A New Day and a Plan
Here we are, a new day, a new week, new plans, more dilemmas and a headache causing decision at the end of it. Today with my money being forwarded to my account I am headed to Campbelltown to place some of it in my Credit Card and then I will fax my resume to that Mac Operator Position I noticed on the internet. From there I will head to the Gym and keep toning this body to a perfection I would most desire. Besides the plans for today, I assured that my morning literature would be more focused than not, so here we now attend to the curtain of chronology.
We shall begin after those hours listening to ‘Mariah Carey’ and reminiscing within those words, to make the unfamiliar, familiar. When the time reached near 5:00 p.m. I received a call from Shawn and as there were no plans for that night we decided to get together for our usual Playstation frolics. During our conversation I noted how we never go out anymore, to the City, to Wollongong, to Clubs, nowhere, he seemed to agree. Shawn didn’t take too long to arrive and when he did we began on the Playstation forthwith. There isn’t much detail to note but to say that as usual, our conversations were humorous and lively.
Our Usual Banter
The comedy between Shawn and I circles around our always being cocky and saying the words “Shut the fuck up” at least twice a minute to each other. A typical length of our conversation would start with me saying, “Shut the fuck up”. He carries on with “No, you shut the fuck up” and then I say, “I’ll shut the fuck up if you shut the fuck up so shut the fuck up”. There is just one of our little antics produced whenever we are in the same room together, all in fun of course.
Then, of course, we have the scoring of the night. First we played a game of soccer which I absolutely hate and while I played in easy level and him in hard, he beat me by three goals before I switched it off. The next couple of games were all on Basketball where he won the first three and then I came back on the third and awarded myself with a win.
Pari and Osama Knock
It was during this third game and around 8:00 p.m. that I heard a knock on my front door and remembering that I had called Pari earlier I thought it would be him. Making my way to the front door as Shawn patiently waited I found it to be Pari and Osama, I was correct. Forwarding them in they sat in my room as I had them acquainted with Shawn.
As Shawn and I continued to play our game Pari and Osama conversed with me and asked if I wanted to go to the movies with them for the night. Nodding my head and noting that it would be a good idea (Since Shawn and I were talking about how we never do anything) I asked Shawn if he wanted to come along, it was fine with everyone. “Did you buy your new car” I queried and looking into his twitching eyes, he smirked and replied “No, it comes next week”.
Osama’s Spotless New Car
For half an hour we played our last game of Basketball and then preparing myself we all headed out to Osama’s car. When we did walk around the concealing trees to where Osama had parked I did see his transcending new car. It was one of the newer Eunos cars (If that is correct), red and it was spotless with a glimmering shine, even in the dark.
Osama looked proud of it as we jumped in the car, Pari even offered me the front seat but I thought the backseat with Shawn would be best. Full leather interior was clad inside with all the extras and a sunroof. Osama wasn’t worried about his leather interior and our sitting on it, he wasn’t that conscious. With my christening words upon his new car in which he now has to create $6000 for full comprehensive insurance we made our way to Macarthur Square.
Macarthur Square on Saturday
There was an agreement between Osama and I, where I agreed to head to the movies as long as Shawn and I snuck in. Osama was fine with that as he reluctantly agreed at my house so when we parked the car in the outside carpark I felt autonomous. Making our way into the movies, me in my underdressed state, I noticed the many people who flourished the halls. There were beautiful girls aplenty, though younger than the breed I affiliate with. All four of us were surprised at the amount of people wanting to watch a movie on Saturday night.
Reading that our movie didn’t start until 9:10 p.m. we made a little walk to Fun n Games and when there was nothing to do in there we headed outside and sat where last we sat on the walkway bridge. While there Pari asked me about my gaining weight and muscle while I was on my heavier workouts and Osama just asked me holistically between many questions. Being the only one without a jumper in the cold winter chill I wasn’t too taken by it but was pleased when we headed back inside fifteen minutes later.
Arm Wrestle for the Tickets
Making our way to the seats in the Cinemas right next to the food stall we sat ourselves around a table, patiently waiting. Shawn and I had already planned how we would make our way in and meet up with the both of them but if it failed neither of us had a cent to our name. With a couple of minutes passing and my staring diligently at all the beautiful passing girls Osama told me that he was going to buy tickets and pay for me.
Replying with my intent to sneak in he offered to toss a coin and see who wins the right to make the decision but out of the blue I offered to have an arm wrestle. “I’ll pick the person of my choosing” I noted and then pointed at Shawn to go against Pari. An unfair mismatch it was but I was only being sarcastic. Offering then to go against Osama he accepted and unfazed we placed our elbows on the table and our fists together.
I didn’t really put much concentration into it or give too much of my effort but Osama did beat me quite considerably. Therefore, he won the right to buy my ticket as well as one for Shawn and despite my protesting we done so as he made his way to the ticket counter.
Nikita in the Crowd
During the time that Osama was gone to get tickets it was just me, Pari and Shawn and I felt that Pari appeared to be a little anxious to speak. Therefore, we done so and as I noted that I hadn’t seen anyone yet that I knew in the whole crowd I ironically noticed Nikita. She was wearing a pink top that I believed to be Lyssa’s and if she was walking around by herself I knew that someone else would be up there with her.
As Osama came back with popcorn and a drink it was time to head into the movie as it was opening so we parted our chairs and began our slight journey. Approaching the doors we found that the ticket collector had disappeared for a couple of seconds and if we hadn’t bought tickets this would have been a golden opportunity if Osama hadn’t bought our tickets. What surprised me more is that as me and Shawn made our way up the stairs Osama waited at the door like a good catholic boy so that he could get his ticket sighted.
The Movie Itself
This in turn made me and Shawn walk down those couple of steps to have our tickets ripped and from there we made our way up to a rather empty cinema to watch our movie. I’m not sure what it was called but it had Mark Wahlberg (Marky Mark) and some other Asian actor like Jackie Chan in it. The movie was fairly good, lots of twists and a fair bit of dark action but all in all, it was pretty good.
Making our way out of the cinemas around 11:10 p.m. I finally had a chance to relax my ass that was made uncomfortable from those discomforting seats. There was no chat on what we were doing next as we made our way through the front entrance chatting about the movie. Osama earlier had told me he wanted to check out Ettamogah Pub but I didn’t have money nor clothes for that. Despite that, we didn’t walk to Ettamogah Pub but we made our way to the car.
Back Home With Shawn
From there it was back to my house where I invited Osama and Pari to my house but after a little discussion between them they decided that driving around would be more rewarding. Deciding not to further our plans together I thanked them for a good night, for their hospitality and then made my way into my house with Shawn. For the next couple of hours we played some more Basketball and one game of Gridiron in which I won and then at 2:30 a.m. it was time for Shawn to head home. Seeing him to the door he made his way home in the frosty darkness and our last words “Shut the fuck up”…
Reading Shakespeare Again
That Saturday night I did get to sleep at 3:00 a.m. after reading some Shakespeare and Sunday morning I did awaken at 10:00 a.m. As noted already, for the most of the day after having a shower I sat outside in the backyard, out there near the plum tree, in the beautiful sun, reading Shakespeare. In those hours I did read the remainder of King John and now, I have begun on Richard the Third. No one called me last night, no friends, no past girlfriends, no strangers and no relatives.
However, I did call Keith to ask him if he could tape me the Football game where Brisbane Broncos go against South Sydney. Last night I got myself to sleep on the dot of midnight and putting down my book of Shakespeare I did prepare and have a good sleep on my waterbed. This morning I did awake at 9:30 a.m. and since those early morning hours I have been writing in this diary.
Now the time is well clear 10:50 a.m. and I say it is time to have a shower and make amends of the plans I have created for myself. It is time to use this money suitably and for suitable means to find their suitable ends. So here now I shall end my pursuit of chronology, though short and without too great a description, it does describe well. The day is not as bright as when last I did see it so how will this clouded day come about on the events of this morning…
