Lyssa really enjoyed Manpower and she enjoyed the two photo’s she got after the show. Ecstatic about her picture with Wild-Child Lyssa told me that I had to see the picture but getting irritated with Lyssa’s continual animated bliss I stopped being so enthusiastic about her night. Actually, I wasn’t that glad when Lyssa called me at midnight, it was a bit rude and it was a bit ruder that Lyssa called to talk of her brilliant night. Not that I didn’t appreciate what we had to talk about but I can only take so much of Lyssa telling me how these muscle clad guys really made her night.
These muscle clad guys allowed me once again to change the conversation smoothly to another topic, mainly to keep Lyssa from boasting about her night and giving my nerves a rest. Asking if Lyssa thought that Redd was on steroids she told me that he was and she found out from Nadia. That’s when I asked Lyssa when the last time was that she talked to Nadia she told me that it has been a long time since they have conversed. Yet, Lyssa spoke to her yesterday when she was at Chevy’s and Nadia gave her a lift home. Lyssa told me she doesn’t ring up Nadia or even talk to her that much but when they are together they talk. That’s when I noted my curious bond between Redd and also Nadia. There’s nothing really there but I feel close to Redd (Redd) even though I don’t have his number, hardly talk to him or even know where he lives. It’s different to me stopping and talking to someone like Maddox who owns Olympus Gym than speaking with Redd. With Maddox it’s more of a challenge to keep a conversation and it’s worrying when it falls apart. With Redd I feel like I’ve gone back in time with him a fair distance and we’ve been friends for ages. When I speak with Redd it’s more calm and collected but I rarely speak to him. Redd is the friend that could have been but isn’t, was one time but now is distant, hey that rhymes.
Lyssa started hearing noises in her house, some sort of scraping noise and that’s when I started remembering the frightening noises that came from my room years ago. Not sure if I’ve ever placed that experience in my Diary but back in the days when I used to do séances in my house and just after I done the last séance from my own home I started hearing noises. These noises only happened at a certain time in the morning, around 4:00 a.m. and they were scraping noises. The sounds came from a specific wall, where my computer and speakers are on now. The weird thing about this noise was that they were coming from the middle of the wall, near my door and it sounded sort of like something crawling and a sweeping noise. There were times when I would walk real close to the wall and try to investigate where the noise was coming from but it seemed as if it was coming from nowhere. Tatton stayed over my house one night and I asked him to stay up and try to listen to the noise. As it turns out Tatton went to sleep half an hour before the noises started and I thought they weren’t going to happen that night but they came right on time. It was ironic how Tatton wouldn’t wake up to hear the noises and feeling that I lost the battle I tried to get to sleep.
The noise that Lyssa was hearing in her house was different to what was in my mind. Lyssa didn’t know where the noise was coming from but I started to get irritated knowing that Lyssa only called me because she knew I would be up and soon she would hang up the phone. Lyssa told me the reason she called was that she had to tell someone and as soon as she came home she dialed my number. Lyssa kept jumping off the phone to wash her clothes and put them in the drier, it was frustrating. Knowing that Lyssa can call me at odd hours in the morning and I wouldn’t really care but if I had done that Lyssa would see it as a cry out to her. What really got me upset was that I had seen Lyssa’s call tonight as her not trying to space herself from me and trying to hold on. That’s not the case, Lyssa has moved on but why call at odd hours in the morning. Lyssa told me that she also tried to call me last night at 4:00 a.m. in the morning to tell me the good news of her periods. For some reason my phone was always busy so we both gathered that my mum must have put the phone off the hook. So around fifteen minutes after Lyssa gave me a call it was time for her to get to sleep. Lyssa was spending the day with her dad tomorrow, he’s sleeping once again at ‘Formule One Hotel’.
There’s a game on television that I’m watching right now. It’s a cross between Aussie Rules Football and soccer. Like Football there are two sets of posts, one behind and the real scorers that give you three points. Just like soccer there is a keep where if you score you get six points. The game is played with a soccer ball and just like Aussie Rules you have to bounce the ball every couple of steps if you’re running with it. There’s almost no rules to this game, you can soccer kick the ball, throw the ball, pick it up and kick it, dribble the ball, anything. Like Aussie Rules you can mark the ball but the weird thing about the game is that it’s played on a square oval, not a round one. So there’s some weird shit in this game and I thought at first that it looked really shit but I’m starting to grow accustomed to it quickly. I think it’s the fact that soccer is so hard to score a goal in and in this you can practically throw the ball in if you wanted to. The only thing stopping you from scoring a goal is the goal keeper. Not sure exactly on the name of the game but I do know that if you score a goal you get six points.
To explain my day after Lyssa gave me a call I basically used the computer and had myself a shower. For most of the day I was obsolete and didn’t do nothing but play on my computer but for a couple of minutes I did bask in the sun while it was away from the clouds. That was basically the only time of the day the sun was strong enough to keep me warm and might have done some work on my suntan. Imad gave me a call around 9:00 p.m. in the night from his dad’s house. Imad told me he had a stomach virus and was stuck at home for the night but he was working tomorrow. Imad then told me about Pippa and as usual, she’s being a stupid bitch. Imad doesn’t want to talk to Pippa anymore but that’s the only pussy he’s getting so let’s look at it from Imad’s point of view. What really got to Imad was that Pippa told him she was going to kill herself and used Candice as an excuse to hang herself. Imad got pissed off she even mentioned him and believe me I know how he feels knowing there’s a bad smell around not leaving you alone, like Gianna.
Imad asked the usual, how was I, what have I been doing lately, have I spoken to Lyssa lately, you know, the usual. Imad told me that he would be staying at his dad’s house for the next couple of months so he can get himself back on his feet with this job, get some money rolling and then move out, probably into an apartment. When it was time to end our conversation Imad and I were being silly hanging up the phone. Imad didn’t hang up and neither did I and we done the old “Okay, we’ll hang up on three, 1, 2, 3.” But, that didn’t work and for five minutes we were trying to hang up. It was funny but it got frustrating and finally we both hung up the phone. Imad rang me back a couple of seconds later boasting that I hung up just before he did then he asked me “What noise does a truck make when it’s reversing” and not thinking I said “Beep.” Imad hung up the phone before I ended my word and then I knew that I was duped, the phone was making the same noise and that’s what Imad meant. Hey, I’ll have to do that to someone one of these days, it was pretty funny.
The time is now 1:30 a.m. and I want to get to sleep any time now. I’ll set the alarm for 10:00 a.m. and within an hour and a half I should be in Liverpool and the rest of the day should be enough for me to finish off my chores, look for work and then go to the Gym. Let me just say before I leave tonight, if Fate really wanted me to get with Diamond (If that’s her name) then fate will let me see Redd tomorrow and then speak to him. Redd is usually there around 5:00 p.m. and judging from my hectic day’s planning I might just see him if he decides to be at the Gym tomorrow.
