Back Day Half Soaked
Back: Starting with two minutes of warming up on the bikes I headed half soaked from the rain to do some back exercises and gathered that this cooling off of water would prolong me from sweating, I was wrong. Sweating started for me when I was finishing up on the bike, can’t win them all. Heeding the words of Zubin I kept stress away from my Chest starting with some warm-up Reverse Grip Pulldowns so my Biceps would take the attention off the Chest. Beginning with my first heavy set I started on Close Grip Lat Pulldowns with 140 pounds performing 12 reps.
Pausing I performed another 10 reps with the same weight and then took it down to 100 pounds for a couple more strict reps. Moving to Neutral Grip Lat Pulldowns for the first time in a long time I summoned my energy to produce 10 reps with 120 pounds. Placing the weight down to 100 pounds I performed another 10 reps. Reverse Grip Lat Pulldowns was next and with 140 pounds I struggled with 10 reps as my co-joined finger kept slipping as it couldn’t bend (Due to having a pin through it as a young teenager).
Seated Cable Rows was next with 140 pounds and I found trouble with this weight to perform 10 reps but I accomplished it. It wasn’t until I came home that I realized I hadn’t tried this weight before. Taking the weight down to 130 pounds I performed 10 reps with fair ease. One Arm Dumbbell Rows was next and I found it hard to grip on a 70 pound Dumbbell as I performed 10 reps each hand. It took me ages to get ready for my set getting psyched up and wiping the ever flowing sweat from my red face. My second and final set was with 60 pounds which I performed easily 10 reps.
Triceps and Abs Quickly
Triceps: Now comes the easy explanations as they are never as long as the main body-parts. Starting with a 35 pound warm-up on Triceps Pushdowns on a bar I performed 12 reps. Pausing for a long needed rest I picked up 70 pounds and pushed out 10 well deserved reps. Taking down the weight once more to 55 pounds I performed 10 more reps quickly. Moving to Overhead Dumbbell Extension with 55 pounds I performed 10 fairly comfortable reps and then once again with the same weight performed 10 more reps. Picking up 35 pound Dumbbells I performed one last set more for my shoulders being Dumbbell Press for 12 reps.
Abdominals: So tired by now I barely found enough energy to begin on Machine Ab Crunches I performed 30 reps with 30 pound resistance. For three sets I done 30 reps with that weight and on the last set I upped the weight to 80 pounds and barely crammed out 10 reps to finish off my day.
Measuring Up After the Rain
Weighing myself as I was heading out I noticed Redd and I had a word or two of conversation with him before I headed home, drenched from head to foot. When I came home I realized it had been two weeks since I’ve measured myself so I done it once more and found improvement in most parts, mostly the Chest area. Having myself something to eat I thought to give Lyssa a call but it turned out that she called me first.
After some chit chat about Lyssa having eaten some of the leftovers to her brother’s party I told her she was slack for noting having brought me some the last time she came over on Sunday, I was being sarcastic. That’s when we started talking about the Dust Buster and Lyssa informed me that she wanted to come over so we hung up the phone and that’s probably when I started writing. The trouble was that I went to the toilet and in that time with the music pumping was when Lyssa came over. Answering the door I had to quickly turn off my computer on the way back in, Lyssa didn’t realize.
Lyssa on the Carpet
Lyssa and I both sat on our carpet as Lyssa asked if we could go out into the backyard. Almost instantly I told Lyssa that would be alright, not giving into a fight this time around. Out the back we walked as Lyssa had her smoke, the conversation I cannot remember or it was too bleak. Anyway, back in my room Lyssa wanted to watch a special about weather and tornadoes so I turned on the television to her channel and we sat watching, her with awe.
Lyssa had brought along the poems I had written to her so as she was watching her show I pulled them out. To my surprise there weren’t really much poems there that I hadn’t accounted her for, there was eight poems to my memory. There were only two poems which aren’t in my computer and around four of them haven’t been written into my Diary. Now I can remember when I wrote them and for what occasion they were starting from the poem I wrote for Lyssa being together for one month.
I typed one off by heart (The one in the clouds) knowing the wording almost off by heart and not even having read it much as I never had it before. Having typed that out Lyssa was eager also to type out one of the letters. Lyssa typed out the very first poem I gave to her and I laughed at the blown up picture I still find funny to this day.
A Ring and Nosey Questions
Lyssa also gave me my ring back so I placed that near me on the ground and the both us tread on it at least once during the night but not drawing blood as the very first time had done. When the poems were finished I was curious as to when I had written one or two of them so I searched in my search function and not really wanting to open my Diary as Lyssa was in the room I cautioned her about reading intently.
She didn’t listen to me so I had to use my quick hands to breeze with the quick finder in my Diary entry back then in those days to find out what poem I wrote Lyssa for our 100th day together, it was a song called “I’m your man.” Lyssa was then being nosey and having seen an article that read ‘Amelia’ she asked me what that was about. Without much deal to the subject I told her it was just some gossip stored from when I was on a chat line on the internet.
Lyssa must have been jealous because she kept insisting to look but I kept insisting that it was nothing. After her being a cry baby and giving me those sad faces I finally gave in because I was getting stressed. Reading through not even half a page she told me the Shakespearean writing that we were doing to each other was lame. That’s exactly what I would have expected from her so I closed it back up.
