Phantom Gunshots Before Christmas Eve (Part 2) – Mad Chaos: December 24, 1998

Back Day Begins

Back: Starting with a one minute quick warm-up on the bike I headed straight to Neutral Grip Pulldowns. Starting first with a warm-up I pushed the weight up to 140 pounds and performed 10 medium paced reps. Taking the weight down to 130 pounds I performed myself 10 more reps. Moving to Close Grip Lat Pulldowns I placed the weight at 140 pounds and with slight discomfort pulled the weight down 10 times.

Down again I dropped the weight to 130 pounds where I performed 10 reps. Moving to Reverse Grip Lat Pulldowns and 140 pounds I performed 10 reps. Taking that weight down to 100 pounds I performed 12 more reps but with stability and focus on keeping the weight steady.

Back Day Wraps Up

Moving to the second part of my back workout I began with a warm-up on Seated Cable Rows. Taking the weight up to 140 pounds I performed 10 reps with a bit of trouble. Down came the weight to 130 pounds and with that I barely had trouble. Two more sets were due and as I walked over to the benches I grabbed myself a 70 pound dumbbell. One Arm Dumbbell Rows was the go as I completed 12 reps per hand. Taking the weight down to 60 pounds I performed 12 more reps. It took 20 minutes to complete my Back routine.

Triceps: Moving straight to a warm-up on Triceps Pushdowns I placed the weight to 75 pounds and performed 12 hard and slow reps. Moving to Overhead Dumbbell Extensions with 60 pounds I performed 10 reps. Taking the weight down slightly to 55 pounds I achieved 10 more reps.

Abdominals: Sadly I only performed one set on this as I was getting fairly tired and out of breath. The set was for 30 reps with 30 pounds assistance on the Machine Ab Crunches.

Shopping In The City

Now, the time is almost 6:00 a.m. and once again I have to be off because my eyes are getting tired but let me just give you the lowdown of the day. After my workout I headed to the City where I met up with Lyssa at 5:30 p.m. From there we went shopping and as she bought herself a top and lingerie to go with the top we headed out to buy our presents. Lyssa didn’t want her swimwear no longer but she got excited when she asked me to buy her the new perfume ‘Oui’ which means ‘Yes’ in French.

For some reason Lyssa wanted to back out on the last second in buying me the pants but in the end she bough the pants, I bought the top and when I wake up today Keith and I are heading to Campbelltown to buy the shoes. Lyssa and I started to fight about me heading over her house for the night as we had ourselves some seafood lunch. With all our presents we headed home but I chose not to say anything to Lyssa because I was too stressed out.

Lyssa Turns Down My Favor

Lyssa jumped off at Leumeah and I jumped off at Campbelltown heading home. Lyssa gave me a call as I walked through the door but I told her I would call back later because I had to plan my food. When I called back in a couple of minutes Bielka and DJ were over Lyssa’s house so she asked me to let her go which I did.

Lyssa informed me that she would call back later that night but she never did and that’s probably because Bielka and DJ stayed over so late or because Kieran came over and she had no chance to make that call. I asked Lyssa a small favor to accompany me to Campbelltown for half an hour before it got dark so she could help me buy shoes considering I was in the City with her for the whole day but she didn’t want to.

Her excuse was that she had to have an early night and get home so that she could invite Kieran over which sort of defeats the purpose. Angry I was but I don’t know whether I should be angrier that Bielka is keeping Lyssa awake more or content in a deviate way that she isn’t getting her desired sleep. I’m starting to hate the fact that everyone thinks Lyssa is the little angel where she is only the biggest bitch and the princess of having her own way or loving herself.

Tacos With Keith

Not wanting to be home with Lyssa doing something also I called Keith and he came over soon after to pick me up. Showing him my new clothes we drove to Simon’s house as he told me that Friday night Shawn and Tatton stole his phone. Since then everyone has been arguing more often, luckily I didn’t go out on the weekend with any of them.

Heading out to the Subway I changed the direction to the Taco place in Campbelltown where I also bought myself something to eat. I could write here in my Diary the caloric content of my day but I would only be guessing to say the least. Having had a seafood basket from the City that was cooked in oil and would be full of fat I also had a taco with lots of meat so I wouldn’t have a clue how much calories are in them but only to say there are plenty.

Anyway, I’m going to get to sleep now having said that and I hope to explain more tomorrow. Today when I wake up I have to visit Campbelltown and because my hearts bids me to I’m going to print out Lyssa’s poems and have them laminated. Tomorrow I also have to look for those shoes but those are the only plans I have…

Thursday 5:12 p.m.

Christmas Almost Here

Christmas is just around the corner, only one more night to go and everyone is out there franticly shopping. Myself, today I walked to Campbelltown in the 30 degree heat and along with printing out Lyssa’s three poems I bought myself some shoes. Today I was amazed by the number of gorgeous girls in Campbelltown, all with long hair, most with blonde hair and the hottest ones wearing pedal pushers or Caprice. Most of the girls were also around my height and all of the one’s I found attractive had great boobs, skinny figures, you know the rest.

Today as I was waking up at 1:30 p.m. Lyssa gave me a call from work and was going to let me get back to sleep but I thought we could have a chat. Lyssa told me all about last night and how Bielka and DJ who drove to her house were only there for half an hour. Kieran brought over Milton with him so I figure that Bielka must have left when Kieran arrived. Lyssa told me she was going to call me back but she completely forgot and that was the purpose of her call.

Bangs In The Night

Anyway, Lyssa got to sleep early like she said she would, at 10:00 p.m. Sleeping by herself in her room Kieran slept in her mum’s room and Milton slept in the lounge room. I’m not sure what Lyssa was wearing to bed (As her dad gave her a see through nightie that she wore a night before) but it will come into play later in my story.

While Lyssa was sleeping in her bedroom last night she woke up abruptly to what she thought was gun shots out the front of her house. Startled and still half asleep Lyssa looked out the window to see sparks each time the sound went off so she thought that it was a gun.

In her frenzied awakening Lyssa rolled onto the floor thinking it might be gun shots aimed at her house. I would have paid the world to see Lyssa’s expression on her face when that happened, he he he. The gun shots or whatever they were lasted for five minutes and when they were over Lyssa walked to the lounge room because she didn’t want to sleep in her bedroom anymore.

Milton was in there as Lyssa went to sleep on the couch or something. Milton must have been all excited about Lyssa sleeping near him because he recalls Lyssa talking in her sleep all night and he said to her he couldn’t get to sleep that night because of the gunshots. I feel that he kept himself awake so that he could look at Lyssa through the darkness, her in her nightie or whatever she wore, maybe a shirt and shorts.

Christmas Without Me

Lyssa had to get back to work and as she told me she was heading to the pub for the night she also informed me that she might sleep over my house for the night. The only drawback was that Lyssa had to leave early tomorrow, around 10:00 a.m. so she could get to Penelope’s house for Christmas. Lyssa is going to spend her Christmas with Penelope and not me, that sucks. Lyssa is going to the pub tonight with Kieran, he slept over last night and on Saturday she’s going to his block party, what’s the story on that.

Dieting Gets Wobbly

Back to today’s story, once off the phone I had myself a shower and then something quick to eat. Ever since last night and having to travel to the City and spending all that money I’ve been less and less eager on this Caloric diet. The fault was in me buying the food in the City and then thinking ‘What the hell’.

Still, I have weight gainer and I have been eating a good meal today so I might include today’s caloric content. Yesterday with eating that seafood platter, the little cakes from home and that taco late in the night along with my normal food my calories would have been way into the 4000 category. However, the fat content would have been greatly enlarged in proportion with the oily foods I ate so I won’t even try working out the details.
