My Biorhythms Added Up Wrong (Part 3) – Mad Chaos: January 23, 1999

Saturday Evening Philosophy

Saturday 7:40 p.m.

When it rains, it pours. And, now as the harsh droplets forget they swell, they begin to cease. This philosophy leads me to say another sentence of systematical views. You fear what you do not know, and that which you do not understand brings curiosity. Now with this philosophy I shall bring some more and some attention to my error of judgment and my bad calculation skills.

My Biorhythm Sums Were Off

You know the old, “I forgot to carry over the 1,” yeah well that was me with my biorhythm cycles. I’ve learnt some more about my three cycles from the Encyclopedia and that they really do still exist as factual information. Lately I’ve noted that my biorhythm cycles could be out of whack as I came up with a loose concept that to how I felt mentally.

I think I noted that from (+10) up to (-9) on my Mental Cycle is when I am most positive as has been duly noted in the past three months of poetry and literature. Then again, I went all the way back to October and November’s entries to check my charts and my predictions and what do you know, I was mostly correct.

There would be days I would write poetry a couple of days after my estimated cycle (Being around the mark of -12) so I was confused to that part and thought I should move the days forward a notch. That of course didn’t suit me so I left it as it was and hoped for the best.

Counting the Days Alive

Just a couple of hours ago while I was mucking around on my computer I decided to recalculate how much days I have been born to date and I came up with 7310 days. From that I calculated my biorhythm cycles once again taking into account leap years and taking off 18 days out of my first year of birth. Also taking into consideration that the first day of birth (Being my 18th January 1979) would be when all days were at a negative count and the next day would be the actual start of the cyclic count, all on positive.

A Freshly Corrected Chart

Stunning were the results and shocking to my confidence in calculation. Each cycle was off by at least ten days and with that I corrected and examined the new biorhythm cycles. Taking into account what days I thought were my most positive (Being 3rd January to 19th January and in December, 1st December to 18th December) I came up with a positive account. Let me first write in my new and corrected biorhythm cycle and then we shall explain it.

Physical 23 DAY CYCLE 22nd DAY -7

Emotional 28 DAY CYCLE 6th DAY +2

Mental 33 DAY CYCLE 25th DAY -0

Reading the New Cycles

Now, with this new graph I found that the highlighted positive days I thought to be true were indeed correctly placed except for the positive cycle starting on my new (-13) day and finishing upon (+13). If you knock a further four days off the mental cycle you will find that it starts on (+1) but that defeats the purpose. Rather, I believe that those first four days in the negative state are indeed very positive. By this I mean that these are the last and winding down days of the negative cycle and are seen as less negative than the first couple of strong negative days.

Why Negative Days Can Be Good

So in relativity the last couple of days in my positive mental cycle will indeed be a slowdown of my brain’s thought and in turn will be seen as more negative than positive. Then there is the zero day which comes between a positive state heading to a negative state. This zero day is a scale ten of negativity and the worst feelings and things could fall on this day. The day after being the first negative day decreases in strength of negativity but is still strong. Here, let me show a diagram of what I am trying to get across, maybe it will fare better.

Peaks and Valleys of the Mind

Now if this picture turned out I will be a very happy man but if it didn’t I guess you will just be seeing text here and a rancid explanation for it. As you can see (If you can see it) my days within the 33 day mental cycle are gauged by a (+10 to -10) value, I take you can figure what’s positive and negative. The first day in the chart is (+1) and the last of course being (-16) Now as you can gather I am pretty much at a positive state.

Now my intellect to create ideas and instigate poetry would be around 70% on this first day and around the sixth day it will peak where my ideas will be at 100% effectiveness. Not only will my ideas be effective but I won’t be clouded about my thoughts and my literature will be more understandable to read rather than gibberish. Now as my prediction goes, on the fourteenth day I take a slide into a slight negative state even though I am still in a positive category.

On the seventeenth day I peak once again but to a contrasting position to my positive. In this direly negative state my intellectual capacity to create new ideas and think clearly will be at a low of 20%. My negative days start to get better slowly until we reach the 30th day where my true positive cycle begins. Thus, I can say with my research that the true conception of a positive state begins on my 13th negative day and ends gradually on the 29th day of the cycle.

Tonight Might Get Interesting

Now, I haven’t worked out how my physical and emotional cycle works and what days they are most greatest and weakest at but I’m working on that right now. I have a database set up that I record each day on a scale of (-10 to +10) how I am feeling within that cycle and after two or three months I should see some consistency, enough to make a better judgment. Anyway, I seem to have another dilemma on my hands tonight and that has come from trying to do this scientific research on my biorhythms.

Instead of getting straight to my Diary entry I done this research and now Ralf is heading over my house in half an hour so we can see what is happening tonight. Today I’ve been receiving calls from Shawn, Ralf and Lyssa when she left to get back home and it has been ringing a fair amount of times so I gather something will happen tonight.

Lyssa wanted me to sleep over her house and there was some doubt to whether I could or not but I doubt I will now as I’m constantly being invited out and Lyssa is tending to Penelope’s wounds. By that I mean that Penelope has once again broken up with Ali and from what I was told it was very serious. Lyssa informed me that they aren’t getting married anymore and it has been like that in their minds for quite a while now. The argument’s purpose I am not too sure of but let’s get to Friday night now shall we.
