A Hurried Entry
Tonight shall be a hurried entry as time management has occupied me well. Knowing that the gym was waiting for me to attend after work today, an hour was as sufficient in sustaining me enough energy and stamina for the duel. To cap off events though, I headed home on the 5:10 p.m. train and arrived to catch my bus to then get home at 6:45 p.m. Buying myself something to eat from the hot food stores in Campbelltown (potatoes with bacon and pasta), it was needed to establish some energy for a workout, eaten at home whilst getting dressed, giving myself until 7:30 p.m. before heading down to the Gym ready for some rebirthing of muscular aptness.
The workout lasted just over an hour and in that time I managed to look over one girl, and in my eyes, she was with the greatest toned body and best set of boobs, assured of some tone in them, and with their tan, looking fantastic. Anyway, before anything when coming home tonight at 8:45 p.m., I decided to watch ‘Dawson’s Creek’, and now that it is over, there’s half an hour left to write in these pages, to then have a shower before 10:30 p.m., and then some sleep; so blessed is me.
Today while I was pumping out at the Gym I felt a re-surge of muscular potential and realized that not much of my bulk was really lost, deciding instead to hang precariously taut on my body. There was, however, one letdown while working out and all throughout my time without it, the loss of my chain. The chain may be broken and in need of repair but it will never see neglect, having lived just as much lives as a cat.
The glitter of gold gone from around my neck is vacantly accepted but if it were there, I would have been my true self. Nevertheless, I guess we should think about reciting the day’s workout before considering the day’s chronology, as it really wasn’t too much anyway, so for the first time in a long time, and with no further due, cometh the rebirth of the workout age…
The Workout Log
Warm-up: Peddling away on the bike I managed three minutes and 30 Calories before doing some stretches and beginning with the rest of my workout.
Chest: Beginning with Machine Seated Bench Press and 70 Pounds, I slowly pushed out 35 pure reps for a warming up process. Causing no strain or real pressure, I decided to move to a more demanding exercise, Bench Press. Loading it up only with 80 pounds at first, a fast 20 reps were corked out before decidedly placing the weight down to load it up some more.
Increasing the weight to 120 pounds, I was pretty sure the extra weight would be a backbreaker but was surprised at my muscle atrophy when pushing out 12 reps, about all I could really handle. Despite this it seemed easy to assume my endurance on other exercises so I headed to Cable Crossovers and with 30 pounds for each hand, fired 20 reps. Peck Deck Fly’s were next with 120 pounds struggling somewhat with it but pushing out a deserved 15 reps.
Taking the weight down to 110 pounds, I pushed out another 12 reps in two intervals before moving on to Incline Dumbbell Presses with 40 pounders and shaking hands for 15 reps. Seated Machine Bench Press was once again on the agenda and with 140 pounds I pushed out a fair 15 reps, then keeping it on the same weight lifting the seat higher to rep out another 8 before finishing the Chest.
Back: Thinking that I could jump straight into this with heavier weight, I was sadly mistaken, needing instead to shift my routine around a bit. What’s more, I think my routine from free weights completely needs to change to cables and cutting exercises. On top of that, hammer curls and forearm exercises should still be in the curriculum, if only for that ever-important line extending from the elbow to the wrist bone.
Anyway, my first set was with Neutral Grip Pulldowns and with 70 pounds, I repped out 25 reps. Taking the weight up to 120 pounds I had to lower it by ten to get a good stretch of 12 reps. This hurt a fair bit and didn’t feel like the right form so I moved to Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns, pulling 90 pounds for 15 steady reps to my back. Keeping the same weight and exercise, I done another 15 reps.
Seated Cable Rows was next and with 80 pounds my 20 reps were exerted ones but it started to get tedious so a move to One Arm Dumbbell Rows was on call, beginning on 70 pounds to push out 12 hard-earned reps. Deciding to keep the same weight and going straight for the hard weights, I pushed out another 12 struggled reps. Cable Upright Rows was next with 35 pounds, capping off my back when pushing out a final 20 reps.
Biceps: Combining both Biceps and a Triceps work for super setting purposes, I started with a warm-up on Preacher Cable Curls and 30 pounds for 15 reps, then taking my urge to Alternate Dumbbell Curls, I picked up 30 pounders and repped out 12 reps, half of them being Hammer Curls. Picking up the weights for a second time I only pushed out 6 reps before conking out and moving back to Preacher Cable Curls, placing the weight up to 40 pounds whilst there to coerce a last-ditch 8 reps ahead of stripping the weight down a notch to finish 4 more reps.
There were two sets of Triceps Pushdowns done simply because an attractive lady a year or so older than me was there for me to stand next to, and maybe smile. She had a great physique but despite this, I pushed out 35 reps with 40 pounds, showing off before raising it to 70 pounds to linger for another 12 reps. My last set was with Reverse Cable Curls and with 35 pounds, I pushed out 15 reps for the record.
Abdominals: Within these reps I did feel the burn and crunching pain, it felt good. Starting the weight on 40 pounds I pushed out 35 reps where some of them were side crunches. The same technique was done for the second set with 30 reps and my third and final set was with 50 pounds where I pushed out another 30 reps which were a little slower.
Dozing On The Train
Now that I have cared to explain my Gym session and with the few minutes that are left before my shower, allow me to explain my day. This morning I woke up at the usual time, had my shower, put on my clothes, had something to eat and then headed out for the bus. Jumping on, I made it to Campbelltown Station with a heap of time before my next train and jumping on that, a whole three-seater was mine to myself for one stop.
However, as it started to fill up and nothing to do but stare out the window, I quickly started to get tired. My seven-hour-night sleeps were catching up with me and I knew that closing my eyes and resting on the train would help me, even if it was for half an hour. On and off I did wake up on the way to the City but for the most of the trip I had my eyes closed and not asleep but I was adrift.
Filing With Thalia
Reaching my station, I headed off in an orderly walk to the ticket machines and then took my time to work, as there was time to spare. I grabbed the mail from downstairs and was then let in by someone else upstairs (my ID Card comes next week) and from there, I made my way to my Administration Section. Najla had just gone down to get the mail I had collected and as I sat down, I asked what my tasks would be for the day.
Thalia wasn’t very organized as she just gave me some more filing to do but it wasn’t too tedious, rather somewhat pleasant. If it wasn’t for my having to stand around and get sore feet from it, filing would have been partly a blessing. Nevertheless, filing doesn’t speed the day along as much as creating a Brief or doing the incoming or outgoing mail. The day just whizzes past with these.
A Bad Phone Call
With the day well on the way in our crowded little area brim with five people, it was time to take my business of filing to my feet, as noted. This carried on almost to lunch keeping me satisfied and pleased when finding a file that had a great heap of filing for it. Najla was doing the incoming mail again and just like my second day, she had to ask things a second time around, which leads me to think that I really am as anyone else in the learning category. However, when I decided to make a phone call to a barrister today to get up my confidence and practice, I made a big mistake.
I knew I should have just let Thalia handle it because I was never too self-confident beforehand. Asking her to listen into my conversation, she sat there stunned at some stages biting her lip and saying “Oh my God” under her breath. I’m not sure the exact explaining word Thalia used for me but I’m sure it was around the sense of my being harsh, rude or sounding presumptuous on the phone.
This was due to my not having a personality on the phone because it seems to get lost on me when dreaded performance comes along, especially the reception type tasks. Hopefully Najla can do most of the phone calls when we are left to our own devices in a week or two, but we’ll just have to see.
Sushi And Pinstripes
When lunch arrived I had an hour in which to do shopping, have something to eat and then get back to work on time. Leaving at 1:00 p.m. we left Najla there by herself to close some files where once again, Thalia was absentminded as we all left, leaving Najla by herself in the office as we all went to lunch. Despite that, I left at my own time and made my way to Wynyard Station.
Seeking out a Sushi bar noticed the day before, I actually found two of them right near each other but the one that appealed to me most was the one that sold the Sushi rolls for $1.50. Considering it would be quicker to buy food and then go shopping, I bought myself two pieces (one with crabstick), clutching at the bag as I headed to catch the next train. This took a couple of minutes in waiting but it finally arrived, taking me to Town Hall.
My plans were a bit hazy on whether to shop first and then eat or eat first and then shop but despite the confusion, I decided it would be quicker to shop first as I was already in the QVB and buying those pinstripe pants was now the overruling option over buying a jumper for work. Walking into ‘Blue’ I didn’t have too much time to try something on so just getting some assistance, I found a size 34 in my sights and bought my new belongings.
From buying clothes for work I headed quickly to Hyde Park to sit at the evergreen tree, something I haven’t seen for days. Having only a couple of minutes to eat I relaxed and didn’t hurry myself but when done, finally left for the train station. The only problem now was waiting for a train and having just over ten minutes, I wanted it to be there as soon as possible. However, impatience was my virtue, furiously having me storming up the stairs after a minute contemplating whether to walk back to work or not, a seemingly less gambled and easier option.
I took the time consuming option of walking back to work and walking past the QVB in a frenzied pace and made it back to the front doors just on time. Nevertheless, it was an aggravated walk back because of slow people in front of me forcing me to walk as slow as them. There was one stage where two old women in their seventies would walk so slow continually stopping in my path to look at cheap two-dollar gift shops. I finally brushed past them and although I had lost a minute or two that could never be redeemed, work had me there on time.
Cake For Blythe
The second half of my work day began with spraying on some perfume to conceal the sweat that might have been coming from my body. The second half of the day wasn’t too much different, there standing for half of it but getting the chance to do some Brief updates in the other half. For this I sat at another table just around the corner which took me a good hour.
Near the end of the day there was a birthday celebration for Blythe; one of the workers with us in Legal. There was a card that was sent around to everyone so they could write a little note of appreciation. As Fitzroy and Thalia joked about my writing ‘Legal Tony’ I done just that writing ‘Legal Tony, wishing you the best of wishes”. Fitzroy broke out in a fit of laughter as he chuckled, “Very original, ingenious”.
Thalia called me the usual ‘classic’ and after we all had some cake to eat and I had myself a drink, it was back to work but more laid back. With the end of the day nearing we packed our bags and everyone left first leaving me and Najla to head out last again. This time around Najla uttered “Are you ready” as if she was expecting the two of us to head out together.
Walking Home With Najla
I’m not sure if she just thinks I’m being nice or if she thinks that this routine of heading to the train will annoy her but for the second day in a row we made our way to the station in conversation. Walking down the fire stairs we also had a little chat to Jana on our way to the train station as I started chatting about the State of Origin so we could have something to talk about.
When at the station Jana was the first to part and then me and Najla parted our ways as we went through the ticket gates. From there I jumped on my train and slept again for most of the way home before catching my bus and catching up with the rest of chronology. There was a girl who jumps on my bus everyday and catches the same train home with me.
I saw a girl that I thought was her at work today and it would be amazing if it was because I think the girl at work and this girl are both hot. If it does turn out to be her it could be another person to chat to and probably chat to on the way home, someone that lives in Bradbury just like me, catches the same public transport and works in my office. What are the odds of that…
