Hunting for a Banana Fritter
Jumping off at Campbelltown Station when the opportunity finally arose I was a touch late for my bus and for that reason, I headed down Queen Street. With the sidewalk now having been widened and renovated, I made my observing walk to Sydney Fried Chicken to which I stood around, hoping that I could feed my craving for a banana fritter. Daphne and Lavita were behind the counter as well as that blonde I keep seeing in there, the regular crowd. However, after five minutes and many people at the front counter, I decided to take my lone self out and head for another fast food venue.
Heading to the newly opened Subway I was looking for the cheapest item on the menu but could find nothing of interest. With a few minutes to spare, I walked across the street to another newly opened shop, the 7/11. However, as items are always pricey and tasteless amongst their shelves, I walked back outside, feeling hungry and cheated of my food. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that on my way down Queen Street I walked past that Lebanese guy to which I always see in his tobacco shop near the crossing.
This time however I decided to stop and chat as I asked if he was heading to Chevy’s for the night. Revealing that he was married, I wasn’t surprised to find him married to that curly haired girl that I thought was Lebanese but turns out to be Aussie. This is the same girl to which we were heading to the City one nigh and we helped them out with a spider in their car or in Naqi’s car, either one.
What I wasn’t prepared for was finding out he was only twenty and that I along with his girlfriend was around two or three months older than himself. The reason I say this is because he’s a tall boy and looks at least to be 25 years old. Hearing that he also had a baby on the way in the next couple of weeks, he advised me that they were heading to see ‘Life’ for the night and as they were also my plans, I farewelled him and was on my way to oppress my hunger.
The Bus Driver With the Speakers
Waiting in the cold for the bus to arrive when all deeds were done, it was a relief surprise to find the bus driver being that young gun. Looking a touch like Ace and harboring a picture of Ricky Martin on a folder at his dashboard, he had that smile on his face and a pleasant attitude as I boarded. Making my way to the seat, I welcomed his blasting the speakers, or what he could do with the speakers on the train.
Laughing as I shook my head, here was a young guy who probably thought “Hey, I might as well add my little flavor to this joint as long as I’m here” to which he cranked up the volume. Setting the mood for my night as the volume of the songs uplifted me, from his grooves I did create such fallacious moods. Tapping my feet to the beat and figuring it was about time they started livening up the buses, he made me remember him as he does with many other people by being polite and saying “See you later, have a good weekend” as I jumped off the bus.
Keith Tries the Catholic Club
Relaxing upon my arriving home, I wasn’t sure whether to expect Jett to give me a call for the movies or to begin upon my memoirs. Nevertheless, I did receive a call from Jett shortly after settling down to which he noted the night at the movies was still on. Therefore, I had myself a shower, calculated my daily losses and then began upon the road of preparation for the night.
An unfavorable moment of the night arrived around 8:30 p.m. when I received a call by Keith. Sounding defeated even as I picked up the phone, he knew he was trying to squeeze blood out of a stone by inviting me to the Catholic Club. Trying to entice me with the thought that Tyler would be there, I remember telling Tyler how much of a dog Keith was but yet, here he is still heading out with him.
No amount of persuasion by Keith was going to have me head down to the Catholic Club with him and by the news I’ve heard, it was a good choice. You see, what gossip did spread on Sunday about the infamous Keith, Binh is now starting to shed words of Keith being a dog. Explaining how Keith was promising him all the riches over the phone, Binh decided to head down to the Catholic Club only to meet up with Tyler and realize that Keith left after five minutes.
That boy is as vacant as his short attention span when it comes to outings. Trying with faith to entrust us, he undoes his woeful plans by undoing what he does worst. In the midst of sitting at home and hearing something on television about guns I created my own joke. Even if you don’t want to hear it, it should call for some interest, here goes. “What’s the latest Irish invention”, you don’t know, “An Infra-Red shotgun”.
Jewell on the Television
Waiting for Jett to arrive at 9:30 p.m., I started watching the Football game with great interest. However, I don’t know to what night the ‘Profiler’ plays but I do believe that the blonde lady on there is reminiscent to my belief of what Jewell would look like when older. This lady on television portrays all the attributes I think Jewell will maintain. In addition, I’ve always one this one picture in FHM of that chick from La Femme Nikita has looked remarkably like Jewell.
Adding to boot my belief that Kylie Minogue is the spitting image of Jewell, listening to the radio I also derived meaning from a song. Britney Spear’s new single ‘Sometimes’ holds much truth to the way I think Jewell felt in the stages of our going out. It showed the confusion that she created and the fearful repercussions of her being so shy and my being so forward.
Now there are a couple of songs that would be included into a CD had she ever have sent me one in these days. Despite this inconstancy, I hope in the future when my will to do great things arises, I’ll honor the memory of the lost years in the way I described regarding Hyde Park and maybe, even as tributary as a CD made by me and my thoughts upon what songs she would have sent.
Heading to the Movies
When finally I did hear Jett beep out the front, I jumped in the car half dressed up and half dressed down. Jett was wearing tracksuit pants to which were bought from America, looking fairly slick on him as well. Maddox being in the car, I shook his hand and we talked as much as his anxiety would permit. Trying to dress as casual as I could with a touch of my clubby class, I felt a touch overdone with everyone else being casually dressed.
In addition, wearing my worn down shoes, blue industrial pants from Hound Dog, their white singlet top and that black slim-line jacket, I felt in and out of fashion with the mix I was wearing. However, as we jumped out of the car and headed inside to buy our tickets I wasn’t too concerned or didn’t show it anyway. Rather, I was there foremost to have fun with my friends, not to worry about how I looked for all the girlies.
Nevertheless, there was a heap of girls there to impress and one which by my inadvertently benevolence did cling to me at the most of ungraceful times. However, as I have shed too much already before my time, I shall continue with the chronology of the night and then drop the bombshell…
