Contact Lens Horror Story
Digressing again, we started talking about my bid to buy contact lenses and shop around for them on Monday. Lyssa tried to feed into my mind that I shouldn’t buy contact lenses and started upon a tragic story in relation to Penelope. Before I begin this story, Lyssa had a go at me saying that I was always trying to push my opinions onto her. Nevertheless, giving the example that Lyssa didn’t want me to get contact lenses, her protest was a short-lived one.
The reason why I was so opinionated in regards to contact lenses was because I knew I was going to buy them and no little story from the news was going to affect my decision. Knowing well enough that Lyssa is easily swayed by the news into anxious repulsion, it is hard to hold integrity in her words as they are so thinly tied to reason.
Anyway, Lyssa told me how Penelope had to buy some new contact lenses as her old ones were two years old and in her purchasing disposable lenses, she walked home feeling irritation in the eye. Upon arriving home, it got to the point of extreme irritation where Penelope just couldn’t bear the pain and upon seeing a doctor, she was told that a laceration had occurred to one of her eyes.
Taking the contact lenses back to the store in Campbelltown Mall, Penelope was soon to find out that the people had accidentally given her contact lenses that were only examples. Trying on the contact lenses in the optometrist was where the damage began and now as she’s gotten all her money back, everyone except for her is thinking of suing the optometrist. Although the laceration occurred to the white portion of her eye, it doesn’t permanently affect her vision but hell, sue for damages.
The irony of all this is that this optometrist is the same place Lyssa and I visited when the both of us were going out. Wanting to buy contact lenses, I found the guy was rude when we wanted to try some contact lenses on, he hurried the process, wasn’t careful with placing them in my eye and was a nuisance throughout. Just incase you want to head back into the past, he was the optometrist on the top floor of the mall, right next to the skaters shop, near the parking entrance and near the escalators.
Tall Men And Short Men
There were a couple more topics we chatted about in our undisturbed conversation. Firstly, Lyssa thought to note that when the both of us were seen together at the Catholic Club two weekends ago, most people thought that the two of us were back together. I’m not sure exactly who gathered this but I estimate that it revolved around Jonas’s predictions as well as some guy that likes Lyssa. In regards to guys liking Lyssa, through our conversation and my finally finding out the appearance of Ivan, I came to a startling realization.
Ivan isn’t any taller than Lyssa and the stark truth is that Lyssa has never gone out with someone barely taller than herself when she has high heels on. Each person that Lyssa has gone out with has either been her height or shorter. Even the Canadian guy who intimidated my belief that he was some tall guy ended up being shorter than Lyssa so go figure. In regards to Ralf’s being a surfie, he has brown hair as opposed to the long blonde hair I figured he would have.
Two Guys Who Pushed It
Asking an ever elusive question and anticipated query, I puckered up to utter “So who out of all these guys has touched you up so far”. Being as opinionated as I am and disbelieving that Lyssa couldn’t have gone without one of these guys trying to touch her on one of the vital sediments, she let it all spill out. “Well, there have only ever been two guys” Lyssa hushed. “Have all the other guys been gentlemen then” I asked as we progressed into names of who these culprits were.
It’s not too hard to pick out who the two felons would have been but still, hearing that it was Braxton and Ralf, I wasn’t surprised but at the same time, surprised. Probably having heard the story of Braxton before, he tried touching her boobs and fully grabbed for Lyssa’s cha-cha but much to her disgust, she told him to stop which he eventually did. The same applied for Ralf who grabbed without the thought of being gentle, just to the lascivious thoughts in his hungered mind.
Lyssa told him not to touch her there after he tried her boobs first, the first base. However, as most guys are hard of hearing, he tried one more time which was to be his last for the night and all of a sudden, the both of them never talked to each other. In addition, Lyssa told me that Ralf was the only guy that ever intimidated her. When it came to thoughts about a relationship, Lyssa knew that if she went out with Ralf, he would have all the control.
“That would be great, you’s would have the best sex” I argued as she scoffed and then understood my point resiliently. Rather, Lyssa felt intimidated by how good looking Ralf was, how he had the better hair, the great body and the charm to allure anyone he wanted. Lyssa couldn’t compete with him and feeling below him, felt like she would have to buckle to his every whim when it came to commitment, lucky guy. However, I don’t think it would have worked out for them as Lyssa would have kept saying no and he would eventually have shown her the door.
Lyssa’s Night Out With Ivan
The last piece of news that I remember before Lyssa and I talked each other to sleep was in relation to Ivan. Apart from the gibber about Retro, I also heard of the lamer side to Ivan on Friday night. Lyssa told me how she headed to Bradbury Pub on Saturday night and from there she headed to Chevy’s with Ivan, Constantine her sister and some other people. Nearing the end of the night, Constantine jumped in a car with some drunk guy she barely knew for a lift back home.
Beckoning Lyssa to jump in as well she put up a useless stand shouting “I’m not jumping in the car”. Like I would have done if I was the guy, he bantered “Look, if you don’t get in the car I’m leaving” and sure enough, he sped off and left Lyssa to fend off with Ivan. Now there’s where the cynicism comes into play. I believe that Lyssa stayed behind so she could spend some more quality time with Ivan and even though she keeps saying that she wouldn’t be able to go out with him because he’s more of a good friend, I knew her pissed as a fart attitude was a contributor.
With her lift speeding off, the both of them ended up walking to Ivan’s house which was two minutes away from my house. Even though Lyssa was too drunk to realize, she pledged that the both of them never stopped walking and in turn, they never got onto each other. Nevertheless, in the whole journey to Ivan’s house, he kept insisting that Lyssa stayed over, being the misunderstood knight in shining armor as he pledged “Look, you can trust me, stay over tonight, I won’t touch you and I won’t run away from you in the morning”.
Obviously he’s a man in the know when it comes to women in the morning and the horror they feel that they produce. “I could have walked to your house if I wanted to” Lyssa noted, “That’s how close I was” but unfortunately, I would have been asleep at such an odd hour in the morning. Eventually, Ivan gave Lyssa a lift back home that night and that was the end of his urges.
Reading Between The Lines
I might be stepping out on a limb her but as I do know Lyssa and her little persuasions of the mind, I do believe that she is beginning her lecherous tactics with me. By this I mean that Lyssa is getting hot after having gotten onto so much guys, getting her snatch touched here and there. Knowing that I am the only viable alternative to being a slut, I see her calling me habitually now as a sign that she is getting heated.
In addition, when Lyssa blurted out that she thought I was thinking about having sex with her, those were her pure contentious thoughts that her carnal desires had brought up. Lyssa just used that argument to bring up the point of sex out into the open and I don’t want to reveal too much but when Lyssa talked with me on Monday and asked for me to head over to her house playfully so I could cook her breakfast in bed, I knew there was a subliminal message behind it all.
In addition, Lyssa and I held another conversation tonight in which she rang me to apologize for hanging up on me when we talked on Monday. Even though Lyssa eventually gets around to apologies, I rarely expect one immediately after a confrontation. It seems that Lyssa has now gotten accustomed to calling me back again and even though she is so hard in believing that our days are over and that she doesn’t think about me any more, I refer to those sexual instincts created by ourselves, still yearning for some final action.
However, as I am still to believe that Lyssa and I can never have pleasing sex because of the restrictions which will be placed on sex, I am much of a disbeliever to another fling and prefer to procrastinate wildly upon this opinionated belief than to jump straight back into the notion. To jump is to fall flat on your face and to fall flat on your face is to know you have been cheated of good sex after being cheated into sex…
Further to my philosophies and extending from our one and a half hour conversation, I do believe that Lyssa tends to kick me when best I am down. Lyssa tenders to my insecurities in conversations to the point where I don’t want to shed information with her as I know she’ll use it against me some day. For example, how I feel proud of my buying clothes, Lyssa has found a way to turn that against me in thinking I am conceited and lost from myself.
Turning back the clock now a fair distance, when I shed some tears that final time we were both emotional together at a hotel, Lyssa sought to use those tears so to mock me in later arguments, a cheap shot if you may. However, some good comes out of her mocking ways as I now stand to believe that my dress-sense is presumably eccentric as well as fashionable.
Piano And A Party Invitation
Concluding my conversation with Lyssa on Sunday, I started to play Tubular Bells on the piano which was understandably the only tune that I could remember and also the hardest to play. The thought of what mum chatted to me about prior in the day was also playing on my mind. From what mum had arranged, on my 21st birthday, she’s going to buy me a gold chain and dad is buying me the letter ‘T’ for my necklace.
In addition, I took another glance at an invitation letter that Min-Su handed to me when heading to the movies on Saturday night. Min-Su is having a birthday party at the end of this month or the start of next month. I haven’t thought to open the invitation letter yet as it is waxed shut with the same sealant Tamsen used for her cards, only with black wax, morbid. In finalization, as my conversation was concluding with Lyssa, she kept assuring me that she was heading to work for Monday despite her not having to attend.
Taking a day off was voluntary and as only two people were taking the day off Lyssa didn’t want to be that extra. “I don’t want to sit at home when there’s nothing planned to do, I’d rather be at work” she argued. Seeing no reason to this argument, I kept sarcastically noting “I know you’re going to stay home tomorrow”, trying to push my opinionated view onto a susceptible Lyssa.
Noting that I was heading to the City I explained that I would call her for lunch if she was in the City but otherwise, I would give her a call that following morning at home to see if she fell through on her strong will. Well I’ll leave it up to your ingenious assumption to predict whether or not Lyssa stayed home but for all you wayward eccentrics out there, she buckled to my dominating belief.
I knew there was no logic in Lyssa going to work if she had the opportunity of staying home, god knows Lyssa couldn’t even go to College two days in one week.
