Chasing My Own Diary

These consummately solicited days and tireless nights constantly keep me on edge when writing in these pages. I remember a few nights ago I mentioned that my working and writing in these pages have not clashed but now with my late entries and sleepless nights the pressure of continuance is starting to clip at my feet. However, I do pat myself on the back for the brave and proper response to these pages.

Instead of just giving in to my desire to have a decent night’s sleep I write in my diary for as long as it takes of a night and I don’t subject myself to decreasing the amount that I write of a night. I remember once also noting that my diary would always be prevalent to work and in this case, my obligation to working has succumbed to my covenant with these pages. Each day I have much to write about and each night I always have something important to do.

That leaves me with only a shortened time on my memoirs but I do increase them somewhat and draw away from my sleep. Just as I watched the State of Origin tonight, writing in these pages is like trying to keep up with a flying winger when you’re on his heels. Each time you go to tap his feet and try to trip him he careens forward and you have more work to do but will still catch him up.

However, you will never exceed that loose winger and the day you finally catch him and tackle him is for the sake of a metaphor, the day I am up to date with my chronology. Nevertheless, there is always the fact that he will play the ball to another player who inevitably will be caught in front of you forthwith of a future play. My diary, my origin and I submit my blithe to the fact that we won tonight, despite it being drawn…

Weekend Plans Pile Up

Tonight I had myself a quick shower after watching the State of Origin which finished right around 10:00 p.m. With thoughts in my head of the prelude to this part of history I rushed out of the shower after brushing my teeth with fresh thought of metaphorical oration. Now as the time is 10:20 p.m. and I should really be succumbing to my lack of sleep over the past week and a half I shall prolong another night with my need to catch up.

Let me just note that this whole weekend will not come any easier than tonight. Tomorrow I have the plan of either heading to see ‘The Mummy’ or heading out to the Gym which will probably be the smarter option since I couldn’t attend tonight. Friday night will then probably become movie night where I hope nothing more will happen so I can catch up in my memoirs before heading out to Kangaroo Valley on Saturday.

Unfortunately, I will be hard pressed to write in these pages on Sunday afternoon when coming back from Kangaroo Valley before I head back to work and please, let me hope that I tackle my chronology by the scruff. Don’t let my late nights drag on for another week. As much as I love to write forthwith I do also love my sleep and although I haven’t been feeling too bereaved I hold onto the thought that more sleep is better.

Leftover Monday Notes

Heading back now to my Monday afternoon at work, there isn’t much really to note apart from more detail. Some tidbits I forgot to mention about my Monday was that Kelsey and I chatted on the way up in the elevator in the morning. I’m sure I would have noted this but I also acknowledged Tatiana who is a Solicitor and is the one that looks like the bosses daughter from ‘Just Shoot Me’.

Near the end of the day Najla and I started talking as we were doing the mail together. One of the topics that arose was how Najla was Catholic and how she played Basketball for what seemed to be her church group. Still teething in our job the both of us kept heading out to Thalia for assistance but I seemed to be the most persistent in my inquiries.

Our parting words must have started sounding gallingly monotonous as in a soft spoken voice I said “Thanks” and Thalia always responded “No problem”, trying to sound quirky in her approach. Despite the both of us sounding underhanded and vapid in our parting I soon shall release myself from the incrimination of being without independence. I have most of it thus far and I have my own two feet to stand on but the day of wean shall be a great day indeed.

Handshake With Linh

Heading to the station at the end of the day with Najla I forgot to mention that Linh came up to me from behind as I was waiting for a train to pull up. Shaking my hand as we usually do now (It’s a western thing showing respect and appreciation) we stood together on the train as we chatted away about work and other subjects.

It sounded to me like Linh was trying to string together a day in which we could have lunch so without him actually saying it I showed the courtesy of saying maybe we should have lunch one day. Showing him my gray shirt and matching tie he found it to be an interesting selection. Nevertheless, Linh tends to have my same flaw that of most times I do have with women.

I find it hard to come up with conversation when it is awkwardly forced upon me or if I force myself to say something. I find that naturally bumping into someone and starting conversation is better than running the risk of being embarrassed for a couple of seconds if you make the effort of the first move. This bothers me when trying to pick up conversation with women as I always think somehow I will be forced into exile from my conscience but lately I have been growing like a slowly blossoming rose to the advent of my confidence.

The Girl On The Train

Making my way to Central Station I jumped off and headed for my express train in the country stalls. Sitting myself next to a good looking girl but making it seem unassuming modesty I kept to myself for the whole trip home. I actually sat in between an older lady and the good looking girl who had an intense split running up her work skirt.

On occasion I would look at her tanned stocking and the split that ran to a respectable length up her leg but as far as chatting to her was concerned, that phased out after the first couple of minutes. I figured that in the first few minutes I could chat to her in which I wouldn’t look stupid or intending and after that, I would be without reason. The beginning to our conversation was going to revolve around how humid and hard to breathe it was.

Figuring that the air conditioning was broken or not working effectively I gathered she would be with the same thoughts but as time past I done none more than be silent. A couple of times near the end of our train trip I was looking as if I was going to talk with her but my mouth opened in spurts but nothing came out. She was completely oblivious to my attempts at conversation and hoping that she would jump off at Campbelltown, like most others, that was not the case.

A Chilly Tuesday Morning

Once home and for the rest of my Monday night I was intently writing into the scriptures that these pages behold. Whomever called or whatever took place would have been well documented on the night and if not, there mustn’t have been too great a deal other than my diary. Monday night I didn’t get myself to sleep until 11:30 p.m. but as I slept almost instantaneously I had no real troubles waking up for my Tuesday morning.

As the trend has now settled itself in this mid-month early winter, the chill was not unbearable. Rather, my room was quite warm, it was just stepping out to have a shower and bearing the cold zephyrs upon my back as I walked upstairs to grab something to eat. Grabbing a usual light snack in the morning of yogurt and two pieces of toast I had to rush in the second half of my morning in order to head out that door in time.

Luckily after fixing my hair and putting on my tiring work shoes (After a week and a half) I headed to the bus and made it by seconds. Becoming a tad later or lazier in the mornings has led me to be ready on the wire and one day that bus will come a tad too early.

Catching my train to work I done what I usually do in the mornings, put my head against the window pane and slept. However, this morning I was having trouble as per my last nauseating experiences in which I had to head downstairs to level myself out. The window pane was too cold and not able to get comfortable I had to use my jacket material between the window and where I was leaning so that I wouldn’t freeze a portion of my head.

Najla Walks Like A Penguin

When finally arriving at Wynyard I jumped off the train and done my usual parade towards work. This morning however when walking to the lights on Kent Street where on windy days it’s like a wind tunnel, I noticed what appeared to be Najla holding some guy’s hand. Figuring that this was indeed the boyfriend she talks often about I was contemplating whether to tap her on the shoulder and just introduce myself to a guy who would as I, probably be intrigued as to who his girlfriend spends so much time with.

Nevertheless, just as I was looking to tap her on the shoulder I decided against it and kept a couple of paces back, giving them their space with my oblivion. One good thing came out of my procrastination. We’ll it’s probably only good for the humor of these pages but I found it amusing to watch Najla walk. About two head lengths smaller than her boyfriend and holding his hand, she was walking like a penguin, her feet waddling slightly, looking awkward in her shoes.

Getting Over Suit Shyness

Let me just note now as we are contemplating body imagine and certain fundamentals. Being out of work for such a long time created a sense of abashed modesty when it came to donning my suit and heading out for my first day working at HIH. When first I walked out my front doors early in the morning I was embarrassed constantly thinking that the next door neighbors were looking out their window and judging me. When at work I had the same susceptibility but as each day has progressed I have increased my confidence in many different angles.

Nowadays I walk out of my house not caring what the people at the bus-stop will think and I am more consciously aware of what positive effect my perfume will have on people. I like dressing up to look good and putting on perfume so that it will give people a sense of favored resemblance to create a limn in their minds. With my attitude coming out and my personally coming out of my shell I have much to look forward to and my old self-conscious ways will be forgotten come a couple of months at work.
