Get Chaos Screen Recorder on Google Play
“Have you ever used a screen recorder?”
Towards the end of my time with a friend, I showed him my apps. We got talking about AI, and I said I wanted to show him something. I pressed record, and then I went through the whole process of making a video.
“Look at this, bro. Have you ever used a screen recorder?” “No, I haven’t.” “When you play games, screen recorders are great. I was looking for one online for Lance, and I couldn’t find one that did what I needed, so I asked AI to build one according to what we needed. AI created it!” “Did it do it in an hour?” “I did it in half a day, but I’ve been developing it ever since.”
I recorded a video of me playing a game with him in the background and explained why I was so proud of it.
“I read online that this is the feature that everyone wants, and people pay for it. You know those videos where people are playing a game and they’ve got a little face box down the bottom? That’s the feature. The apps I used before, sometimes you could hear the music playing on the phone but not your voice, and sometimes I would download an app and my voice would work but I couldn’t hear the game music. With this one, it fixes that problem, and it also gives you the face feature. That’s really mad!”
Making it look better
I told him about Claude Design. It helps with the look of an app: you tell it what features you have, it gives you a design and a few mockups, and you take the mockup into Claude AI and tell it to build it into the code.
“Look at this screen recorder, it doesn’t look very good, it’s just light purple.”
That light purple stayed until the red theme arrived on July 22.
Where it sits among my projects
Talking it through, the apps I am actually working on right now are three: my two other apps and the Chaos Screen Recorder. The audio transcriber could be a fourth one day, as a mobile or online version. I did not have the motivation that night to work on any of the other games.
