Smile for Me

The only other thing that majorly pissed me off was the repugnant girl, hanging around like a bad smell. Near the end hour of the night she made her way next to me on the dancefloor, obviously having had too much to drink. As she began to talk to me, she got very much on my nerves as she repeatedly said “Smile”. As if I wasn’t down already, I didn’t need someone in my ear telling me to have a good time and people like that piss me off.

What’s more, when she noted that my smile was cute, it pissed me off all the more. Deciding to stretch the fibers of prothane freakishness that would make the arbitrary seem scandalous, nightmares almost came to life for me that night. The repugnant one began dancing in front of me hornily, deflating my will to dance. Posting myself against the wall with a bit of step in my leg, she uttered “Come on, why aren’t you dancing” frustrating me more by asking me to smile.

Elusive as I was, I couldn’t shake the repugnance from her evil grasp as she honed in onto my outward bent leg. There was just enough man meat there for her to spread her gory legs and begin her lap dance fanatics which made me close to puking. Nevertheless, being too immobilized by fright to move and too polite to brush her off, I just stood there motionless, hoping that the snake would just rattle a couple of times and then slither away. However, as he slimy dancing and the feel of her hips thumping over me carnally, I knew something had to be done.

Shuffling Her Along

“Why don’t you dance next to me” I asked her and as she looked at me frustrated and inconceivably, she huffed and puffed and stood next to me, motionless as myself. Making me now look bad as if I had rejected her, I didn’t want everyone else looking at this horrid beast with sympathetic feelings, granting she even had emotions amongst the equally male population.

Leaning over again I whispered “Why don’t you just dance over there and let me just stand here and rest” I asked and with that she picked herself back up. However, to my loathing heart of feeble tolerance, she began again on my infected leg from a prior slithering of venomous might. Leaning forward again I sternly asked “Look, just stand next to me and dance there”.

Figuring that she got the point, she done almost to the syllable of what I had asked and as I felt the comfort of her leaving me alone for a couple of seconds, I still hadn’t rid her yet. Despite her making her way over to Tyler and Binh to dance with them, the both of them looked at me as if to say “Oh no, she’s come to us, help”. All I could do was complacently grin, knowing I didn’t have to deal with my fears for a little while.

The Girl on the Stage

Soon after she finally left the three of us and at the time, her dancing up on my leg was really bad recognition. As I was leaning against the wall, the girl from my first visit to Chevy’s weeks ago who looked like a cross between Sienna and Phoenix was dancing right next to me. Having something permanently attached to my pelvis wasn’t exactly my idea of charmingly innocent so that’s why I tried avoidance and then praised my luck when she left.

Friday night was looking good for me as this girl danced near me for the remainder of the night. It seemed that everywhere I headed she would always be next to me or in front of me. At one stage Binh looked at me and uttered “There you go, dance up on her” as she was directly in front of me. However, there was an important reason why I never tried anything. Right in front of her there seemed to be a guy that was always with her on previous occasions.

This seemed to be the guy that yelled at her when first she danced with me and I figured it was her boyfriend. Her blonde friend had left her alone and to her own devices for a long time, giving me the impression that she was trying to attract my attention. Nevertheless, I am always bad at perception so what I say could obviously turn out to be the opposite.

However, I am set on the belief that she liked me and I was going to tap her on the shoulder and start our first words of conversation but because I liked her, I wanted to make them a little more memorable than just “So, you’re friend’s left you alone”. At the end of the night when we were all leaving, I glanced at her sitting on the stage with all her friends, eyeing me as I left Chevy’s. This was an infallible assurance that she had her eye on me for the night. She was just as cautious as I was for the night so let’s just hope we meet again soon.

Rory and Daffa Dance

Just some more notes before we ended up leaving on the last song. Through the night, Rory and Daffa also graced my presence up on the stage for the night. Shaking my hand, I watched the both of them dancing near the front. Rory looked alright as he danced but like the guy nicknamed lollypop who looks like a little mommies boy with his blonde hair and gay dancing, Daffa wasn’t faring any better.

Unsure on how to explain Daffa’s dancing technique, let me just note that it was very uncoordinated despite it being to rhythm and he looked like he was taking long strides in an aerobics class from side to side. Most of his dancing was from the 80’s and as he kept looking back at me on occasion, I figured that he wasn’t all too comfortable dancing. In addition, the white tracksuit top and white with blue pants he was wearing didn’t flatter his dancing at all.

To say the least, he looked like between a try-hard and a dork, you’d just have to see him. Other people that I saw through the night were most of the Lebs, Yunus, the black guy selling E’s, Ziad, Mazin and Salib. I’m sure there would have been more faces and celebrities but as the lights came on and I took back my jacket from the lovely blonde, I had forgotten my remembrance of such a shabby night.

Chicken on Queen Street

From Chevy’s, Binh, Tyler and I made our way down Queen Street, heading to the Catholic Club parking as that is where Tyler’s car was parked. Freezing as I was on the way down, when we passed KFC Tyler told me that I could buy some food if I wanted and the both of them would come down and pick me up. Figuring that he allowed this because I was freezing, hungry and coughing every twenty seconds on the way back to the car, it would have been more comfortable for me to do so.

Therefore, heading to the service window, me and this guy chatted to the bird in the window as I ordered a two piece meal. Anders was there with a couple of mates, sitting on the steps and just chilling. Somehow we got into a sarcastic bid to see how much one of the girls was worth, going from $2 back down to $1.50 in an auction style bid led by Anders himself. When I had my food I made my cold way down to the curb of the road where Anders and the rest of them were sitting.

The guy who was with me at the window handed me a piece of zinger chicken, saying that he didn’t want it anymore. Knowing that Tyler wanted me to buy him something, this seemed fitting as the guy and I talked until Tyler showed up. When he did, Anders ran to his car with another guy yelling out his name in praise. However, I feel this was a coy for Anders to get a lift home and as it worked, the two of us jumped in the car and off home we headed.

Talk of Saturday night was in the air and to my knowledge, plans were still readily available. However, as you would have already learnt, plans were broken because Tyler had to stay home on mysterious circumstances, Shawn didn’t want to catch a train and I hadn’t called Nero yet. That early Saturday morning I got myself to sleep around 4:00 a.m. and the rest is well documented.

That my avid readers is the end of such a tormenting stretch of chronology. Some thirty or more pages just for one night, and you’re yet to hear of my Friday at work. Until tomorrow, I shall vacate these pages, having to speak of Thursday, Friday, Monday and tomorrow’s episode of uncertainty. All that I know of tomorrow is that I’ll most probably be sick, I’ll be laden with backlogged work and I’ll have lunch with Linh. Apart from that, I say my farewells now, knowing that I will definitely be here to make amends of the wrought business before me.
