A Quiet Phone
The fact that Lyssa hasn’t called me for the whole of Tuesday was a blow to the end of this month and now I am certain that this month has began to head downhill, maybe even a couple of days ago when I was speculating. I overlooked Lyssa and now our tradition of calling each other everyday that was broken once before has been broken again. Lyssa and I must have been on the phone to each other everyday for the past month or more but now that we’ve had once again a break it could be seen in a good way.
Lyssa and I needed this reality to realize that we’re not going out anymore and the fights we had on the phone we didn’t need. Even though I wouldn’t mind talking to Lyssa on the phone and would like Lyssa to be sleeping over my house on the weekends I’m not feeling it right now. Maybe it’s for the best that Lyssa and I don’t speak for a couple of days, maybe that will help me out of this hole so I can finally do something for myself.
Figuratively speaking I probably was comfortable where I was, speaking to Lyssa, arguments, friends everyday but now all of that is gone. No one has come over tonight probably because of the Simon thing going on but not only has Lyssa’s conversation been broken but the fact that my friends used to come over every night has also been broken this month. Good things can’t last forever, it had to come at some time and at some price, I guess this month was it.
Months That Start Good
How much longer will Lyssa keep her silence with me, when will I get back the possessions she had given to me ages ago as presents and now taken from me in one flailing swoop. It was unforeseen that Lyssa would stop calling me, I expected it but never realized until Tuesday that this situation was capable of happening. I am a person that holds tradition and the heart’s words very seriously and for most of them to be taken away from me this month is a tragedy.
In one corner you have Lyssa not speaking to me, torn letters from her, presents taken back and in the other corner you have less communication with friends, no more tradition in friends coming over every night and friends starting to dog each other. What is it with my months starting out good but turning out bad, has it got to do with Biorhythm Cycles or is it all just in my mind and in fate.
What I foresee for the new month of December is plentiful visits to the beach, getting up way earlier due to my staying up tonight, friends visiting me once again, Marley probably calling, me meeting up with the girls from Ingleburn Pizza Hut they took out on the weekend and conversation starting back up with Lyssa. With that said and done and now being 5:03 a.m. it’s time to head off, play the computer, eat, all that shit…
Wednesday 9:46 p.m.
Second Night of Silence
Speechless, for a second night has been the situation for Lyssa and I. Lyssa did sound very upset when we had our last conversation and she did sound fairly cut up so I can only assume that she’s taking my words seriously. How much more nights can we sustain without talking to each other.
I know there was one stage after our break up where Lyssa and I didn’t talk for over a week and one day she called me back and we once again started talking with each other. Since then I believe there has been harmony but now as you can see a further step has been taken and all our past memories of togetherness have been taken from me or ripped into pieces.
Gossip Flying Everywhere
As this month draws nearer to a closing I am becoming more aware of the losing battle to the fact that not only am I becoming worse off but most other people are in conflict. By this I mean by what I’ve found out tonight off Simon, Imad and Tatton about the Saturday night debacle including Simon and Phoenix. Basically I gave Simon a call about half an hour ago and upon being bored I told him to meet with me later.
In our small chat I told him that I had spoken to Imad and then asked him what was up with having Trent (Simon’s Dad) give Imad a call with accusations. Simon then supported what Imad had told me earlier about Tatton spreading rumors and now Simon doesn’t want to even see Tatton’s face until Trent has had a talk with him. The phone beeped as I was making arrangements for Simon to come over after work to talk about his Saturday night and changing lines it was Tatton on the phone.
Hoping It Was Lyssa
Hopeful that it would be Lyssa wanting to talk to me I should have known better. ‘Stubborn’ is what Lyssa thought I was not wanting to finish our fight and just speak to her again and I guess I am stubborn but if it carries on for much longer I will be the one speaking once again to Lyssa.
This past day or two hasn’t been that exciting and I admit I was coping without Lyssa waking me up from my slumber with her work calls to my house but even though I’m capable of leading a life without her I would rather it be the other way around. Sometimes you just have to let go but like the last time we stopped speaking for a while, it just doesn’t feel right.
Playing the Switchboard Guy
My conversation with Tatton tonight was circling around after formal parties as two girls came into his store at Mobil in Campbelltown and they told him they were off to an after formal party. Tatton now wants to locate them with Shawn also at his store and as he told me that I told him of how I spoke to Imad last night.
Asking Tatton about his conversation with Phoenix the night before he informed me that Phoenix had spoken to Imad on Monday night very late at night (Around 11:00 p.m.) and as she told Tatton that she had spoken with Imad he just assumed that Imad would be pissed off with what he heard. Tatton then went and told Simon to watch out incase Imad would be after him and Simon took that to another level as Tatton did.
Tatton had to get back to his work so I let him go and then gave Imad a call with pacified information through my tongue. Telling Imad that Tatton wanted to talk to him on the phone Imad showed his harsh way wanting to give Tatton a call instead and practically threaten him over the phone but in a ‘G’ Rated way. It’s funny to be the switchboard kind of guy, making inquiries, receiving information, transferring that data to other recipients, it’s funny.
I’m the neurological function center or to say the least, I hear all the shit. Tonight if Simon comes over to my house he’s going to be telling me his side of the story but if my hunch is correct all shit will fly when Tatton and Shawn also drive over to my house. The two of them might have a scuffle and I might give Imad a call in the middle of it so he can calm Tatton down, he he he.
Blissful Siesta and Lamingtons
Today I kept myself awake until 6:00 a.m. in the morning and feeling somewhat tired I had myself some sleep hoping that I would wake up in a couple of hours less than my usual. Right until midday I slept and after six hours of blissful siesta I lazily crawled out of bed. Mum and dad still hadn’t been shopping so there was literally no food in the house, nothing that I could fix up anyway.
They were just heading off so for the next hour I went back to sleep and when they came back home I once again popped out of bed and walked upstairs to enjoy a meal. Having some ice cream and some lamington cake I made my way back downstairs where I started watching television. For the rest of the day the computer didn’t get turned on until I started writing now.
A Very Sensitive Lesson
My legs I did work on again in the form of waxing the rest of my upper thighs. While I had to take off my pants to do the higher parts I wrapped some thin sheet of blanket around my groin area and the part of the leg that wasn’t being waxed. Mum walked in while I was applying some wax on my leg and luckily everything was covered up but still, sitting on my beach towel, practically in the nude and applying something to my half waxed legs, it would have looked weird to her.
Mum was just asking me to turn the radio down because dad was sleeping so as soon as she left I did. My legs weren’t that much of a painful problem anymore until I got to my (What girls would call) Bikini line. Knowing that this part was rather sensitive as I’ve heard people talk about in on television I didn’t really heed these words when I began with this sensitive part of skin near my groin.
Trying to rip that fine hair off from around that area caused me great pain, greater than I’ve ever felt and at one stage it felt like I tore my skin and at the same time ripped one of my balls out from the new cut and onto the cotton strip along with the wax. Yes, the pain was excruciating and even though I kept going I was more aware and tearing with less vengeance but it killed. Both sides of my groin matured some blood spots inside the skin, little round spots of obviously broken vessels or something like that.
For the rest of the night I didn’t do shit except have something to eat and then start calling people to go out. Someone is here now so I guess I will stop my entry as they enter my house but I just have to say that I didn’t go to Campbelltown today because I hadn’t had my early morning food. Judging by the lengthened engine being on I gather that Keith is now at my house so it’s now time to go as he’s just closed his door and coming up to my door.
