Watching Her Sleep

Lyssa fell asleep at 12:30 a.m. and I kept myself awake for the next two hours or more watching television and ‘David Letterman’. Twice during the night I sat overlooking Lyssa while she slept so peacefully upon my bed. With her underwear and singlet now on I lay myself across the bed with one hand making its way under Lyssa’s head, the other across her Chest. With my face next to hers viewing her as she slept I noticed that this was Lyssa at her most vulnerable, vulnerable to me and to my heart. Deciding to be a bit brazen and inquisitive my daring hands pulled down the thin sheet to reveal Lyssa’s body.

Placing my hand on Lyssa’s Chest I slowly pulled down her top and revealing her breast to me I began encircling it with my finger. Curious to see if Lyssa’s senses would still become aroused even though she was sleeping I began with my tongue to nibble but was surprised that Lyssa did not become aroused in her subconscious. For a moment there I thought I had seen Lyssa blow kisses as she was sleeping and gathered she was probably dreaming that some guy was getting onto her while I was touching her.

Hugging Through the Night

Tiring myself out around 3:00 a.m. I noticed Lyssa sleeping very invitingly across the bed so turning off the television and opening the curtains I lay beside her. Lyssa woke up as I lay myself upon the bed and startled not knowing what was happening I told Lyssa it was alright. “Come here babe, come give me a hug” I said to her and not sure if she was still half asleep or not she rolled herself over and playfully rolled almost on top of me.

With myself lying on my back Lyssa lay her hand across me, her head on my shoulder and her leg brought over my legs leaving the rest of her body tightly clung to mine. This brought great satisfaction to me and as my hand made its way under Lyssa’s head for her comfort I thought of this as a memorable moment and still remember it. For the rest of the night I didn’t get much sleep mainly because I was concentrating on keeping still so Lyssa would get a good night’s sleep.

In all my time I was awake I remembered that either I would be hugging Lyssa as she slept or she would be hugging me like she started off. This made me so happy for the whole night and around 6:00 a.m. was when I finally went to sleep, content with the thoughts in my head. My dreams would have been simple but I doubt not that Lyssa was hugging me through them all. To this day I don’t think I’ve recalled a dream with Lyssa in it and I can’t say that I can now.

A Question About Ali

Morning awoke Lyssa and I at around 10:30 a.m. but this was to be our morning of downfall. Awoken with Lyssa still in my hands through the whole night I was once again content and was hoping that Lyssa felt the same. Not sure if Lyssa had asked me this question in the morning or the night before as we were walking to my house (The latter is more possible) but Lyssa asked what I would do if Ali came to my house one day. Without hesitation I told her that I would slam the door on his face and basically tell him to fuck off.

Lyssa gathered that this would have been my response and she actually brought it upon herself to tell me in the morning that Ali was thinking about coming over one day but Lyssa now realized that it would be a bad idea. Ali must have asked Lyssa to see if she could in turn ask me but I guess he’s either going to get a shock or realize his assumptions all along.

The Honest Answer Backfires

For some reason or other we were talking about our past relationship and I made the bold statement that between three and six months of going out it seemed like we were continually fighting with each other. If you take a look back in my Diary you would probably come back to the same conclusion. I wasn’t trying to start trouble, I was just stating my belief on the basis that Lyssa asked a question similar to the answer I gave. From what I gathered my answer was as honest as when Lyssa told me that I was now fatter, she didn’t try and hide anything so I didn’t see a reason to sugar coat our relationship.

Lyssa obviously had different thoughts and upon that decided to get frustrated by my remark. Repeatedly I told Lyssa that I was only speaking of what I though was true of that time but she failed to listen to my reasoning. Lyssa turned the tables as she jumped out of bed and picked up the phone. “Who are you calling” I asked of Lyssa and as soon as she told me she was calling her mum to pick her up I jumped out of bed. Hanging up the phone on Lyssa I announced “You’re not calling your mum” and as Lyssa once again dialed the number I went against my wish and allowed her to ring.

Ringing Her Mum

For ten minutes they sat on the phone talking about the modeling people and asking each other about their nights. While they conversed I lay motionless on the bed knowing that this would once again end in an argument, like it had been for the last year and a half. Why can I take criticism with Lyssa continually telling me I’ve put on weight and picking on the fact that I don’t have a job but I feel declined to do the same. Lyssa is less tolerant to the truth and doesn’t brush it off as I do.

Rather, if I mention something about Lyssa’s weight she gets upset and if I mention something like what I did in the morning she gets angry, enough to cause a major fight over nothing.

Hiding the Phone

When Lyssa was finished with her telephone conversation I realized that her mum was going to be ages because she had to do the shopping. Lyssa told me that her mum would be at least an hour and a half. “Do you mind if I give someone else a call” Lyssa asked and inquiring on who it was I told her no when she informed me that Penelope was her next call. Lyssa’s point to call Penelope was so she could get a lift and I thought it was rude for Lyssa to even consider calling Penelope but I gathered that Lyssa was doing it on purpose because of our fight we were now having.

Lyssa was persistent with wanting to call Penelope and asking if Lyssa would bitch about me to Penelope she agreed with what I had said. Moreover now I failed to reach an agreement with Lyssa and as we kept fighting over the phone I disconnected it. Lyssa walked out of my room to connect the phone again and not wanting to continually bicker over the phone I took the actual phone and placed it in the garage.

What Her Friends Think

Lyssa was noticeably frustrated and all because she got angry at how I perceived our first three months to six months of going out. Lyssa then started taking pot shots at me with abusive words as she also kept grabbing inanimate objects in my room. Lyssa’s intention was to piss me off so I would hand her the phone but I wasn’t going to buckle to her selfish needs. Starting to get angry with Lyssa I called her names and accused her of wanting to be like Penelope and being her follower.

That’s around when I told Lyssa that she was being led on by Penelope and wanted to be like her. Lyssa was insulting me way before this by telling me that most of her friends regarded me as a bad choice for Lyssa. From what I had heard Lyssa’s friends told her “I guess you have to start from the bottom and work your way up”. See what I mean, her friends disassociate me from any humane words about me, what have I done to them.

Is it for the fact that I’ve taken away their little princess and broken her in. Are they just jealous or is it that all of Lyssa’s friends are either bitches or guys that are too snobby to see my real side. Stuck up enthusiasts is what they are and even though their thoughts of me are two-faced when they see me I try to avoid their confused words.

Fighting Over the Memories Folder

Lyssa and I were at each other’s throats for most of the time at my house as she kept trying to take the pictures from the photo album or more importantly the letters that she had written to me from my memories folder. Already I had taken out some memories of me for Jewell which didn’t bother me at all to part with them but it would have hurt more if Lyssa had taken the only memories I would have been able to keep of her, personal letters.

Lyssa ripped down the phone number listing from my wall and started causing havoc with most of the books in my room as she whipped me with the end of the phone and threw books at me. Not able to take any more of her shit I picked up her packet of smokes and got her where it would hurt most.

Lyssa stopped in her tracks as I placed the cigarette in my hand and as I started speaking with an evil grin about Lyssa wanting to be like Penelope and pretending to light the smoke up I broke it in half. Lyssa was content with letting me break that smoke probably considering that we were even now. Still angered I took out another one of Lyssa’s smokes and this time placing it in my mouth and pretending to smoke I mocked Lyssa some more before disrupting my moment and breaking yet another smoke.

“Oh, did I hurt your precious smokes” I asked as Lyssa jumped out of the seat with a cold expression on her face and demanded that I stop breaking her smokes. “I’ll put them back in your bag” I told her and as she was untrustworthy she took them and asked for the broken smokes. I’m not sure if I gave them to her or not but I think that I placed them in the chips bag. How petty is that, Lyssa wanted to keep the broken smokes. When all momentary chaos was over we sat back down with more hateful words.
