Back to the Memoirs

That parts and says farewell to my Tuesday and Tuesday night. From whence I came back home I did feel that Imad’s house was the only recuperation from an otherwise continuous day. Work was work and work was work when I arrived back home to type in my memoirs. For the rest of the night I did fill these pages so rapidly and whatever I do, I can’t seem to engulf any more than a night’s worth of action.

Tonight is just the same as I’ve had the whole day to conceive my storyline, I’ve pledged my quicker depiction but still, many little stories and articles told that could otherwise have been left out to hollow my perspective of the day. However, I am satisfied tonight despite my obviously having to step up tomorrow and not being able to. Glad I am that today wasn’t that adventurous and as I will now comment on the events forthcoming tonight, that will also conclude the chronology for today’s events until I jump off this computer.

Ralf Offers Three Clubs

Within the last hour in which the time is now 8:30 p.m. Ralf decided upon calling me so he could plan the events for tonight. To put it simply, he threw up three choices into the air in which only one of them had some credibility. Maroubra Seals was one of his options, Kicks at Parramatta Leagues Club was another and the Meridian was the third. Kicks was the only viable option but I really didn’t want to head to another club tonight.

Ralf was eager to head out on bead to his plans but as I continually told him that I wouldn’t go out unless it was more than Shawn, Ralf and myself, he prolonged the situation. Ralf has the tendency of repeating himself more than a parakeet when it comes to planning, thinking that he drills the plans into our head so often so he himself can remember them.

Unconcerned about the whole attitude of going out for the night I would have been just as grateful if I had stayed home tonight to finish up some of this chronology. Regardless, after ten minutes of trying to say goodbye to Ralf I did him a favor by calling the three clubs. Ralf’s dad had barred the phone from any outgoing calls outside of Campbelltown so I done his favor for him despite my lacking of will to go out.

The first club I called was Maroubra Seals, Ralf’s continual figment of persistency along with ‘Cave’ and the ‘Meridian’. Glad to my luck’s fortune, the Seals club was closed for renovation. One down and two to go, I called the more inviting option of heading down to Kicks for the night. However, it sounded good until I heard the tickets would be sold out within an hour and knowing Ralf would definitely be unable to head out there, I gave that another tick of depreciation.

Giving Ralf a call back before trying Miranda I was less eager to head there than any other club. The reason for this lack of insistence is that I’ve heard some lacking stories about the Meridian from many people and I didn’t want to travel all the way out there with just Ralf and Shawn to have a possible shit night. Despite my pledges Ralf was persistent so as to get away from his rambling I offered to call the ‘Meridian’ and see if they were open for the night.

Shawn Calls Back

Pausing between calls I received one myself from an eager and anticipative Shawn. The confusion of Ralf’s not knowing which was his left foot had Shawn in confusion over the night. You could tell that he was interested in heading out for the night but as I lowered the locations down to the ‘Meridian’ not even Shawn wanted to head down there. “I don’t understand Ralf”

Shawn argued, “He’ll head out to Maroubra which is past the City but even if Seals wasn’t open he wouldn’t head into the City”. Ralf’s brain is a perplexing mystery and for that we have no answer. From my call with Shawn I sought to give Tyler a call so that I could swing into a different area of collaboration. However, after his little sister walked around the house searching for him she finally found him, sleeping in bed.

Today Tyler had to work early in the morning and from his late night last night, he decided to get to sleep. Despite this, Tyler was awakening at 11:00 p.m. so I just noted that if he was bored at that time, to give me a call so we can arrange plans. The night was looking dim, with Ace working at his new job in a bottle shop, Binh on holidays, Keith kissing the feet of Tamsen and everyone else just being haste to themselves.

The break in the night came with no visible intent, Shawn looking towards me so that I would possibly take the reigns. Since I stepped out of my shell last night to make plans and their coming together nicely, Shawn has taken an optimistic shine to what could be my glory days again. Strangely, even though Ralf was being pushy and making plans, it sounded as if he was gravely looking for my hidden advice in which he would jump at any opportunity I put forth.

A Movie Instead

Ironically, those thoughts came true when in our parting words I remarked how it would be a good idea if we went to watch a movie. “Yeah” Shawn shouted in anticipation and with that our night was born. Sounding plausible, I was still to run that past Ralf who would probably have thought it was an act of defiance against his planning. Nevertheless, as I called Ralf back with the plans he did jump at my opportunity.

Jumping when it is applied to Ralf simply means he got interested and spent the next ten minutes saying “Yeah, that sounds like a good idea” in which I would continually raise the point of having to ring the cinemas and what else to do. Basically, from what I had planned, the night so forth is to head to Liverpool’s Senstadium, watch ‘The Mummy’ and then head out to Parramatta Leagues Club just to hang about.

My mention has also been for the three of us to dress up as if we were heading into a club, so that I wouldn’t be the only one looking spiffy. I know Ralf can do it, I know Shawn can also do it so I’ll also go out there looking a million, see if anyone notices. There probably are a couple more words I can attain within this blasphemy upon Ralf and his planning but I chose to show haste as the time is now almost 9:00 p.m. and I have to head out that door. The movie starts at 9:30 p.m. and I just hope that Ralf has dressed himself in the time that we’ve had available to him…
