The Days of Reckoning (Part 1) – Mad Chaos: October 4, 1998

The days of reckoning have come. The lost years and the recognition are now over. With the seeing of my résumé complete, clothes for work and the reintroduction of my old friends, I have a picture of what I want to do with my life. Thus, the days of reckoning, of estimation and calculation are brought forth. Still I am getting over my cold even though 95% is gone and still I am speaking with Lyssa on the phone but estimation of the values in my future will level out what is right and wrong for me.

Last night my luck changed as I was just about to go to sleep at 11:30 p.m. The election coverage had just finished and my eyes were getting tired so I turned off the lights and was just about to turn off the television when my phone rang. Picking up Keith told me that Shawn, Ralf, Lucas and Simon were coming over my house and when Keith dropped off Tamsen from being at the movies (Also with Min-Su) he was also coming over. The plan was to head for the City but I just had to run it past who was coming over. One minute later the boys came over and walking into my room we all sat there trying to figure out what we could do for the night. Lucas didn’t sound too enthusiastic on going to the City but when is he (Along with Simon) ever the people to give away some fuel consumption without thinking about economics.

Ralf was drinking in my room and as a result he started spinning some shit. Out of the blue he asked if I liked Ali and I told him what I thought of him. Ralf told me that he was told by Keith that the reason I don’t like him anymore is because he said something about Jewell. Too far from the truth is what I remarked as I told him the reason I didn’t speak to Ali anymore. Lucas was reading my FHM magazines as he usually does (Because he might be as perverted as Tatton) and everyone else was almost asleep in my room. Fifteen minutes later Keith showed up to my house and walking outside I invited him into my house so we could work out what was happening. Once again we ran the city past everyone and if Lucas didn’t want to go he should have said something now.

Everyone jumped into Lucas’s car so I jumped in with Keith because I thought that was the better alternative. Listening to some tunes we had the idea of getting to the city and as the time was 12:30 a.m. we thought we would get there and visit some strip joints before coming back home. Driving to a petrol station near the bottom of Queen Street Keith filled up a full tank of petrol and as everyone else was buying food I thought I would buy some custard. These two girls pulled up in a white new car with the License Plate ‘Tarina’ and jumping out of the car they had very small glittery skirts. Ralf and Keith thought they were strippers and as we all gaped at them both (One in the car with Blonde hair and the other outside the car with long black hair) Ralf tried to say hello but they ignored him. As the girls left it was time for us to leave and being right behind them they pulled into a car yard thinking we were following them and waiting for us to pass them. Yep sure, I wouldn’t give them the credit to even say we were following, make them feel like they were the hottest things, nope.

On our way to the City we noted that we didn’t want to go the toll way and in front of Lucas’s car we started to get angry when we noticed Lucas turning off into Leumeah. Pissed off we headed up into Raby and then back towards Campbelltown. Lucas had his mobile phone with him so parking near a petrol station we tried ringing but his phone was off. Keith left him a message to call back and with that we decided to look for them in Campbelltown. Later in the night we found out that Lucas was parked meters away from us at a petrol station there and Simon had seen us but they didn’t do shit. When Lucas was done at that petrol station they dropped off Shawn and Ralf and then headed home but that will all come together with what Keith and I had done in the next paragraph.

Getting pissed off we rang up one more time and receiving their answering machine Keith left the message that we would be at their house breaking in. Once more we rang them and this time I left a message that we were almost at their house and that we would fuck up the whole house, just being sarcastic. Stopping at Lucas and Simon’s house we parked the car and then headed for their back door where Keith had luck before of opening it. There we sat in the dark yanking at the door to try and lift it enough for the latch holding the door closed to come loose. Keith had his turn and then when it was my turn I got it second go. Slipping into the house we had to open the laundry door that would only open from the inside so we had to try our worth.

Finally into the house we proudly turned some of the lights on and made ourselves at home wondering how long it would be until Lucas and Simon got back home. For ten minutes we looked around their house and I used the toilet once and then as time passed and we were listening to music and reading magazines we decided it was almost time to leave and look for the both of them. Before we left we turned almost all the lights off and started rearranging furniture and white goods. For example, we noticed that Simon’s pillow was drenched with his nightly perspiration and we thought to change Lucas’s fluffy pillows with them. Keith then put Simon’s car keys on their television aerial as I placed the beanbag under a table and a CD in the CD player. That’s about all I managed to do but Keith went one step further and finding their Shampoo he decided to relieve himself slightly into it. Keith told me that Lucas was trying to be better than him ever since he bought his car and he’s been trying to make his car faster. Whatever Keith’s motive was for pissing in the Shampoo bottle, it would be funny conversation for the next couple of months.

Just as we were about to leave their house we heard a car out the front and fearing the worst noticed that it was Lucas’s car. Quickly turning off the only light that was on (The Kitchen Light) we tried heading out into the backyard fast and hurried. Breathing a little heavy Keith and I tried to act casual and hiding around the corner we came back out when Lucas and Simon were stepping out of their car. The both of them knew that we were inside their house as Simon had seen the light turn off so Lucas decided to have his go at us. Keith gathered that Lucas would probably call the cops on us and as Lucas was walking into his house, he said, “If you do this again, next time I’m calling the cops.” Keith thought he was welcome back into Lucas’s house but Lucas was being a rude prick and not welcoming us in. So for that and for the sake of not getting found out I kept saying to Keith “Let’s go, we’re not invited here.” Simon didn’t want to stay home (Probably because he didn’t want to hear Lucas’s complaining) so he decided to come out with us. That didn’t bother Keith or I as Lucas pissed us off. That’s how we found out that Lucas turned off his mobile phone purposefully after turning off and he ignored us for the rest of the night as we tried to find him.

Deciding to pick up Shawn I walked up to his backyard fence where his dog started barking. Patting the dog on the head Shawn woke up and just fresh from being dropped off I asked if he wanted to come out with us. Agreeing that it would be better than sleep he put some clothes on and letting him into the back of Keith’s car we headed out on our way. Keith was pissed off that he filled his car to full and didn’t get a chance to travel to the City. It was too late now to travel to the City as the time was 1:30 a.m. and Keith had to work in the afternoon the next day. So, we basically drove around Campbelltown, looked for parties and drove past ‘Two Moon Junction’ a night club on that very long Road in Leumeah next to the station (Probably Airds Road or Leumeah Road). Two Moon Junction had some pretty hot chicks there but all of them were taken or attached by the mouth to some guy. Heading back into Campbelltown we noticed once again that there weren’t much people out for the weekend, probably because of the election.

There was nothing much to do for last night and so around 2:15 a.m. we started heading home. Keith wanted to go out tonight so we made plans for that and Keith should be finished work by now so I should be expecting him to come over later in the night. Upon coming home I went straight to sleep without a second thought and as a result had a good sleep. My bed heater was down and with the blanket over me I was cozy. So comfortable was I last night that nearing the morning I had a lovely dream about being in a room in a house with a couple of girls in there. Well not girls but I had the feeling that I could touch any of these girls and they would automatically have sex with me, like a brothel but more natural. Suspect anything yet, yep, this was a sexual dream. Touching one of the girls she gave me head or something, I can’t remember what I received but I do remember reaching an orgasm in my dream. Then someone was walking around and with my stuff all over the ground I found tissue paper from somewhere and tried to clean it up. Then I was transported to something like a tree house or the edge of a fence and as someone was talking to me from the fence I secretly flicked away the tissue paper. Upon waking up in the morning I noticed that the dream was real and I had a wet dream. Maybe this was the sign that marked the new era I have been waiting upon ‘The Days of Reckoning’.
