Grabbing myself a towel I jumped straight into the shower to clean myself up, brush my teeth, the whole shebang. For the day I woke up at 11:00 a.m. and once again I hope that these tired states where I get to sleep early in the day don’t get me waking up late like today. Having no plans for the rest of the day I thought that I would once again travel to Miranda, this time earlier as it was Sunday. Boredom caught up with me and tired earlier in my day I decided to close my eyes and give them a rest. In this time my eyes were closed I had a vision come to my head and just seconds before the phone rang I was thinking that Lyssa was calling me in a dream, guess who it was…
Sounding a bit more confident in her conversation we started to speak in conversation. Lyssa firstly asked how I was and then she asked what I had done last night. Telling her that I was out with Keith and that we were going to the City but instead trashed Simon’s house Lyssa started getting defensive on Simon’s behalf. Lyssa was just being jealous also saying that she is going to bash Tamsen one of these days. Also noting that in the daytime I had traveled to Miranda Lyssa thought this was too much and decided to interrupt with her night. The reason I say interrupt is that I feel Lyssa was only telling me about her night to better me and be spiteful because I certainly didn’t ask her about it. Rather, Lyssa asked me about my night and remembering that Lyssa would rather me be truthful I told her the truth.
Last night Lyssa went out in a van with Penelope, Ali and all these other Lebs for Penelope’s birthday. Noting that they drove to Bondi and jumped out to take pictures. Before heading to Bondi, the night started at 6:00 p.m. and they drove to an Italian Restaurant where they all bought food there and celebrated the bitches nineteenth birthday. Penelope just can’t keep her mouth shut because once again she opened it to tell Lyssa that Keith has a new car and when Lyssa spoke of his car she spoke of it like “Oh, big Accordia Turbo aye,” being a bit spiteful. Placing Lyssa in check I told her how Keith’s car would kick Ali’s ass now and I told her how Ali vainly thought his car was the fastest four cylinder in Campbelltown. That’s a bit of a joke because I’m certain the handful of Subaru WRX’s in Campbelltown with Quad Cam will kick Ali’s ass stock. Ali is vain isn’t he, he loves himself and when someone else tries to be better than him he tries harder to be the best, vain…
Lyssa then agreed that Keith’s car would probably beat Ali’s car as she kept going on about her night. She kept talking about Hakim as if he was unique to the rest of the Lebs in the van last night. Asking if Lyssa thought Imad was nice Lyssa told me that for the past years she has always thought he was hot. Hakim (Penelope’s Cousin) was out with them for the night and he also had a fancy for Lyssa. Penelope said that the only reason Imad was going for the night was for the reason that Lyssa was going. Personally I think Beard Boy is a step down from me but when Lyssa said that Imad was hotter than Pedro (The hottest she’s ever seen) I’m sure she was either being sarcastic or spiteful to protect Imad. What got to me is that Lyssa thought Imad was hot while I was going out with her. I can also remember a couple of times that Lyssa talked with Imad while I was there and a couple of times she went to a party and met up with Hakim. That didn’t piss me off thought because I don’t care anymore, it is the age of calculation and if Lyssa doesn’t fit in my ‘Big Picture’ calculation she won’t matter.
Before Lyssa started speaking so highly of Imad and telling me that he might be the next guy she goes out with I told her the truth about the smart looking girl I thought could be my next girlfriend. As I explained that day and the happenings and how she came back to Campbelltown Lyssa was disbelieving and being sarcastic by saying the girl was only looking at me knowing I couldn’t have her. Lyssa’s defenses strengthened as I told her about the smart tall girl and then noted about the girl at the beach. Once these points were made Lyssa started to believe that Hakim was going to be her next boyfriend and if he is I think Lyssa is being spiteful in some way to try and be better than me.
Personally, I think Imad would be a step down from me. Not making myself sound too good I know that by the people Lyssa has liked after dumping me she could do so much better than me or Imad. Rather, I feel that Lyssa is being subjected to Penelope’s life and all the Lebs she hangs around with. Because Lyssa hangs out with Penelope all the time there is more of a chance for Lyssa to hook up with one of her Lebanese cousins. That will happen if Lyssa keeps hanging out with Penelope and all her cousins and let me tell you, it won’t be her calling.
Lyssa would probably see me like her friends did for that year, a sidetrack to what her life should be. The year I was with Lyssa everyone was probably thinking “When is she going to dump Tony because she can do better.” I’m not sure if that’s true but seeing the big picture now and listening to the air waves that her friends produce about me I understand that they didn’t really care for me and still don’t. If Lyssa’s friends were her family I would best be described as the punk boyfriend who comes and picks up their Princess to take out and corrupt her mind. The family would be waiting upon their Princess to come home later than usual and hope that their Princess would make sense of her mistakes soon.
Making cracks once again about Penelope and hearing Lyssa defend Penelope I got angry. Lyssa told me she was best friends with Penelope and then I told her maybe she should get onto her, Lyssa agreed. Then I said, “Maybe you should have a threesome with Penelope and Ali” Lyssa agreed again. That pissed me off knowing she was only being spiteful but then when I said “Are we still going to have a threesome” Lyssa said “No.” Lyssa was only speaking with her hot temper and I forgive what she said earlier this day now but for that time we didn’t speak for a while. The phone was silent and suggesting we hang up Lyssa was ecstatic about the idea. Pissing me off once more I said “Okay Goodbye” and quickly hung up the phone to piss her off. My plan worked because Lyssa called back in a minute and uttered “That was a bit rude you know, okay bye” and hung up herself. Trying to ring Lyssa back up I noted that she took the phone off the hook.
This would be a good time to note that Lyssa also told me about her trip home. Dropping the van off at Ashfield the four of them (Being Ali, Penelope, Lyssa and Hakim) jumped into Penelope’s car. This was the only time that Lyssa had the chance to talk with Imad she told me. Penelope’s car has been breaking down lately and once again last night it broke down. From what I heard, third gear kept making noises and trying to keep out of third gear the engine seized up. Ali tried to fix the problem and the handyman he was, the car was fixed.
Now getting back to the second time the phone was hung up by Lyssa, I walked to the toilet. When I came back out I thought it would have been enough time for Lyssa to put the phone back on and was relieved to find the phone was ringing. Wanting to have the last word Lyssa picked up the phone and I remarked “That was a bit spiteful hanging up the phone and keeping it off the hook, okay goodbye” and then hung up. Taking the phone off the hook I was content with having the last word. Only off the hook for a minute I was wondering what I should do for the rest of the day…
Walking to the backyard I lay my new towel on the ground and in the 28 degree heat started to sun-bake. For fifteen minutes I kept myself outside as I turned over on each side for equal time. The sun was out but not that hot and the wind was picking up which started to piss me off. I was wishing that I was at the beach right then because the day was so beautiful but Jett had either dogged it or told the truth in which either case we didn’t get to go.
Walking back into my room I got ready to get out of the house as I didn’t want to get bored. Rather, I wanted to rejuvenate my body, refresh my mind and have a nice walk. There was an idea for me to catch the train and travel to Miranda but the was getting late. Once in Campbelltown it resembled a ghost town where there were only one or two people on the main street so I thought to travel through the Mall and then straight to Campbelltown Library. While there I printed out my Resume with a bit of minor adjustments and once that was done I made my way back home. Coming back home I noticed Lucas’s car out the front of Ralf’s house but kept walking hoping that Ralf wouldn’t come out and speak with me too long. That didn’t happen and the rest of my trip home was free of conversation.
Now for tonight I don’t know what’s happening but Keith should be home about now and coming over later tonight. Being on the computer for over an hour (As the time is 5:57 p.m.) I have nothing to do so I might give Lyssa a call and be sarcastic with her once again. Lyssa would be pissed off with me because of what I had done to her in our very last conversation but she’ll get over it. Maybe I can hear more of Lyssa’s infatuation for Hakim and I can find out what Lyssa is doing tonight, not that I care. Actually, I think Lyssa was thinking of going to Penelope’s birthday barbecue tonight but as she told me that her mum was out for the night I had a minute feeling that Lyssa wanted to be alone for the night. Maybe she was trying to be tricky and trying to ask me over for the night but I really doubt she was trying to say that. Whatever the motto of her conversation, I’m going to give her a call but I think she will be with someone right now, maybe not…
