Home at Dawn Without Keys

From St. Johns Road I started to walk home slowly with blisters on my right foot from the new shoes. Just one street from my house it started to sprinkle and it was a great feeling just before I got home, it cooled me down. The time was 5:30 a.m. when I came to my front door and once again I didn’t take my keys so I was somewhat stuck.

Checking the back door it wasn’t open so I had to continually knock on the door lightly for a couple of minutes until my mum woke up and opened the door. Once home I started typing away on my computer the facts of the night and after having something to eat and watching television I thought it was time to get to sleep. The time was around 7:00 a.m. when I finally got to sleep. I was thinking of calling Lyssa at that time in the morning because she gave me a call during the night.

Well that was my whole night of new years eve and I still have to speak of when I woke up but now the time is 4:00 p.m. and I have to head for the Gym to have my workout. Today I’ve officially run out of Creatine but in reality it was finished on the last day of last year.

Well, I’m more at ease now that I’ve talked about that long night of events and I’m happy that my first day of the year was a good one. Tonight Lyssa is coming over to sleep being the second night of the year. Let’s just hope I can finish off my chronology of yesterday’s events when I come back from the Gym.

Back From the Gym

Saturday 7:00 p.m.

Back from the Gym and from a tiring workout I am here once again to tire my fingers. I’ve already had a shower and my large after-workout meal to eat, now this is the only thing left before Lyssa comes over tonight. What I’ve noticed in all of my workouts at the Gym is that I sweat profusely. In this I mean I can’t stop dripping and on most exercises my face has usually turned red after ten reps. Whatever the reason is I come home with a drenched towel all the time.

Last night I got to sleep at 4:00 a.m. tired from typing in my computer and previous early sleeps at Lyssa’s house. For this reason I had a great sleep and woke up today at 12:30 p.m. Upon having a shower and something quick to eat I started to write in my Diary as a form of catching up and that I did for the whole of new years eve. Now I still have to write about yesterday and how I spent half the day with Jett but before I do that let me write my day at the Gym as only I can…

Pulldowns and Sore Triceps

Back: Having to workout within 45 minutes I completed my two minutes warming up on the bikes and then headed for my first set of back exercises. Wanting to change around my routine I started with my rowing exercises first and then to my pull-downs. Warming up on Neutral Grip Lat Pulldowns with 100 pounds I performed 12 reps. One more warm-up on Seated Cable Rows with 80 pounds and 10 reps was enough stretching.

Moving straight to One Arm Dumbbell Rows with 80 pounds I performed 12 reps per hand. After a rest I picked up the same weight and performed another 12 reps per hand, it was strenuous. With my back already pumping I began on my Seated Cable Rows. Pushing the weight up to 140 pounds I performed 10 reps and taking a small rest I repeated my performance of 10 reps. Moving to Lat Pushdowns I loaded the weight to 220 pounds and completed 10 reps.

Now moving to Neutral Grip Lat Pulldowns I found it hard to finish 10 reps with 140 pounds, so much that I was doing three quarter reps near the end. Moving to Close Grip Lat Pulldowns with 140 pounds I completed 10 more reps. Decreasing the weight to 120 pounds I performed 10 more reps. My last set was on Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns but with a Reverse Close Grip as I usually do them now. I was on the harder weighted machines and for that reason top weight was 70 pounds for 10 reps.

Triceps: This body-part was a bit different. Starting on Triceps Pushdowns with 35 pounds I performed 12 reps. Taking the weight up to 75 pounds I managed with fair ease 12 reps. Moving now to Overhead Dumbbell Extensions with 60 pounds I performed 12 reps narrowly completing the last rep. My last set was with Triceps Kickbacks and having to start on 15 pounds with a dumbbell I could barely complete 12 reps, it was hard.

Abdominals: There were only a couple of minutes for Abs and the music turned off halfway through my second set so I just stopped there. I only completed 2 sets of 30 reps with 30 pounds resistance. Weighing myself at the end I wasn’t surprised that my weight had gone down to 82.5 pounds, I was happy regardless.

Plans for Saturday Night

After my workout and after having my shower and something to eat I listened to some music. In this time Lyssa gave me a call and told me about her day out shopping in Campbelltown where she bought Ali three shirts for his birthday. Lyssa also noted that Phoenix was in Campbelltown with Sofia and she also noticed Tamsen was down there, two of her most hated.

Even though tonight is Saturday Lyssa told me that she wanted to spend it with me because she wanted to see me for the new year. So that is our plans for later tonight where Lyssa doesn’t have enough money to come over by a taxi but she’s going to persuade her mum to lend her money. Just then I thought that Lyssa also needs money for a train ticket when she goes back to work and coming over my house she would be wasting that needed money.

I just gave Lyssa a call and she wanted me to drive to Lyssa’s house so we could both catch a bus to my house but that’s just too much for me to think about in this tired state I’m in right now. And you know how Lyssa is, she doesn’t like traveling alone even though she does it to the City everyday so she probably won’t be coming over today. If that’s the case then I might be going out tonight because I don’t feel like staying home.

Before I begin with yesterday’s antics let me note that Imad just called me about twenty minutes ago from work. Imad told me how he’s going to get fucked up by work and how he’s getting dogged by his boss but he couldn’t tell me why or to what extent because the cameras were on. So it must have something to do with surveillance or the likes of such. Imad told me he would give me a call later in the night where he might inform me, may I be expecting that call…

Calling Lyssa on Friday

Yesterday being Friday where I got to sleep at 7:00 a.m. in the morning I didn’t wake that afternoon until 2:30 p.m. For an hour and a half I had a shower and something to eat and then when I thought it was long enough I phoned Lyssa at 4:00 p.m. Lyssa did answer the phone but after a couple of seconds I realized that someone was over her house.

Upon asking who it was Lyssa replied “Kieran and Pedro are over.” It was here that I worked out that the both of them were also down at Wollongong where Lyssa was last night with Ali, Penelope and all the other lebs. Lyssa spent some time talking with the both of them that night and that’s probably how they both got the idea to head over to Lyssa’s house and watch a movie.

Lyssa traveled to the lighthouse at Wollongong last night and informed me that it wasn’t immensely packed but there were a fair few people there. Lyssa also informed me that she tried calling me at midnight from Wollongong to wish me a happy new year and then once again at 3:00 a.m. probably to come over my house but both times I wasn’t home and still in the City.

Lyssa didn’t reveal too much of her night in our short space of conversation but she wasn’t in a hurry to get back to Pedro and Kieran. Lyssa informed me that the both of them came over at 10:00 a.m. and considering Lyssa got to sleep around 4:00 a.m. it wasn’t that great for her. After ten minutes of talking with Lyssa about my night and hers she had to leave because Kieran and Pedro were probably wondering where she was.

With that I told Lyssa I would call back later in the night but because of the turn of events that never happened. Imad also called me on Friday and I heard he called me the night before new years probably to wish me a happy new year. In the short time that Imad and I talked he told me that he got pissed as a fart for new years and that’s basically all he could say before he had to get back to work.

Jett and the Greatest Hits Tape

Jett came over an hour after I had my conversation with Lyssa and as he did we talked about our events for the new year. Upon telling Lyssa that I was in the City by myself but met people down there he also informed me that he too was in the City.

Jett went to his work mate’s party until early in the day and then he left with Dennis on their bikes to the City at 7:30 p.m. half an hour before I left. For the whole night they were riding around and running over people’s fingers and legs just running a muck. Jett also informed me that Min-Su was also in the City and later in the night I found out that she too was near the rocks where I was.

So heaps of people that I knew were at the rocks but none of them did I see but strangers. Jett decided to dip out for some Macdonald’s and talking about Death Row and 2Pac he brought over ‘Death Rows Greatest Hits’ with plenty of video clips when he came back over. For a hour we watched that and when all was finished we headed out once more, this time so I could get a feed from Macdonald’s.

Burnouts in a Borrowed Commodore

Jett still had his brother’s Commodore as he’s away until the 6th of this month so in that we headed to Macdonald’s. Every second corner Jett tried doing a burnout saying “It’s not my car I don’t give a shit” once successfully completing one. On the way to Macdonald’s Dennis gave Jett a call from where we were headed so the logical thing was to meet him there.

At Macdonald’s we were both going to buy a McTriple each but we decided to get a family pack with four burgers, four drinks and four packs of chips for $10 because Dennis was there wanting to also eat. As we sat down to eat our food they talked about their night once again having a couple of laughs at what they had done. When we finished eating our food Jett decided to be a prick to the staff and spread all the rubbish over the table.
