Dancing Up A Storm

It’s been a long time since I’ve danced up a storm in my room let alone listen to the music aloud. Tonight I caught up with life’s fervency, chucking on ‘Lenny Kravitz’, putting on my new glasses with a beanie to hold my hair in and with only my Adidas pants, I danced up that storm. As to the style of his head flying everywhere video clip, I decided to have a workout as well as a little bit of a dance. This month has been tasteless to the flavor of nightclubs but don’t let that take away from the content this month upon those weekends.

The group is basically a shambles with our group bound interconnected and with a invisible line stretching to Keith, his new involvement with Tamsen has caused the dissipation of the group. Although Keith was just a thumb in a group of postulant fingers, none have direction and all have contributed in some way to our decline. Ralf being a control freak, Keith thinking he’s King shit with Tamsen, Tyler being contemptuous, Shawn riding by the best deal and even myself by being overly eager to the point that people counter attack my zest and branch off into their own actions.

Skirmish Talk With Tyler

Tonight upon arriving home I was informed of two calls having come through. The first being Jett and the second being Shawn, I decided to give Shawn a call back to unfold the nature of his call. Speaking for a intuitive minute, Shawn told me how Tyler had been over his house speaking about Skirmish this weekend. Tyler was to pop over my house later in the night but before he arrived and just left minutes ago, we discussed many a topic.

Details of Skirmish is that thirty people are staged to attend with only two dropouts. Advising me that we were all meeting at Binh’s Bakery store at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, we tried settling the story of car space availability. In this little chat I found out that Binh sold his prized Honda around three weeks ago, for what reason I don’t know. Apart from being a stupid decision as now he has no wheels, that further puts a dent on everyone heading down as the only person willing to drive is Tyler.

Keith is pulling the same shifty shit and because Ralf kept telling Tyler to stop bothering him for the deposit, he done exactly that. Therefore, Ralf probably won’t even be going and if he did, I wouldn’t be in the air of his power hungry dominance. Shawn was the only one to agree on driving down but only if he could get the company Ute for the weekend which would fit two people comfortably and squash a further two.

Diverging from subjects, I asked him what he done last weekend to which he had no answer but to roll his eyes with grief. Taking this pause to note how I haven’t been to clubs for a couple of weeks, preferring the break, I showed him the new attire I bought noting “I guess I won’t get to wear this now”. “Don’t be silly” he remarked, “We’ll go out, I just don’t want to go to Chevy’s again”.

Explaining how he wanted to head into the City, I spun the same story of how it would be a drain to bring along people like Keith and basically, how there were no like-minded people in our group. Tyler seemed to agree that our best night was when we were in the company of Ace and his brother because we were all just grooving away. That seems to be my most favored memory for Chevy’s where I also had heaps of fun at Waves before I started purchasing all this club clothing that’s only been christened at Chevy’s.

Remembering Old Burnouts

“Keith thinks he’s King shit now because he’s back with Tamsen” Tyler remarked as we chided his worth, noting the continually sung tune that no one likes him. Digressing somehow to the days of old, I shed the heartening story of that time we stole the SSS, where Shawn and I floored it to Kentlyn to which we then done burnouts and listened to Keith whinge about how he wanted to strip the back parcel tray.

Standing keen-eared at the door, flicking around his keys, I also mentioned in great detail that second time that I was involved with Naqi’s insurance job, where a beaten down car that barely made the distance to Kentlyn was our target. Intrigued at my display of animation and content upon the subject, he asked how long ago this took place and enjoyed my jubilation of those glory days, now subject to controversy and indolent transition to manhood.

Calls To Jett

Tyler ended up leaving twenty minutes into a hardy talk and as we had discussed all we could about this weekend’s plans and how I should take around $100, he headed back off home.

After my phone call to Shawn I tried calling Jett but because his phone wasn’t responding, I had to wait twenty minutes for him to call me. In this conversation he asked if I wanted to head out to the movies on Friday to watch ‘Life’ with Eddie Murphy to which I accepted. Changing the subject to Sunday, he asked if it was still on and I redirected all information that I knew to Jett who sounded keen. Apart from my speaking a touch upon the game ‘Driver’ and his Playstation memory card bugging, our conversation was through after ten minutes.

Now I am abroad of my thoughts, sitting here upon my pages and knowing that I am a fool to believe that I’ll catch up on my memoirs come this weekend. There will be no chance apart from the few hours after the movie and as I plan to possibly head to the City on Saturday, there will be no consolation there. Sunday off course will be dedicated to skirmish and that night, I predict more than twenty pages dedicated to skirmish upon these pages. There is no rest for the wicked and as usual, tonight and for this continuing month, rest will be wicked.

Missing The Bus

Darting now to the capitulation of Friday, let me begin with the morning and my awakening for the last weekday of work. Waking up a couple of minutes late, I got myself dressed, had something to eat and preoccupied myself with the ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ cartoon on television as I fixed up my hair. Rushing myself out the door half a minute over time, I was kicking myself when I made my way down to the bus stop and heading around the corner into its view, I saw it taking off.

As irritated as this made me, I headed back home to which I sprayed on some perfume and with the few minutes I had left, I headed down to the next bus stop to await the 7:26 a.m. school bus. Figuring that I would have to catch the normal late train at 7:45 a.m., I was surprised to find that I arrived at the station in time to quickly jump on the 7:37 a.m. East Hills train.

Unable to remember the presence of women on the train, I can only assume that with my ceasing to write notes of my trip is just cause to note there was no such ado. Arriving to the station at 7:40 a.m., I made it to work just a minute or two late and grabbing the mail, I was ready for my last day of easeful pleasure and mindful deliverance.

Peace With The Mailroom

Speaking of collecting the mail, with their protesting whinging fresh in mind, I sought to make peace with the mailroom. It doesn’t help when Najla keeps sending her little notes sounding naïve to the fact that she makes them feel stupid and therefore, detesting our views. What makes me more ticked off is how Najla always signs it ‘Administration’ and never with her own name so they probably think I’m the culprit who is demanding of better service at a cost of sounding derisive.

Anyway, just as I was about to head out I noted our intention of trialing the new time of 3:30 p.m. to get out all the mail. The young guy in the vest sounded very enthusiastic and as I headed to the elevator he thought to come out and ask another request while he had my leniency at hand. “Could you please straighten out the addresses in the windows as we get the DX sent back to us”.

This he said to me as the elevator doors opened to which I had already started chatting with Linh, Thao and Rhett. Standing outside of the elevator as he kept chatting to me about requirements, I figured that he had just made me miss the elevator up and as the elevators are really slow, that was an irksome thought.

However, I was surprised to find that in the thirty seconds I was being talked to, everyone in the elevator was courteous enough to wait around for me and at the end of my conversation, I stepped in and looked at everyone’s face with an expression noting their little irks with the mailroom. Chatting with Thao and Linh on the way up, we parted our ways to which I then carried the mail back to our spot in administration.
