Late Train Home

The day ended as per usual as I put on my suit jacket and made my way down in the elevator. Cramming in with the temp lady (in which I helped find filing) and everyone else to the back of us, we made it to the ground floor and then it was a rush to the station for everyone, and just a brief stroll for me.

It didn’t matter if I had caught the first train home or not because I knew I would catch the express train from Central and still make it on time. However, despite my arriving on time at Central Station and still having fifteen minutes to spare, the train ended up being ten minutes late because of air conditioning problems. Sitting next to two girls who were chatting with a couple of people behind them, I tried to get myself a tiny bit of rest on the way home in those comfortable seats.

There must have been at least four or five stops that dragged the time on and in the end I ultimately arrived five minutes late for my normal bus. This hardly pissed me off however, as I walked to the shops on Queen Street, bought two pieces of pumpkin and then made my way to the bus stop to wait until 6:56 p.m. for the next bus. This was a smooth ride all the way until my stop, which got me home at an early 7:10 p.m., so not fussed at all.

Ringing Lyssa About Money

The setting and mood didn’t change much when home but I was a bit more inclined to fill the rumbling in my stomach that my concern of getting home a little later had mass-produced. The rumbling has only now been filled whilst typing in this diary and having breaks, and within that time I also made a couple of calls and Keith came over. The first place called upon getting home tonight was to Lyssa and the main aim was to see if she would meet me with some money tomorrow after work because I knew that if I didn’t ring, that she would just avoid me.

That’s just the way she is, oblivious to obligation. Anyhow, we chatted for a couple of minutes about how Kieran’s best friend was just over her house, and when finally talking about the topic of paying back, the mingling of natters came to an end. “I was actually just ringing to see if we could work out an arrangement for you to pay some of the money for the television tomorrow” I started with but from the get go in our conversation, Lyssa had an awaiting animosity about her voice in regards to my asking that very question.

From then on Lyssa just turned into a spiteful bitch, telling me she was frustrated because I kept asking her questions but I only asked her two questions regarding her paying the money. Anyway, I know that Lyssa won’t pay the money unless I ask her for it, and it’s her attitude when I finally do inquire about the money that pisses me off and makes me wish I never bothered with doing her the favor.

The two questions I asked were “Have you been paid by work yet” and “Can you pay at least fifty dollars tomorrow so I can tell the person that he will be getting money” but those questions Lyssa couldn’t answer without hassles. In the end I didn’t fare any better in an overall answer as Lyssa told me she hadn’t taken her money out of the bank yet (assumedly a lie as Lyssa loves spending) and if Lyssa did take the money out, she probably spent most of it on clothes not bothering to remember the television I so kindly found for her at a good price.

If I didn’t know Lyssa any better I would say that she will try and stiff me tomorrow and if she does hand over money it will either be less than expected or she’ll make me feel inferior for taking it. I can see my benevolence blowing up in my face when Lyssa needs be pay the next payment.

If this happens then I’ll march over to Lyssa’s house and take back the television, handing her back the money she is owed but ff she can calm down her money-hungry attitude and feel as if I’m doing her a favor instead of swindling her money then this deal can be good for her and Keith whilst doing nothing for me as the mediator. There is no reward in it for me, only the joy of seeing her throw spite away with shrew in directions that my amity portrays.

Keith Comes Over

The second conversation came with Keith minutes after as I told him about his getting paid tomorrow, as we then chatted about him handing in my form on Friday. Strangely, Keith was at Tamsen’s house when I rang him and in half an hour he made his way to my house on my request. While here I brought up the topic of handing in my form and from there all the antics of my job, how much money I will receive on my first pay and what I’m going to spend it on as the mean topic of conversation.

Keith also told me that he viewed the Football Game Video and found that I was holding on at least three or four plays. I’ll have to see for myself. Another thing, the guy’s name I think whom I called Ephraim was in fact called Silas from Tyler’s ‘Waves’ Birthday Party. Chatting about our Sunday and both Rochelle and Sasha, Keith commented that he thought Rochelle was checking all of us out.

Rochelle And Sasha Assessed

I’m not sure if Keith was just being as hopeful as I because he loves her so much but now that I think of it she had her eyes wandering and she had that “Hey look at how nice I am” look about her, trying to get male attention by her generous massaging to Tyler, completely oblivious to her subliminal actions. Keith told me that he thought Rochelle was just using Tyler but I think it has a bigger degree of lust between them, then comes the other part.

Sasha also came into play as Keith noted she was a down to earth kind of girl with a great attitude. That’s where we seemed to come in agreement. I got along with her and I would have paid her more due attention if she met my visual preference furthermore. However, seeing that Keith also had the same view about Sasha as I did, I didn’t feel too constricted in thinking those passion-infested thoughts of her.

Keith And Tamsen

Keith started inadvertently speaking about Tamsen and how I might be seeing her on the trains when heading home. It felt to me as if Keith wanted to bring out into the open the reason for his being at Tamsen’s house but I let his conversation drag to see exactly where it was headed. When Keith kept referring to Tamsen and then started upon Min-Su and how she’s filling in for Tamsen, I thought it would be vital to ask what they talked about when he was at Tamsen’s house to put that topic to rest.

As much as I would like to think that they won’t get back together out of personal preference, I think they should put their relationship on permanent hold. They’ve had enough. From where I’m sitting and from what I’ve heard and seen, Keith doesn’t deserve Tamsen just as I didn’t deserve Lyssa but in time he might see (as me with Lyssa) that her attitude and personality wasn’t all that it was cracked up to be.

Lyssa Thinks She Is Better

Lyssa was such a haughty character when I didn’t have a job, choosing not to rub it in my face but using the argument of money and my unemployment against me to better herself whenever possible. Now that I’m working, have good clothes and am going out on the weekends, Lyssa can’t help but to feel resentment against me and that’s half of the reason she’s upped the ante in her stakes.

All I need now is to have a girlfriend and to start anew and Lyssa won’t just be a total bitch and grudge to me but she’ll try and avoid me, and in the same breath, make my life a living hell. Lyssa can’t hack me being better off than her and when I’m below her she can’t help but to think that she’s the better when it comes to us.

Lyssa never cheated on me, Lyssa had the better friends, Lyssa loved me more, Lyssa done this for me, Lyssa done that for me… Ugh, it makes me sick to think Lyssa is above me on all levels when all she does with her haughtiness is bring herself down to that silly prejudice, when, just because she has a job it doesn’t mean she is better than me, especially when measured against me.

Love And Hate

Despite my having been a cheater not having been able to give her the one thing she cares about (money), I tried with my heart to give what those dollars couldn’t afford to do. However, Lyssa was more than ignorant to my acts of love, showing no direct care as I would, keeping in contempt all her hatred for me because of the little things I didn’t do.

To Lyssa, bad deeds would outweigh the good and therefore, it mattered not how much poetry I wrote because it could never for more than a couple of hours erase or even disdain the misdeeds I had done through our time together. Life after Lyssa? Definitely, there is such a thing and I live and breathe in its existence. To say that I loved Lyssa would be true. To say that I love to hate Lyssa would hold more divine a truth.

The ageless love of Lyssa I did love in our erstwhile days but now, in these hours and minutes, I care not for such that hath no care. I would rather fight scorn with scorn, contempt with contempt than hold myself accountable for being the only virtuous to an unworthy.

Star Wars Without Me

My conversation with the Queen of Bitch and loving oneself was over within five minutes, ended on a frustrated tone. Upon putting the phone down I thought to myself “What a selfish, ignorant and self-righteous bitch” who loves to love herself. Since that phone call I haven’t done much but type in this diary but hark, what news befalls me. Tonight Keith, Binh, Tyler and Shawn are headed out to watch the new ‘Star Wars’ movie. ‘The Phantom Menace’ is starting at midnight where all the cinemas will be open to watch it.

It’s a shame I can’t go because I wanted to be a part of history in the making but I have to work; let us not call it work. Apart from that I think it is time for me to sign off from this computer because I have some sleeping to attend to. The time is 10:45 and there is an hour and a bit before they all head for Greater Union and a couple of minutes before I get to sleep.

Nevertheless, because of that stupid Grandfather Clock with modern jingle music playing as if on chimes upstairs, I don’t get to sleep until the 11:00 p.m. bell rings. I can hear it downstairs and it so frustrates me from waking up whilst ten minutes into sleep that it takes me that much time to drift back off. My parents really need to scrap it or at least find a way to disable the sound setting because it’s going to make me as cuckoo as them one day…
