Behind On Everything

Hot on the tail of chronology, I value my worth to exceed at least two nights worth, bringing me to an untold Tuesday, at least for tonight. This last month and these past few days have been constant distance from completion when it comes to my diary and I’ve grown to understand that the same applies for work. In regards to filing, I’m starting to get as tardy at work as I am with my memoirs.

There is now a heap of filing piling up for David in urgency to get done and you could say that I am following suit with the urgency I portrayed in my memoirs some weeks ago. However, in relation to work, I’m not merely being tardy but I have Najla to blame somewhat for failing to do her share of obligation. It’s troubles and pressures like this at work which continually grow and never exist to cease that creates a lack of planning being work.

For example, I wanted to head to the Gym at the Bridge Street office tomorrow and I might pack some clothes for the expedition but I know that once the end of the day arrives, I’ll be ill prepared and tired from work. When I get paid on Thursday, I should be well enough to enjoy life somewhat but as this cycle of clothes shopping comes to an end and I’m running out of things to buy, there is not much joy in the art of shopping anymore. As one fad passes in anticipation of next season’s clothing, I will spend that money to saving for a laptop computer and believe me, it will come…

Back To Sunday

Jumping now back to Sunday, much has been amalgamated into these pages. You know of my having a great sleep and waking up around 11:00 a.m. and you know of the last two hours before my entry into these pages but the hours within are vague. Therefore, to explain briefly, once waking up, it was a rush to prepare myself for the Gym in which I left around 12:50 p.m.

For those hours, I mostly watched television, had something to eat and in the final stages, I prepared myself with a shower. Robbing myself in the desired attire, I took enough money to pay my way into the Gym and also some extra money to splurge on some after-workout protein food from the shop. When the time was upon me, I headed down to the Gym with my hat on and dressed inversely to the flashy contents I would usually portray now.

Chest Day

Greeting Maddox who was sitting behind the counter as usual, I said my hello’s, walked down the stairs and then without a warm-up, quickly began with my workout. Again, the whole boy was worked out, giving a touch more emphasis to the Chest than any other body-part and weighing in at 76 Kilos, I was rather happy with my weight. To speak now of my workout at the Gym, let me cross to the Gym dialogue…

Chest: A light workout consists of light description, quick and simple. The energy and the zest to work out with full ability just isn’t there therefore, neither will the enthusiasm in words. These workouts are just to get me accustomed to the Gym again and as the momentum builds, this firm base will have been important to future growth. Starting with two warm-up sets, my first real set was on Bench Press with 130 pounds and 10 reps.

From there I created 15 reps on Peck Deck Fly’s with 120 pounds and moving to Decline Dumbbell Press with 50 pounders, I managed a moderate 12 reps. Seated Machine Bench Press was next and with 140 pounds I pushed out 10 reps to which I lowered the weight to 120 pounds and pushed out a further 5 reps. Finally, moving to Pullovers with 60 pounds, I managed 12 reps on my finale.

Deltoids: Beginning with an exercise for the Trapezius, I used 50 pounds on the Machine Upright Rows and pushed out 15 reps. Seated Dumbbell Press was next and with 35 pounds each side, I managed a fairly easy 12 reps.

Biceps: Warming up with Preacher Cable Curls, I lifted the weight up to 50 pounds and surprisingly achieved 8 reps without assistance. With my Biceps still having most of their former glory, I moved to Alternate Dumbbell Curls with an inclination to perform hammer curls and with 30 pounders, I pushed out 20 reps. Triceps Pushdowns were performed for one set with 50 pounds and 15 reps. The last exercise was with Reverse Cable Curls and preparing up the bar with 35 pounds, I performed 15 reps.

Back: Starting with 120 pounds on Neutral Grip Lat Pulldowns, I managed 12 reps but awkward ones at that. Wide Grip Lat Pulldown was and after some experimentation, 100 pounds seemed to be the magic number for 12 reps. One Arm Dumbbell Rows was the last exercise for the back in proper style, with 60 pounders, performing 12 reps. There was one more set of Machine Lat Pushdowns with 180 pounds for 20 reps so I guess we’ll have to include that now.

Abdominals: Completing one set on the Machine Leg Press and one set on Lying Leg Curls, I started on the Machine Ab Crunch as the music stopped and it was time to head home. In this short span of time, I managed to notch up two sets of 35 reps using 40 pounds and once all was complete, I said goodbye to Zubin and was on my way…

Wrong Chinese Order

Heading to Bradbury Shops, I decided it would be a good idea to get some Chinese food, I just wasn’t certain on the exact dish. Standing around, I figured I could either get the Chicken pieces in honey sauce like Keith had bought ages ago or I could get my usual sweet and sour chicken with boiled rice. Deciding upon the first order, I quickly changed my mind as I handed over my money, confusing the lady behind the counter. When I figured I had gotten my order straight, I walked around outside for a little while gathering some sun and when all was complete, I headed back inside and took my food back home.

It wasn’t until a couple of minutes after I had rested my limbs that I realized, the food from the Chinese shop wasn’t what I had ordered. The lady had given me the sweet and sour chicken but had substituted all the boiled rice for a ton of sweet and sour stuff. Contemplating on heading back down to the shops to get my proper feed, I decided against the hassle and just ate what was a fair meal but not fulfilling enough.

Dusting Off The Piano

For the next couple of hours I watched some more television, had a shower and just laid low. That is, I stayed low until I was given a call midway through my self-portrayal. Actually, pausing from my memoirs for around half an hour, I got the sudden urge in my boredom to start playing the piano. Dusting off the piano with at least eight tissues cleaning each and every note on the keyboard, I plugged it in and was rearing to start playing.

Unsure on exactly what I would remember and how much I would be able to learn in such a short span of time, my concentration was bothered by the ringing of the phone. Just as I was about to sit down and start playing the piano, the irony of someone obstructing my calling was evident. However, having that sixth sense and knowing that no one else would call around that time on a Sunday, I answered the phone pleasantly and softly spoken from my relaxed mode.

Our conversation presumably started at 9:00 p.m. and after controversially hanging up on me once, our conversation ceased at 10:30 p.m. This obviously gave me shit all time to write in my diary as I had started to feel fatigued from my meal. That reminds me, if I start eating what is in front of my eyes now, then it will surely be a short passage tonight.

Lyssa And Our Usual Fight

The conversation was a lengthy one, without a hint of any prior deep and meaningful palavers but with a constant dominion of colorless conversation. By this, I mean that we were much reciting our weekends, myself adding my opinionated views and emotions which created a stir and eventually an argument. At times, it felt like our zombie-like chatting was more along the lines of a drone to which we were obligated to speak without such enthusiasm.

Lyssa and I were in between every emotion, where we weren’t acting happy but we weren’t sad, without too harsh an anger but straying from the pull of clemency. As per our usual conversations, it was a confusing hour which was pretty straight forward. There was much new facts realized from a toned down flamboyancy but still, much bigoted views from myself.

As you will probably hear and come to understand in these next passages of text, I do tend to be opinionated in my views, never yielding to my beliefs and because I am so headstrong, confrontations usually occur. However, I believe in what I say and most of the time, Lyssa puts forth a weak defense for the sake of contradicting my view. Lyssa and I have always been on opposite sides of the fence for most things. Money, sex, respect and now apart from the infinite possibilities of contradiction, opinion…

Retro Night Ruined

I believe the conversation started without the usual direction but somehow, as Lyssa’s night was brought up, the thicket of loathing began. Lyssa is direly fickle when it comes to her temper and who she likes or hates on any given day. You’ve heard the examples of her past flings and how she thinks some guy is hot on one day but if you talk to her about the same subject days down the track, the same guy’s a piece of shit and old news.

However, a few days later, Lyssa would change her mind once more, it just never stops. Therefore, I didn’t find it surprising when Lyssa told me that she hates Naqi and Penelope for being so weak around him. As the story goes, Lyssa had her Saturday night at Retro ruined by inviting Penelope and Naqi along. For the whole night, Naqi didn’t look like he was enjoying himself, always having an angry look about him. This rubbed off onto Lyssa somewhat and it also affected Penelope greatly.

“I just can’t understand Penelope” Lyssa cried, “She has a strong will with everything she does but when it comes to Naqi, she’s feeble and just shuts up when its his turn to speak”. The reason why Lyssa was so pissed off was due to the fact that Naqi wanted to leave at midnight, one hour after they had arrived. As much as this pissed Lyssa off, it irritated Lyssa all the more when Penelope buckled to Naqi’s will, disregarding the fact that she was there with her friends.

Just before Naqi decided to be a bastard Lyssa was approached by some guy who asked if she would like a QF to drink. “What drink is that” I asked Lyssa who was forbearing to note that the drink was a ‘Quick Fuck’. Lyssa didn’t like the guy at all but pulling Penelope aside as they were leaving she asked “Look Penelope, can you stay for a couple more minutes, this guy wants to buy me a drink”. Almost instantly, Naqi turned around and yelled something that Lyssa couldn’t quite understand but she can remember that the words “Bitch” were uttered.

Lyssa believes that Naqi shouted “Stop being a slut you dumb bitch” and as Naqi left, Penelope didn’t apologize, just bowed her head and walked out with him. Although Lyssa was there with Ivan, Constantine and her sister, she only stayed until 2:00 a.m. which disappointed her because Constantine stayed there until 6:00 a.m. For the whole night, they were playing Retro music from the 80’s, songs like ‘Girls Just Want To Have Fun’. Lyssa was having a great time, that is, if you exclude the dishonor of Penelope.

For one to be another’s friend, you would have to stand up for each other but Penelope has lost what once were the balls in the relationship, bowing down to Naqi’s every little whim, pathetic. I feel sorry for the woman, knowing that he’s been cheating on her, probably thinking that the fucks he’s had with those sluts at strip joints were better than anything he’s had with Penelope. Sad boy, I hope Penelope still hasn’t given away her virginity because that would be a poor move on her behalf to keep the relationship adrift.

Who Holds The Power

Changing the manner of the conversation, we digressed to the subject of domination and the effects it had on both Lyssa and I. Evolving to a philosophical perspective of my own, I noted how I was the type to bottle everything up and thus, as Lyssa was the opposite, substituted for her bottle was an always ignited fuse. Lyssa regarded herself as a person who yearned for domination but when it came to our relationship, she agreed that we both had equal authority and influence.

However, where I lacked in some categories and excelled in others, Lyssa would be the same in our malleable little strait. Through my opinions, we both agreed that Lyssa tried to be more dominant in which we both gathered this meant I never got what I wanted as Lyssa never wanted to be adventurous. Where Lyssa dominated in the bedroom in regards to criteria, I dominated when best it came to performance but as most times, I longed for her affectionate touch, some domination over the situation.

Therefore, she did have a say on what happened but never enough of a say to actually please all my desires. In truth, all I really wanted was for Lyssa to give me oral sex as much as I gave to her as well as take control of the initiation once in a while, that’s not much to ask is it…
