Trouble at the Photocopier
For the rest of my afternoon and with Najla now back, we started on the mail which was overloaded and had it finished just after 4:00 p.m. Other people I chatted with included Jonas who I saw at the photocopier in the kitchen. Speaking to him twice through the day, he openly talked of how they lost their soccer game on Saturday for the semi finals. Jonas got into a fight with one of the players around his height because he was tripped and upon getting up, he smacked him in the face.
Unsure on whether Jonas got hit back, he told me how they have two more games to play which will undoubtedly decide whether they make it into the finals or not. “Are you going to Chevy’s this weekend are you” he asked to which I noted of my intentions to have a quiet weekend as nothing has yet been arranged. At the photocopier I finally got to talk to this Lebanese chick that I fancy on occasion. Although we are always around each other but I never spark up conversation, this time it was brought upon us as I had troubles with the photocopier.
Someone had pressed the button for two photocopies instead of one and as I fed a fair few pages, I quickly saw the problem and kept pressing the cancel button. She walked over assisting me and as I advised her of the problem, our small chat at the photocopier began. This was enough of a window to be friendly the next time we meet as she does look kind hearted and intriguing to her Lebanese background.
Najla’s Secret Engagement
Najla and I ended up having a conversation near the end of the day. Whilst the mail was being complete, Najla brought up how she’s heading out to inspect a house on the weekend. Her boyfriend’s mum (Whose name is Declan) bought a house for them, taking out a lone for which the both of them have to pay off. Remarking on how it would be their house, she was going to live there with his cousin until the house was paid off. “I gather you’re going to marry with Declan”
I asked to which she replied “Yeah, but we’re going to stay engaged for a couple of years”. As we deepened into conversation Najla advised me that her parents still don’t know of her plans to marry Declan or even about the house simply because she thinks her mum is old fashion in the ideal of her working up a career before marriage. “Why don’t you just rent out the house and pay it off that way” I questioned, replying “I want to be the first to live in the house, you know what I mean”.
The conversation then digressed onto cooking and how I was a typical male for saying “We’ll see what happens” when being asked if I would help out around the kitchen. Justifying myself, I commented on how I could cook if I wanted to, just show me that cook book and stand back. “Does Declan help you out in the kitchen” I asked as she paused and rocked herself. “He’s more of a helping hand” she noted, assuming that she wanted to be the boss of the kitchen and he was just the typical male.
“It’s our three year anniversary in a couple of days” Najla mentioned but she wasn’t going to spend it with Declan. “Nope, I have to head out with my family on some trip” and when I asked why she didn’t take him she replied “Nah, I just don’t want to”. Could the saintly little Eve be getting tired of her Adam and what’s more, is she still celibate being such a Christian believer.
Girls on the Train Home
Heading to the train station at the end of the day with Najla, I made a found that I was one of four guys walking to the station in a horde of women. However, as the women were mostly attractive, I wasn’t complaining too much about there being a lack of men in this world, more of a pick for me. Catching a train to Central Station, I made my journey to the express trains, hoping that I could slide home without detection at Campbelltown Station.
Making my way to the platform, I found that the doors weren’t open on the train and that everyone was crowded around the doors, waiting for them to open so they could rush in for a good seat. Seconds after I arrived, the train shuttled forward a couple of centimeters and then the doors finally opened. Pouring into the train steadily, I found my seat two seats behind the girl with the blonde hair, sitting next to a girl I thought was good looking.
When another lady made her way onto the train and asked if she could sit on our three seater, instead of allowing her the middle seat, I moved myself over casually, placing myself between both fair looking ladies. Despite my being surrounded by beauty, my eyes were mostly affixed to the blonde who I most adore on these trips back to Campbelltown.
Dodging the Train Wardens
Arriving at Campbelltown and after a tiny sleep, I headed out to consider what actions I could take. Hoping there would be no train wardens standing outside, I stepped off the train unaware but in my droned state, upon spotting their badges, I quickly turned around and jumped back onto the train. In the frenzied retreat I accidentally bumped into a Lebanese girl who had the tenacity to bellow “Excuse me”. Being angry with the series of events that held me up and stressed me out all day, I turned around and said “What”, lifting my chin in question and causing enough resentment for her to just walk away with distaste.
That didn’t bother me too much but more woe was added when her decent looking blonde friend looked at me as if to say “I can’t believe you rude you’re being”. At Macarthur Square, I headed over to the other platform knowing that my train wouldn’t make it in time but being hopeful. With the minutes ticking away, I started to rip up the seats with my pen in disgust but alas, done no damage. The girl that’s a friend to the blonde on the express train to whom I also think is good looking was also sitting on the train, being in the next carriage.
Every now and then she would lean forward and casually glance towards my carriage to which our eyes never caught but a glimpse of each other. Finally we left for Campbelltown and once there, I jumped off the train and paced up them stairs as fast as the girl whom I was looking at whilst anchored at Macarthur Station. Hopeless was my little jog to a bus in the Bradbury section as I jumped on to find it was for St. Helens Park. Pissed off, I contemplated my decisions and then began my walk through the walkway to Queen Street.
Walking past the best friend of that blonde on the express train, she looked at me as if the urge was there for the both of us to finally speak to each other but the words of disgust for City Rail never flowed and again, I am at a loss to begin a new friendship that is much anticipated.
The Supplement Shop Window
Heading up Queen Street, I bought two pieces of pumpkin and ate them on the way down to the Dumaresq Street bus-stop. For the time that I was waiting around, I walked down to the bodybuilding supplement shop and looking through the window, I saw very cheap and scaled down prices on Creatine as well as mass building protein powders.
Suddenly, the dream and ambition to start the cycle of getting cut and big emerged and thinking upon my tax return money, I figured that I could buy some supplements, partially fix my racer and pay $100 on my Credit Card, all at the same time. The Creatine Monohydrate was a one kilogram tub and it only cost $40 but seeming that this would normally cost triple, I gathered that this Creatine wasn’t the real thing or just lower grade.
However, along with some cheaper protein powder, I figure that I don’t need the best of the best as I am only starting out again. Therefore, the usefulness of some added supplements here and there upon workouts can help until finally I get to the stage where I want to pump hard. With this shot of foresight in my mind I drifted back to the bus-stop to which I ended up catching the 7:00 p.m. late bus back home.
Lyssa Rings Back
Once home, I chilled out for a little while but some time during my night, I received a phone call by Lyssa. Only lasting us a couple of minutes as Lyssa wanted to get to her television shows, her words were brisk in apology. From what I caught of her first words after ‘hello’ she said “I apologize for last night, you have a right to be opinionated”. Asking Lyssa if she could repeat what she said as I had no clue, she uttered “You heard what I said, I don’t want to repeat it”.
The wish to know what our argument was about was also hard succumbed from Lyssa. For those few minutes we chatted away in our newly enlightened state and as Lyssa wanted to head off and I had work to do, we allowed ourselves to be gone. That now and again is the end of my capitulation of chronology. As I started late tonight I’ve had to show haste on some latter sections of chronology as to Tuesday but as always, I can only create annotation for one night.
Therefore, Wednesday and today we shall have to wait upon the weekend to justify, if the weekend sure does justify with its lack of eventfulness. The time right now is 11:20 p.m. and as I am about set to lie in bed and turn off this heater for the last use tonight, I shall drift off for great sleep and hope my hand does not numb or freeze tonight. Here’s also hoping that my petty alarm will bother to wake me as well as keep me from laughing and then going back to sleep thinking the words, “Only a couple more minutes”…
