Lyssa Stays The Night

These nights typing upon these pages are beginning to exceed my ability, drawing out chronology furthermore. Today I even went to the length of having an apathetic day as so I wouldn’t have as much depiction to write here. Alas, the day did have too much hours to be without interest and therefore, I have another night of scripture in this listless capitulation of discontinuance. As I have so much chronology to speak of beginning with mid Saturday’s epic, I shall note only two things thus far.

Firstly, Lyssa and I have at least one thing in common, we are equal in thought and emotions to each other. Last night, the last thing that I wrote in these pages is how I wanted to have Lyssa sleep over so that we could grant rebirth to a scorned day and so that I can make Lyssa feel better.

Lyssa did come over last night with Nikita as she had planned but instead of just having a hug out the front Lyssa waved goodbye to Nikita and told me that she was staying for the night. However, Lyssa and I didn’t take advantage of the situation or each other. It felt good to have her sleep next to me again and although I was practically hard all night, we never felt obliged to embrace each other fully.

The way I figure, having sex or even kissing Lyssa would have overstepped a line. The both of us have moved on from each other, the love is gone, even the lust is disappearing. Now I feel the maturity of controlling myself around her in that we can be friends without the fooling around. Sex would have ruined last night because I know it wouldn’t be up to my expectations and therefore, the craving is much better. Anyway, now to chronology as fast or slow paced as I achieve, then, maybe to philosophy…

Boots On Goulburn Street

Recommencing on a long disappeared Saturday afternoon, let me capitalize on the rest of our journey in the City. After traveling up and down Oxford Street and basically finishing our first leg, we headed down Goulburn Street. There were two shops in particular that I wanted to check out there, the first being Raben Footwear. Heading inside I made my way fondly towards the tall boots that zipped up to the knees.

Despite their being for women I asked the person behind the counter again if I could try them but again they didn’t have my size. As the lady told me that they imported that boot from France most stockers wouldn’t bother going to those lengths to make a sale, I guess she meant herself as well. Shawn was busy looking on a far wall which I hadn’t seen before and as I made my way over he showed me the shoes that I thought were attractive.

Having seen them in countless other stores but unable to find my size, I found the same problem in this store. Basically, they were a sneaker type club shoe with a white sole, black shoe and a Velcro strip folding over a wide tongue. There were two shoes almost identical except for one thing, one shoe had the brand name ‘Skechers’ on it basically signaling it out as a woman’s shoe. With the disappointment of not having my size shoe I headed out across the street on Goulburn to my next store, ‘The Changing Room’.

Beret And Shiny Pants

Whilst in the changing room which was co-joined to a hairdresser shop I sought to firstly try on the beret style club cap. The Asian lady behind the counter didn’t have a very good command of English but we got along fine with basic know-how. As I tried on the Beret Shawn also found himself some pants that he thought were cool and I guess he also got enticed by the 20% off reduction.

Tamed by the end of tax year sales I also noticed hot pants that I’ve always wanted to wear. Figuring there was no time like the present I tried on the pants and a cool ‘Mook’ shirt which was black and looked like it had three diagonal rips across the front of the shirt which were totally straight and were then sowed up with a flap hanging off the top of them.

The pants were a bit long on me and the shirt felt way too tight on me but as I put on my Beret I headed out of the change-room to swap opinions with Shawn. Shawn couldn’t fit into his pants and I was finding it hard to breathe in the tight shirt but I received good vibes for the pants and Beret. The pants were excellent, being black and having a split on each leg for a couple of inches.

The pants themselves were shiny like leather but not as pricey, hard to explain. Anyway, after some deliberation and being told that they were the last pants of that kind in the store (And the only size too) I decided to put a small deposit on both the Beret and pants. Finding it hard to communicate with the Asian lady we agreed on a $44 deposit in which I would now only have to pay $90 for the items, Thursday baby.

Nitrogen At Town Hall

The second leg nearing completion as we headed down George street. Stopping off at a shop right in the arcade of Town Hall called Nitrogen, Shawn had heard of this place beforehand. It was also his idea for the both of us to stop here and check out the items of clothing and fashionable styles. As Shawn made his way deep into the small shop I stopped and surveyed the shoes on parade.

Finding no shoes of real interest I headed out to find Shawn who was looking through the racks, trying to find himself some pants to buy. Thus far Shawn was only getting warmed up to putting on clothes and as it was his second leg, he had to unleash at least one spurt. It finally came as I was trying on a bucket hat, Shawn picked up a black and yellow bears jacket and the rest is now history.

As soon as he put it on he fell in love with the jacket and as it only cost $100 he decided he couldn’t go past buying it. In addition, it was a windy day outside and Shawn didn’t want to freeze any more than he had to. As Shawn was considering buying his jacket he tried on some pants to match. In that time I started to fall in love with a combination of accessories I had tried on.

The first was the DKNY bucket hat which I had tried on by itself and then asking to look at some Black Fly’s glasses that were metallic gray, I just loved the look. It made me get down and boogie in the store, unleashing hip moves and walking around like I was part of Run DMC’s music video. Shawn ended up buying his bears jacket, I ended buying the DKNY bucket hat and we both left the store happy.

Bucket Hat Debut

The third leg was at hand as we made our way into the QVB. Before we entered I decided to try on my new look by putting on the bucket hat and when we headed downstairs Shawn put on his bears jacket at the bottom of the stairwell. The bucket hat was originally seen on an Asian when we were in Central Station Records on Oxford Street. Noticing that the bucket hat was made by DKNY I was intrigued for the rest of our trip in the City where to grab ourselves some stuff from DKNY, I guess we found it.

Heading into a Levi’s shop on Shawn’s request the both of us had our new looks on. There were a couple of people that would look at me with intrigue which made me feel all the more unique and watched. Usually Asians would be wearing bucket hats but to see someone like me wearing one in the club clothes I had on, it is a fair bid different, helping me stand out. Taking a gander at pants and glasses in there Shawn spotted some work-looking pants but I soon coaxed him into leaving such randy designs behind.

Downstairs we checked out the immediate woman’s shoe store in which I walked in and asked if they had men’s shoes. The lady assistant looked very helpful and taken by my new look as she informed me the shoes were mixed but were mostly for women. “Have you tried Antine upstairs” she asked and having been there before to no avail I thanked her for her assistance and headed to the next shop.

Each second shop in the QVB we walked past I would notice a sale, a hot chick or some fashionable clothes and pause in the middle of the walkway moaning to myself. Shawn must have been getting tired of my continual pausing for my own fashionable conscience but I can’t help loving fashion. Shawn held together quite comfortably throughout the day and the only time he looked persistent in heading home was when the shopping was all done.

Another shop we tried out in the QVB was another Urban Edge. However, this time around I tried on a beautiful dark electric blue pant which changed tones when you turned in the light. They were magnificent but unfortunately, they were a touch too large for me. Shawn also wanted to try them out but he never got his chance, lost interest. The next shop we tried hard looking for was ‘Wanted’, she shoe store which definitely had shoes I was eager to buy.

Skechers At Wanted

Making our entry after walking the halls two times over we finally found it on a hidden first floor. The girl was there from when last I tried the shoes on and she was somewhat taken back by how I was dressed. As Shawn looked around at the different kinds of shoes I tried on the shoes I had been trying on throughout the day, the black ‘Skechers’ shoes.

Having my size I wasn’t too wrapped about the $130 price tag but it seemed this was the only place I was going to be able to find my size. There were shops were the shoe would cost under $100 but they either didn’t have my size or my color. Trying on a second pair of shoes I walked around in them, asking Shawn for his opinion.

Not only did he figure the ‘Skechers’ shoes were more attractive but I felt great walking around in them despite being so elevated. Therefore, it was settled, I was going to buy the ‘Skechers’ shoes but I was still eager to find a bargain. The lady told me she could hold them only for one night but I decided against that option as it would be rather useless. Seriously, how much guys are going to head in there and buy shoes intended for a woman, asking for a size nine… I figured that much.

Pitt Street And Hound Dog

The fourth and final leg of my window shopping extravaganza in the City was my heading to the main segment of Pitt Street. The first shop Shawn and I visited was Gas Station in which we only breezed through. Showing Shawn a good looking zip up jacket and a club shirt he wasn’t too fascinated by the fancy design despite the price. Heading into a second Levi’s type store Shawn checked out rows of clothes like everyone else there for the sale as I just roamed around with my new bucket hat, playing the part.

Somehow, with that bucket hat on I felt more aware of myself and less self-conscious. I guess hiding your eyes behind a low-riding hat would give you confidence to change how you would normally act. I didn’t change too much, I was just a touch more eccentric and on-show as it seemed most people were looking at me and either saying “He looks good, I have to get that” or, “He looks different”.

In the middle of our forth leg the most vital stage or our travel had arrived, the two main Hound Dog stores on Pitt Street. Passing through the Hound Dog near HMV first I didn’t feel all too comfortable standing in their store with all their clothes on. They must have thought I had no life but to dress in their clothes but I had purpose, to try on shoes and have my style available.

Picking out a couple of items for Shawn he headed into the change room with a shirt like mine and a baby blue shirt he adored. Grabbing himself some pants also I waited patiently outside his door as he showed me his new clothes. The clothes looked great on him but the pants themselves were missing a main button and they didn’t have his size shirt. Therefore, we had to leave empty handed but with an idea of what he wanted to buy so we could head to the other Hound Dog in Imperial Arcade.

One of the assistants in this store was a beautiful dark tanned girl with black hair in a ponytail and a great body. She didn’t look too extraordinary but it was just her silent charisma that shined through, that and the skin that was showing near her cleavage. Again, she didn’t have the greatest sized breasts but it was a conjunction of her skin, breasts and a Chinese symbol tight singlet that made her look scrumptious.

As Shawn tried on some more clothes I kept my eyes firmly planted on her for most of the time in the shop. As she glided around the store to assist people I looked from the bottom brim of my bucket hat at her ass moving ever so gracefully, so petit, so delicious. Shawn ended up buying his baby blue shirt and tight black pants of the exact cut as my first pants from Hound Dog. It ended up costing him around $100 and with this last sale of the day, he broke even with how much he wanted to spend.

Ordering Shoes From Cobra

The day of shopping wasn’t as yet over, we still had a touch more to partake on the way home. For my benefit and Shawn’s we decided to head into ‘Cobra’ so that Shawn could check out some more items of interest. If it wasn’t for Shawn deciding to walk into ‘Cobra’ in which I had walked away from there before, I wouldn’t have been able to find the cheapest bargain due to large sales. Finding myself the black Velcro ‘Skechers’ shoes I asked the lady assistant casually if she could bring me a size nine.

There was a big notice that mentioned that all shoes were 60% and reading that the shoes cost $160 I wondered if it had already been slashed. As the assistant asked at the counter for me I was ecstatic to find that the shoes would only end up costing me $50. With this excitement running through my veins I asked eagerly to try the shoes out but fell into a pit of disappointment when I was informed they didn’t have my size shoe.

The whole celebration almost came unstuck but because of my persistency, I will still pay a small amount to buy exactly the same shoes which would have cost more than double. The lady told me that they had a Parramatta store and after some persuasion I had her order it into the Sydney store for me. As she rung up Parramatta Shawn and I looked around, myself with a content smile on my face. When the call had been concluded I wrote my details down and was told that the latest they would come in would be Saturday.

This is great however as I get paid this Thursday so ‘Skechers’ here I come. At least I know they’re living up to their word as today I received a call from Cobra at work. They informed me that there was trouble in transit where most items were lost. The lady was just trying to confirm what I had ordered in so she could get it there soon. Therefore, they are meeting my demand and I will have club shoes by the end of this week.
