Waiting at the Lights

Arriving at the lights and having already crossed the road, I noticed Linh, Delphi, Rhett and Najla on the other side chatting to each other. I didn’t think Linh would pull through so hard when I said to him in sarcasm “You look after Najla in that meeting” but there he was chatting away and laying his smooth moves. Having not seen me yet, I decided to stick around and wait for them instead of pretending I didn’t see them. However, as they walked over the reception wasn’t too warm.

Linh was preoccupied with his conversation to Delphi and I had to start a lame conversation with Rhett about the meeting just to feel like my wait was worth something. “Where’s Najla” I asked as I couldn’t see her around but didn’t care too much. “She had to go back to work because she forgot her identification card” Rhett explained. Najla has a knack of doing that and she totally forgot her access card on Thursday to which she was away on Friday from work.

Therefore, I wonder how long Najla waited out the front trying to ring me in administration only to find she had to knock on the door anyway. Again, a touch more spite was inadvertently given and the extra load of work today by Najla has so venomously received. With Linh being a smooth Romeo, I trotted along with Rhett who was shedding his spiteful tendencies for feeling left out. Rhett was right as Delphi or Linh didn’t care to speak to anyone else but each other but give the lustful kid a poor break.

A Girl at the Gates

When finally we made it to the ticket gates and Delphi had already walked through, a girl walked up to Linh who looked like she knew him very well. Being a young and short Australian girl with black hair I didn’t look too much into it as I uttered “You were talking up a storm there weren’t you”. Linh looked at me with a stunned gaze as if he didn’t know what I said but at the same time letting out the image that he didn’t want the girl next to him knowing he was talking up a storm.

Clicking that it might have been his girlfriend standing beside him I shut tight my lips as I looked at her befuddled expression and as Linh ushered me one way down the platform, I advised them I had to turn and journey the other way. Rhett didn’t know which way he was going to head which made me ask myself “What if Rhett knows something I don’t know about this girl”.

Rhett finally decided to join me in my little journey despite my telling him that I catch a different train and heading up the platform he jumped on his Granville train as I saw him off and headed some more up the platform. Just some news to relieve possible apprehension, the girl wasn’t Linh’s girlfriend but a school friend from long ago. In regards to his girlfriend, they’ve been together a year and a half but with Linh chatting Delphi up, I’m not sure what his Romeo story is…

A Red Sweater on the Platform

There is only one vivid memory turned vague by deceptive time that I care to remember about my journey home. Standing around for the next ten minutes waiting for my train to arrive, I noticed a girl in a red polo neck sweater tucked under a silk like button top that from my side angle view, showed just enough cleavage through her sweater. Such gentle lips, her brown hair in a perfect bun, warm cheeks, a lathered complexion and a body alike of Jewell’s with the same fluency in precious beauty.

Such slim curves produced by the silky garments of her knee length skirt, gripping so lightly upon her luscious legs. This sight, only within my eye’s reach for a couple of seconds had me begging for more and that is the reason I chose to stand myself up and walk around the platform until I finally found myself a couple of steps behind her in the building crowd.

Completely unaware of me and my desires, I stood there in love with her figure and how she looked a character of charisma yet a quiet girl who apart from her lush clothing fit into the black and white of the crowd. Feeling through my jacket pockets, I sensed the small bottle of chrome perfume I usually carry in my bag and feeling like there was no time like the present to scent my wrists, I tried with one hand to undo the bottle top.

Hassled, I ended up taking out the bottle concealed in the palm of my hands and when placing it back in my pocket opened, I touched a squint upon my palm as that was the only place I could reach. This smaller bottle of Chrome has more of an effect than the bigger one to my liking and as I stood a couple of steps from her, I figured she would have caught a slight whiff.

Sitting Behind Her

When the train did arrive I followed a few steps behind her to climb upstairs and having the opportunity to sit upon the same seat as her, I chose the seat behind her out of fear I would be much too intrepid. Nevertheless, my view from behind was far better than the obvious ploys of taking a glance sitting next to her. Although I couldn’t spark up conversation sitting behind her, I was completely content in just sitting there and gazing upon her thinking to myself “One day I will go out with someone like you”.

I’m sure she would have been aware of my presence judging by her glancing at me once or twice when standing near her, the whiff she took of my perfume and then her glancing at me as I sat behind her. However, the show was over when she finally jumped off at Glenfield and disheartened, I was content upon having seen another wonderment of life that unfolded upon these very eyes to gaze upon and admire.

A Day Spent Indoors

Just a thought of intermission before I begin upon chronology of Thursday. Today, taking a day off from work, speaking to no one and staying dormant within my room is a small reminder of how life was for at least one year before work was found. So far today, no one has called me, I’ve called no one and have not left the anomalous comfort of my room. This is also how I started to put on the weight to which I was at full bloom when at Tamsen’s birthday party.

Work has not only made me lose weight from a controlled food intake but it has also kept me active. Sitting here in my dormant room with this heater at my back, the television screen blankly on waiting for me to change to a channel and this computer screen constantly at my face, it’s no wonder I gained weight when out of work months ago. Today I’ve had a fair bit to eat to which you could call half of it junk food despite it being what mum has bought.

However, today is only temporary and I know that I will be hard-fought for time in these memoirs tomorrow night. However, I am glad for such a great sleep last night and the chance to catch up on my memoirs. With any luck (And having already completed Wednesday), I’ll get through Thursday and Friday’s depiction leaving only Saturday and Sunday to write of. That will be bearable come tomorrow as I have already explained the all of today. Just to add a touch of spice to my day dominantly on this computer, I’ve played the Playstation for two hours in the morning, stopped for food breaks and just watched some television.

The time now is 5:42 p.m. and I’ll tell you, I just wasn’t made to carry from one day to another. It’s too much of a strain to think to conclude one day’s chronology after a couple of hours knowing that you have to do it all over again when done. I’m stuck now with that predicament and that’s why writing in these pages has taken such a long time. Nevertheless, now I shall begin on chronology for Thursday, my work here in intermission is done.
