A Second Call Through Tears
Lyssa called me back ten minutes after she hung up crying and as I explained to her none of this was her fault and that she only got caught up in letting Ali into her life she settled down. “I don’t want you to stop being friends with Ali” I explained to Lyssa, “Rather, instead of being his best friend I want him to once again just be Penelope’s boyfriend”. Lyssa agreed that this could happen and even though she didn’t promise that she would forget about their new best friendship I believe that she is now going to make a conscious effort not to see Ali as much.
What I really hate is things like Lyssa taking pictures with Ali and how he’s always friendly with her, touching her, mucking around with her, puppy love. I told Lyssa this and she informed me once again that she would try to put a stop to it or at least stop talking about it to me, there’s always a start…
Bedtime And Missing Meteors
The time was around 10:30 p.m. as I let Lyssa go to bed. Setting her alarm for 4:00 a.m. in the morning Lyssa was going to wake up hopeful of seeing some shooting star action but it was never to be, too much clouds in the sky. Wednesday morning I didn’t get to sleep until way early in the morning, past 6:00 a.m.
But, more on that when I finally wake up tomorrow and more word on Wednesday at the Gym. My epic drama is practically over now, the chronology is practically up to date. Tomorrow I shall finish off Wednesday antics and hopefully I can write for Thursday night. For now, the time is 6:50 a.m. and it is about time I headed to bed now…
Thursday 7:50 p.m.
Music And No Inspiration
Here I am, ready to finish off my Wednesday antics and once that is done I’m fully up to date with my past. Phew, how long has this ordeal taken and how much breaks have I had, plenty. Today while I have been awake I have been doing nothing but listening to CD’s from Miss Saigon, Michael Jackson and now the CD that I burnt for Lyssa. This has acted as a relaxant for I don’t usually write in my Diary so early in the day, no inspiration. Nevertheless, my days writing of Wednesday does not need inspiration as my moments of Wednesday weren’t inspirational.
Dinner Plans Fall Through
Before I speak of Wednesday let me just speak of today. Last night I didn’t get to sleep until 7:00 a.m. mostly because I went out but also because I started writing in my Diary until that time. Lyssa gave me a call around midday today and as I groggily answered the phone as I usually do with three hours of sleep we talked.
Lyssa asked if I would like to go to dinner with her for the night to the Chinese Restaurant at the Maclin Lodge Motel. Intent was Lyssa’s thoughts and as I also made myself eager I knew that it was Lyssa’s money and let her make the decision, let her think about it. Lyssa wasn’t too sure if she wanted to go out to dinner as she told me that she spends a bulk of her money on smokes and food these days. Lyssa let me get back to sleep as I told her I would give her a call when I woke up to talk of our plans if any.
Waking Up Very Late
Reaching 4:00 p.m. (My latest wake up this month) I picked up the phone gathering that Lyssa would have given me a call by now. Knowing that Lyssa wasn’t intent on eating out I held that in my mind as I talked to her and I was right. “I think I’m just going to go home and study for College tonight” Lyssa told me and it didn’t bother me the slightest.
Letting Lyssa get back to work I told her that we would talk tonight but she hasn’t called yet and I’ve been too caught up in listening to music to realize what time it was. Now I’m writing in my Diary so I might give her a call a little later in the night to have a chat with her. Lyssa and I chatted once again about the weekend today while she was at work and we’re certain that Friday night is out of the conclusion.
Thursday 7:50 p.m.
Jett Knocks On My Window
Well, while I was writing that last sentence Lyssa decided to give me a call and on that exact moment someone knocked on my window. Telling the person at the window to wait Lyssa didn’t want to end our conversation so I kept her on the phone as I quickly turned off my Diary and headed for the door. To my surprise Jett was at the door and behind him was his new motorbike. Taking a glance at his red stylish new looking road bike I asked him into my room.
Jumping back onto the phone I was a bit cautious of what I was saying over the phone but then Lyssa and I got to talking about the weekend, what I was discussing with my Diary last. “If I get back from the part at midnight on Friday will you come over my house, even if my brother is here”. That brought on a spur of conversation between us and we came to the conclusion that I would probably sleep over Lyssa’s house if I didn’t go out with my friends for the night.
There is a good chance that this might happen but if Lyssa’s brother sleeps at her house (Even though he has Carleigh’s car and will probably go out) then she won’t be scared and alone. Making it clear that I wouldn’t dog my friends in the middle of our night if I did go out I also made it clear that I would be with Lyssa if she was alone for the night.
Jett And His Girlfriend
Finishing our conversation and telling Lyssa I would call back later I said goodbye. Later in the night when I called Lyssa back (Just before writing here) Lyssa informed me that my last word to her was “Catch”, the term I usually tell my friends. I must admit that once I remembered what I had said it seemed a bit weird when I said that to Lyssa. Once off the phone Jett told me about his bike and a little bit of information about him and Min-Su.
Finding it hard to believe that he’s been going out with Min-Su for one month and one week (Always thinking it was longer) Jett told me how they had a squabble when he was at a party on Saturday night. This breaks out into more revealing gossip but to put it short. Jett was with his friends at a party in Glen Alpine and Min-Su was with Tamsen. They wanted to know what Jett was doing and he just told them to go out together because Jett had more secretive plans.
Min-Su kept ringing Jett through the night and as she got herself a little drunk they made their way to the party that Jett was at. Jett informed the both of them that he would be leaving at 11:30 p.m. so as Tamsen drove there around 11:10 p.m. it was almost time for Jett to leave. Min-Su got angry, drove off and the next day Tamsen talked to Jett and basically told him that it was over between him and Min-Su. Minutes later Min-Su gave him a call and she was sorry for how she acted on Saturday night.
Crimes On Saturday Night
Saturday night was the night that I went to ‘Waves’ with the rest of them and along with the fact that Jett was at a party in Glen Alpine, Saturday night was the night Jett committed crimes with Mikaere. Jett informed me of his plans after 11:30 p.m. to rob the place he’s been telling me about in Macarthur Square. Jett told me how they were going to do it on Friday but there was some party going on.
Saturday night when the guy was supposed to wheel $40,000 in a trolley to a safety deposit they were going to jump him but they locked the deposit door early leaving them with nothing. Sunday was the night they actually tried something and with a guy parked across the street waiting for Jett and Mikaere in a getaway car the plan began to unfold. From what Jett told me they smashed a window as the only way to get into the store but as they immediately made their getaway because of suspicion heaps of police cars pulled up to Macarthur Square.
They left safe and unhindered but Jett told me that they pulled out early because a guy from across the road that owns a house looked into the getaway car. Luckily he didn’t get a license plate or clear description of the car because Jett would now be fucked, well not for smashing a window.
The Newspaper Story
Jett also told me of an article about him and Mikaere on Saturday night in the Chronicle and as I brought the paper into my room I understood what he was telling me. Jett, Mikaere and some other guy all had beanies on at Macarthur Square and as it was almost midnight. The three of them walked up to some guy, took him around the corner and with their beanies down and holes where the eyes were they began a robbery.
The actual thought of the three of them robbing someone didn’t surprise me but when I heard Jett tell me that Mikaere took out a 9mm gun and held it at point blank across his forehead I was surprised. The other guy had an extendable baton as he smacked the guy across the legs forcing him to kneel. With the gun still to his head Mikaere asked for his wallet and as they took his keycards they got his pin number.
Jett smacked him across the face because he started to become hysterical with fear and as they left him with the pin number in their mind they put away the weapons. Some guy walked up to them asking if they had a lighter and when the three of them turned around with their balaclavas still down he fled faster than a cheetah.
