Wedding Suits and a Boat Cruise
Running into dead ends looking for Tamsen we finally drove back to see Tatton but this time we noticed Binh’s car and Ralf walking around. As Tatton came outside to cash up we noticed Shawn driving Binh’s car who was in the back. The three of them were dressed up and that’s when I learnt that they had attended Shawn’s sisters wedding. Parking the car Keith called his girlfriends mobile phone and after having been turned off for an hour which raised his suspicion in the first place he talked with her.
Keith asked where the party was and she told him how to get there. That made me angry because I knew I was going to see something I didn’t want to see. Tatton ended up jumping in with Keith because Binh had asked him to and as he jumped in Shawn drove his car away. It was only then that we found out they were headed for the City to go on some boat cruise thing for $20. So that meant Tatton, Keith and I had to ponder what our night was going to eventuate into, I knew exactly where I wanted to be, at home interacting with my computer.
Spying On A Party
Keith drove to where Tamsen’s party was that was now situated in Ingleburn. Parking out the front of a house that looked like a Ranch and had at least 100 cars parked inside their huge paddock I spotted Tamsen in the distance 100 meters away. Talking amongst her work friends she noticed Keith’s car and continued on her way down to talk with him. What surprised me was that she came to my window instead of Keith’s window so automatically I gathered she wasn’t too happy with Keith spying on her.
Poking her head into the sun roof she lifted up my hat to see who it was, she got on my nerves with that. Either Keith could see that or he was just upset with Tamsen, he started pulling away with her still lent over the car so he could park a meter or two away. This time she walked up to his window and as he started asking questions about the party she told him the key details, she didn’t drive, she was getting a lift home with a friend and was getting drunk. Keith must have become wary of some deviant plan he thought Tamsen was cooking up.
Keith insisted calmly that he could take Tamsen home if she wanted to jump in but she became pissed off raising her voice at him. Still cool and calm Keith once again told her she could come home obviously worried that she would get dropped off home by some guy and they would have sex. Tamsen pitched herself up off his window and started yelling abuse at him for a couple of seconds and then she started walking away from the car saying “Look, I don’t care, you always do this, fuck off.”
Keith didn’t seem that phased and he contently watched her walk all the way back to the party before having a word with his mind and driving off. Basically I told Keith that it wasn’t good how he handled it and later in the night I hinted to him that I didn’t appreciate seeing other couples arguing, it wasn’t good.
A Subway Detour
Suggestions were now being thrown in the air and Tatton was content on driving to the City where I was content with my own plans of going home later. What confused me is when Keith agreed that they would go to the City going against everything he is, stingy and tight. A minute into the idea Keith told us that he had to work early the next day informing us like he had missed that small detail in the big picture, he didn’t miss it.
Instead, our plan was to head to Keith’s house, pick up a token for ‘Subway’ and then head there to eat before heading home. That sounded good and early for me and as we dropped Tatton off at home to get dressed I waited in Keith’s car so he could get the leaflet. Keith decided to take his mum’s new Mazda 323, figures doesn’t it. Keith probably would have driven his mum’s car to the City, it sounds about right.
The Club Lock Comedy
Listening to Keith’s mum tell him to take the club-lock to lock the car (Where it would be directly in front of us) her caution made me see the funny side. Picking up Tatton he came out the front and dealt us a classic moment. Keith’s car is a two door and earlier on I had to fold back the front seat to let him in. This time Keith had a four door car and as we unlocked the back door Tatton hung around my front window.
Looking curiously at Tatton I shouted out “Jump in it’s open” and he replied to me “I’m waiting for you to let me in.” Informing him that the back door was open he then went on to say “There is no back door you idiot.” Keith and I both started laughing as Tatton finally caught on that it wasn’t Keith’s Accordia. I guess you could pass it off as a mistaken identity because both cars are red but seriously, how lame was that.
Heading to the ‘Subway’ in Ingleburn Keith and Tatton both shouted me a ‘Fish Foot-Long’ and as we all had our meal and talked about worthless shit we made our way back into Keith’s mum’s car. From there it was a straightforward drive to drop me off but driving past Chevy’s I noticed Kofi walking down with a couple of his mates. The time was around 1:00 a.m. when I got home (This is from the top of my head) and for an hour or two I mucked around and worked on my Diary until the phone rang at 3:30 a.m.
Lyssa Rings At Half Three
Well, well, well, who do you think was calling me at that time of night, of course it was, it was Lyssa. Sounding all quiet as she usually does when calling me at that time in the morning she told me of her night at Chevy’s and then after some hardy talk she asked if it would be alright for her to come over. Looking at my Diary and then thinking about Lyssa’s offer I gathered I can finish my unfinished Diary entry with more to add another time. The time before Lyssa came to my house was spent on finishing as much as I could in my Diary entry.
Arriving in fifteen to twenty minutes from calling me I let Lyssa in once again with her three quarter plants and this time a black top. Later in the night Lyssa took her black top off revealing a blue top on underneath. As I asked Lyssa to take her bra off so I could see how revealing it would be Lyssa told me she’s only worn it once out and that was the night we were at the cabins for Nikita’s birthday. Lyssa asked me that night if it was suitable to wear out and I told her it was fine even though she had no bra on.
I have pictures of that night and every time I have looked back upon these set of photo’s I’ve always remembered the fact that Lyssa appeared to have huge breasts in these pictures. Obviously now it was due to her wearing this top that sort of had a V-Neck style and the parts on her boobs were sort of fluffy. When Lyssa showed me the top without a bra I was surprised that her nipples were sticking out and wonder what Ali and Imad were thinking that night.
Old Photos Tell Tales
Well actually, I just looked through my photo album and it didn’t look like the same blue top that Lyssa was wearing last night. What I also noticed through my two photo albums which started when I met Lyssa and ended when I broke up with Lyssa was my variation in size. Around the start when I met Lyssa my face was very skinny and so was my body, too skinny I might think.
Back then people would have probably said stuff like “You’ve got a baby face” to me because I looked so young. Passing through the stages I got noticeably bigger or chubbier around six months into our relationship or the beginning of the second photo album. The pictures for our last time in a hotel together when we visited Novotel for our one year anniversary was the largest I’ve ever seen myself in a picture and I guess I got bigger after that but now I’ve started to tone it down.
Glory Days Gone Hazy
It’s kind of sad to think this but the glory days of my relationship with Lyssa where we were starting our love I have lost much recognition of. Even the night when Lyssa and I first kissed I don’t remember as much as events much later in our life. It’s so unfortunate how I can’t seem to recall much of my happiness with Lyssa prior to our formal date. Actually, I can’t remember much until we start thinking about 1998. What did Lyssa and I do memorable in 1997. I remember sending her 18 roses for her birthday and sending her a card with that but much else I can’t remember.
It’s tragic how I’ve always thought myself a romantic yet the only time I’ve really touched Lyssa and myself is with those eighteen Roses and maybe on Valentines Day. Life is a working progress and without obstacles you will never learn from your mistakes. Those glory days when I used to talk to Lyssa for hours on end in our conversations, I can’t remember much of them yet our lustful love was so spurred on. It is here in our sadness that I reminisce on what I never knew and shan’t recall, of my life overlooked that made me content with existence.
