gym I noticed Jett and Maddox out the back and as they called out to me and opened the back door I went down to chat with them. The both of them were starting their workout in a couple of minutes and as we chatted about off road rallying and Jett heading to Eros Theatre for his birthday I had to leave so I could get to my workout.
Redd the Gym Buddy
Once in the Gym I talked to Jett but for most of the time I spent it with Redd. Seeing him as I walked into the Gym I said hello and noted that he was working alone for the day. When in there we got to talking as I started on my Wide Grip Lat Pull downs and as he informed me about Creatine and we shared stories. We also shared imminent stretch mark stories.
Half way through my workout when I started my triceps we chatted once again and bonding to each other a little more, we basically finished off the rest of our sets together. Redd was working his Triceps as I was and getting him to spot me on a set, I did the same for him. Sharing our knowledge of bodybuilding together, he left the gym before me and saying goodbye to him I was happy to have enjoyed some good company while I was working out.
Also at the gym was Dominic, Pepsi and that surfie kind of guy that is pretty solid now and about my age. We used to chat before I headed to the Gym and he stopped me while I was with Lyssa at Bradbury shops one night but I can’t remember his name right now. He seemed to know Pepsi and when I think about it Pepsi also knew Redd so I gather most people at the gym know him. Anyway, I should include my Gym workout here before I continue…
Back and Triceps Day
Back: Starting with a two minute warm-up on the bike which I feel I need to change I began my proper warming up. My first heavy set was with Neutral Grip Lat Pull downs and with 160 pounds I brought it down 10 times. However, I feel that I am starting to feel over trained in the back area and for that reason I didn’t give much effort in performing the reps strictly.
The next set was with Close Grip Lat Pull downs and with 160 pounds again I pulled down 10 reps. Making my way to Wide Grip Lat Pull downs with 140 pounds I created 10 reps but I could feel the strain in my Chest. I feel that Wide Grip Lat Pull downs could have been the larger contributor to my Chest injury. Moving now to Reverse Grip Lat Pull downs with 170 pounds I completed 8 reps and then pausing I finished 3 more reps.
Making my way to Lat Pushdowns I tried 260 pounds but not being able to hold the weight down I had to sacrifice for 240 pounds and 15 reps. Moving now to Seated Cable Rows I warmed up and then prepped up to complete 10 reps with 160 pounds. Moving to One Arm Cable Rows with 80 pounds I finished 12 reps per hand. Getting back to Seated Cable Rows I finished one more set of 12 reps but this time with 150 pounds. Moving to my last set being One Arm Dumbbell Rows with 80 pounds I completed 12 reps per hand.
Triceps: Starting more conversation with Redd and our working out together I completed a set of 12 reps with 85 pounds on Triceps Pushdowns. Moving to Lying Triceps Extensions with 65 pounds on the bar I completed a set of 12 reps. Moving to the cables and doing a set of One Arm Kickbacks (Pulling the weight from the top with my arm close to my body like kickbacks) I completed 12 reps with 30 pounds per arm. Lastly I moved to Overhead Dumbbell Extensions and with Redd’s help I completed 10 reps.
Abdominals: Moving now to Abdominals I finally increased my resistance and climbed over onto a new plateau. Keeping myself on Machine Ab Crunches I completed 3 sets of 30 reps with 50 pounds for each set. From here I had a drink and left for home.
Lyssa Sounds Muffled
Getting back home around 6:30 p.m. I had some spaghetti to eat that was already prepared and after a little while I called Lyssa. Taking three rings to answer the phone, reception sounded somewhat weird when she answered. Something wasn’t right about Lyssa’s phone and sounding somewhat dampened and like she had placed a part of a towel on the talking end I knew something was amiss.
“Have you bought a new phone,” I asked Lyssa and her response was to tell me of that surprise she didn’t tell me of at work. That surprise being that the Risks bought Lyssa’s mum a portable phone for her birthday and at that moment she was in her room talking to me.
Misty was also in Lyssa’s room as she told me a story of how Lyssa woke up late in the night and thought she hit something near her pillow when moving her hand. Seconds later a little slap to Lyssa’s face was given back and giving the hand was furry Lyssa realized that Misty had snuck into her room to sleep curled up right next to her face.
Lyssa loved the new present for her mum knowing that she always wanted one herself and Lyssa advised me that she looked more ecstatic when they received the phone that her mum was. Actually, it wasn’t the Risk’s that bought her the phone. It was Wilma, her best friend.
Television Blamed for Everything
In our conversation Lyssa told me that her mum wasn’t letting her hook up the Nintendo to the video player and she tried it on Kuper’s television and on the one in the kitchen but she didn’t have the right connections. The reason Lyssa’s mum won’t let her use the television in the lounge room is because years ago when Lyssa had a younger version of a Nintendo it was blamed for blowing up the television.
Lyssa advised me that the other television was 15 years old and the Nintendo wasn’t even on at the time when it blew up but her mum being naïve blamed it on the Nintendo and ever since, will not let anything get plugged into either the video or television. Nevertheless, Lyssa’s mum was made to eat her words as the television in the kitchen was starting to play up and getting green and yellow lines running through it. Lyssa said, “Look mum, the television is dying of old age, not because I have a Nintendo plugged into it.”
While we were chatting Lyssa also gave the Metallica CD that I had given to Lyssa to hand to her brother. This CD was attained when I headed to Jett’s house to collect the Nintendo and figuring that her brother would dig this music I thought to give it to Lyssa. Well, he didn’t have the CD and Lyssa informed me that he did dig it when hearing how I got it for him.
Saving for a Television
Our conversation through the night lasted around one hour in two different intervals and in the second conversation at 9:30 p.m. we chatted some more about the Nintendo. Lyssa wants to buy a television now for her room along with a video player so she can play her Nintendo. Because the television is breaking in the kitchen Lyssa knows she now has to buy herself a television for her room and is thinking of placing one on lay-by for the next two weeks.
Also a part of our topic was renting games and Lyssa buying games for her system and as we chatted Lyssa sounded very giving in what games she wanted to buy. Upon mentioning that she would probably like Zelda Lyssa advised me that she would buy it because I would probably like it.
