A Man With A Cross
The train trip home differs none to remembrance not already noted except for one key detail cared to be recalled. When waiting for my bus on Thursday at the station there were two girls sitting near. Being two to three years younger than me and being fairly attractive, I thought one of them had an interest for me. Anyway, the guile of the day came when I noticed a guy carting a big wooden cross along on his back, walking up the strip with the cross having a small wheel at the bottom to make it easier to maneuver.
At first I wasn’t too sure what this guy had in his hands but as he passed me and clicked his gums saying “Jesus loves you” I knew automatically that he was a wacko on the loose with a huge wooden cross which he would no doubt be able to hammer himself onto. What amazed me more is how he approached the two girls and a he started talking to them one Indian guy handed them little pamphlet cards with something relating to Jesus, bloody Christians.
What made this event even more hilarious to my sight was that this guy had jeans on and just looked like some nut who chopped down the wooden pyramid at Bradbury Primary school and connected two pieces of their round wood to create his cross. As he placed one of the cross arms onto the ground, he leant his leg across the length of it, making himself look cool as he chatted to the girls.
To me, it just seemed like he was trying to chat them up which made it all the more sad. Inviting them to his church group, the girls were joined by two other friends around the same age. One of them was hot with a puff jacket on and even though she was young, she had an amazing face of purity and cleanliness. This girl was also the one that kept swearing, oblivious to the fact that the guy was leaning against a cross and soon enough, he pissed off.
However, he then came back for more chatter with the girls as I couldn’t help but to turn my head and laugh at his expense. When a bus arrived I stood up to jump on it and oblivious to me, I jumped on the wrong bus. The girls were actually getting on this bus and the girl I thought had a thing for me said hello to me out of the blue.
The Bus Ride Fantasy
The delectable girls at the station looked as if they could be easily be taken advantage of as they were young, rebellious and curious. Therefore, despite my knowing that I would never be able to take advantage of them without worrying about their feelings, I conjured a fantasy of mine on the bus trip back home which raised more than my intentions.
I reveled on the fact that if I had it in me to treat em mean and keep em keen, I would have asked “Do you want to have a good time”. From their obvious response, I would have coaxed them into heading over to my house or in my dream vision, a bachelor pad. In my bid to make them realize my intentions I would note “Wear something that would give these eyes some attention”.
Answering the door in only a bathrobe when they would arrive, I would invite them into my room and announce our intention to play strip poker with a catch. To my advantage of only wearing a bathrobe, the first person to lose gets special attention and treatment for being the sore loser. By this I obviously have the image of them coming over to me and comforting me by some great oral pleasure as well as lots of hands all over my body. It makes me rise just thinking about the possibilities…
Baby Blue Day
With only Friday now to comment upon and it being 11:00 p.m., let me get this dreadful chapter of chronology out of the way for good. Being late to work on Friday morning, I decided to catch the late train after winding my clock forward half an hour and waking up at 6:30 a.m. The reason for this is because I didn’t get a full night’s sleep as I had to rearrange my bed because the sheets were getting too uncomfortable.
Just really quickly about the lesser points of the day. Friday appeared to be Baby Blue day as a horde of people had the same sort of color on. Ranging from Livia, Najla, Thalia, Kelsey and myself, that was enough to consider it a trend. Najla also brought her glasses to work in which she let me wear them now and again. Finding them interesting, Najla had a smile on her face and intrigue as she told me it made me look different.
During our day, Najla told me how she was heading out to camp this weekend with her church group. We also talked of how she had braces ages ago which straightened her teeth and how she used four rubber bands instead of one to speed up the process. “Sure it hurt” she said, “But it was worth it”. That’s where the idea of getting night time braces for myself came into action. Not only do I want white teeth but I also wouldn’t mind having straight teeth.
A Delivery And Linh’s Bad Night
The guy from Discovery who isn’t very smart came to deliver a package for us on Friday. However, as we answered the phone, Reception advised us that the guy was waiting for us with them. Therefore, heading out on a little trek I headed downstairs to the mail room and then back to level two to find Najla waiting there for me. It turned out that the guy was on level five at the new Reception area and as we signed for the photocopies outside I showed him how to use the phone to call us inside.
Just a touch more news of Friday before I get to sleep now and rest these sore glands. Seeing Linh early in the day and near the end, he told me how he only had one hour of sleep from visiting ‘Cave’ the night before. Asking him if ‘Cave’ was any good he told me it was alright and because he didn’t show too much enthusiasm it furthered my not wanting to be a part of Ralf’s persistent plans.
Snubbed By Kalinda
Lucky me, because I strayed from Ralf’s poor susceptibility I also stayed away from a shit night in which Linh was right to throw caution my way. When I headed off for Lunch on Friday I also got snobbed off by Kalinda. Catching the elevator down together I thought to spark a conversation with her but down at the bottom she was more interested in turning a blind cheek than to listening. As she slowed down I gathered she wanted me to leave first so we wouldn’t have to walk together but I might be reading too far into the situation.
Anyway, duplicates and twins alike, Janice and Kalinda are just the same in their snobby attitude. You never know, they could be the same people only one of them is ‘Work Janice’ and the other one is ‘Goon Janice’. Regardless, it is time for me to get some sleep tonight. I’ll finish off the parable of Friday when next I chat in these pages tomorrow after work. Let us hope that I’m not too beaten up for work tomorrow, see you then…
