Lyssa Recounts Her Weekend

An hour after Ralf gave me a call my slumber was once again interrupted but this time I was just waking up. Lyssa was on the other end and as we started talking I asked her how her weekend was. Lyssa started off with her Saturday night but I’ll speak chronologically. Starting with Friday night Lyssa informed me that it was “all great” apart from this one drunk guy that kept trying to dance up on her.

Knowing of this guy from Shawn I realized that the situation was much worse than what he sparsely mentioned in conversation. For the whole night this drunk guy who was around 26 was trying to crack onto Lyssa pulling her close and getting in her face but in all that time, Lyssa was pulling away from him and telling him to get lost. Nikita and Constantine were both with Lyssa but Constantine was too drunk to do anything and Nikita would probably cry if she tried anything.

Kieran was also with Lyssa but she informed me that he was playing pool for most of the night. “I can’t believe that no one helped me or done anything about him” Lyssa told me. “There were these Leb guys looking at him as if they were going to bash him but they didn’t do shit”. Lyssa was left to fend for herself and finally upon approaching the manager, the guy got kicked out.

Nikita Wants the Spotlight

Lyssa also told me how Nikita was being rude and acted as if she loved herself once again. Commenting on how Nikita was getting jealous of Lyssa always attracting the guys, she went and deliberately pulled out guys to sit on her lap and to dance with her. That’s pretty lame and desperate if you ask me but Nikita was only doing it for attention and considering the next story I’m about to share, she was making a bigger issue of our new years eve time together as I’ve always gathered.

Nikita tried chatting up Ali one night this weekend and as I’m not too sure what night I’m sure on what happened. Ali was sitting alone in his car and deciding to get some controversy on people’s tongue, Nikita decided to walk up to Ali’s car and have a chat with him. “Hi Ali” she said, “You know I haven’t really had the chance to talk to you before, let’s chat”.

For the next half an hour the two of them had a conversation and I’m not too sure if Nikita was leaning into the car and showing her boobs or if she was inside the car but either way it would have looked flirty. Ali didn’t appreciate what she was doing and got upset just like Lyssa and Penelope but they didn’t say anything to Nikita.

A Saturday Night Spat

Saturday night for Lyssa didn’t fare any better but that was only because of Kiley. Everything apart from Kiley’s bitchiness was great but it’s just that one thing. You see, Kiley invited Lyssa to head out with her but the problem was that she was also with Dax and the two of them were joined at the hip for the whole night. Lyssa got pissed off with this so she headed off to chat with Kieran who also brought down DJ.

The let down of the night came when Kiley had a big spit about Lyssa being a bitch and always running off on her. On top of that I thought it was weird how none of them went dancing in the nightclub. They had rented five rooms and for the whole night they were sitting around, playing pokies and chatting. Lyssa even had a 29-year-old guy sitting with her trying to chat her up. He was saying that he was a millionaire and all the other crap that goes along with it.

Lyssa asked him for his identification so she could prove his story and in the midst of that he asked for hers and found out she was ten years younger. When they left for the rooms Lyssa ended up sleeping alone on the top bunk while Kieran, DJ and Milton slept on the bottom bunks together. Is there any place that Kieran goes without Milton being in the middle of it. Either they’re bisexual partners or both must like DJ to be doing that.

A Taxi Ride to Mine

After we both chatted about our nights Lyssa asked if she could come over later in the day after she visited the movies. “Don’t tell me your going to visit the movies with Kieran or Milton, and don’t tell me you’re going with both of them” I snapped. Not mentioning a word I gathered that I was correct in thinking these limp dicks were once again up to something. Agreeing that Lyssa could come over later and finding out that she was headed to the movies with Kieran I let her go.

Minutes later she called me back informing me that she wasn’t heading to the movies anymore. Rather, Lyssa wanted to come straight over, what a surprise. Fearing to ask her mum for a lift as they had a fight and not wanting to call Kieran she decided to catch a taxi to my house. This method of transportation turned out to be rather costly for Lyssa but she’ll live until Wednesday.

When Lyssa arrived I wasn’t expecting her so soon as I was playing my game of ‘Vikings’. Neither of us was very fazed as I turned off my computer and devoted some attention to her. For a little while we once again chatted about our weekends but the brunt of the conversation is lost within my memory, within reach but not entrenched. Thus, I will just include what I remember and as it happened.

Whining at the Video Shop

The plan for the night was to rent a movie and watch it, so that we did as we made our way to Bradbury shops. At this point in time the rain had ceased and it was only fractionally sprinkling. Once at the shops we made our way to Video Ezy where we had the choice of a couple of movies but Lyssa got her way. How can you resist someone who is whining about the movie she really wants to see regardless of me not liking it.

The movie was called ‘The Object Of My Affection’ and we could have picked out ‘The Big Hit’ which I didn’t mind seeing again or ‘Wild Things’ but Lyssa had her way. What I didn’t like most about Lyssa’s whining was that she made a small public spectacle of us, and the thought of other people listening in on our conversations like voyeurs to our drama, with roaming eyes like sideward profiles of fish, judging us, it made me want to make the contention disappear.

I tried to keep the attention drawn on us down by keeping the peace but when it didn’t work, I just picked up the movie she wanted, silently menaced and without argument. Reading my disgruntled act and growing a conscience by it since getting her way, Lyssa whined more, telling me to return the movie because we both never agreed. We could all see me sucking in my noticeable grumpiness but in the end, despite Lyssa literally yanking on my shirt to persuade fair democracy, we rented the movie, for her happiness and benefit of mine.

Getting ourselves some food Lyssa bought some rice crackers and some pasta mix in a packet as I bought some Vienetta Ice Cream.

The Pasta Disaster

Back at my house Lyssa asked me to cook the packet of pasta she had bought. The instructions were clear on the pack and Lyssa didn’t want me to get it wrong. The reason Lyssa bought it was because she was trusting me to cook it properly and considering how picky she is, I didn’t want to ruin it for her. So upstairs I went and mixed in the exact amount of water and milk together and then set it all to boil for ten minutes while stirring every so often.

Near the end of the ten minutes I noticed a burning smell and stirring again I realized that the pasta (Just like spaghetti) was sticking to the bottom of the pot. This pissed me off but as I took it off and poured it into another wooden bowl I knew I messed up. Well, the bottom of the pot (Despite having plenty of water and milk to boil in) attracted the pasta to the bottom and that’s where it burnt. More than three quarters came out but that portion that got stuck and inevitably burnt ruined the smell and taste of the rest of it.

Bringing the food down to Lyssa with plenty of spoons she gave it a taste test then looked at me funny as if she wasn’t going to eat it. This didn’t get me angry at all and if I should have been angry with someone it should have been me. Lyssa tried taking another bite and then mentioned to me that it smelt like it was burnt. It took me a little while to inform Lyssa that I did burn some on the bottom of the pot and as much as Lyssa tried to enjoy the food she just couldn’t take more than three bites.

That didn’t worry me as much as it did disappoint me but Lyssa had her rice crackers and she had half of the ice cream so I was happy. The pasta with melted cheese with milk was what I ate because Lyssa didn’t feel like it. My taste buds don’t care about the burnt taste and to be truthful, it didn’t taste that burnt at all. Lyssa has a very sensitive smell and taste factor, which would explain why she loathes going down on me.
