Seventy five, then two hundred and thirty seven

By early morning the nutrition database had 75 meals in it across five cuisines, and I think that’s a great result. By the evening Cowork had collected 237 meals of the 1,000 I’m aiming for.

Custom meals

I want to be able to add custom meals, not just by mixing ingredients. I type in a title like “tomato salad”, add the ingredients, write down the portion sizes, and save it. The name is the only custom part; the calories come from the ingredients, and I get a reusable meal I can use every time.

There should also be a way to look up a menu item and say, that’s not completely correct, and customize it: use it as a template and remove some ingredients.

The last big build

Tonight I want to hook the nutrition tab into my app. After that come the free versus premium nutrition tiers, the progress and stats charts, and finally the calendar overlays for nutrition, blood pressure, BMR, BMI and calories. It’s a big build.

Once that build’s done, the app’s done. I’m promising myself I’m not going to add any more to the app. It’s already chockers full of stuff that I want.
