A Tired Start To The Week

With the time now being 10:00 p.m. and my having at least half an hour to type before thinking about drifting off to sleep, I shall start with a fast finger and flicking action. First priority would be to note that I woke up at 5:50 a.m. this morning without feeling too replenished. With each morning I wake up I feel a tad more tired than the night before but it could only be my weekend catching up to my Mondayitis.

Despite my lack of spring to jump into action, I opened my eyes slowly and went about my business. Having a shower and something generous to eat I made my way back to my room to warm up, prepare my bag and then head out for the bus. I am still yet to think the words “I wish I could just stay home, I don’t want to go to work” but with this job I don’t feel it will come at all or at least, not for a long time.

With this job I feel much at ease and despite there being stressful things like filing I never feel stressed in any part of my job. All day it is just smooth sailing where the first half of the day is just flies and then the second is just as quick but a tad slower. The old adage goes to say that your weeks are fast but your weekends faster.

The New Administration Girl

There was nothing special about hopping on my bus or on my train as there wasn’t much a gorgeous girl to glance at. The train was a bit late at leaving and I arrived at the work’s elevator’s right on time. Just as I was contemplating on whether or not to head for the mail first or to head upstairs. Just as I did make my decision to grab the mail I noticed Thalia walk out with the mail bag in her hand and what appeared to be Najla our new Administrations girl by her side.

Greeting Thalia I was then introduced to whom I thought it was and as the elevators opened, I showed common courtesy to take the heavy bag of mail in one hand and onto the elevator. Jumping out on the second level the three of us made our way to the door in which Thalia flashed her ID Card and we were in. Just a small note on the identification card door.

For the last two or three visits to the toilets or when coming back from lunch and being the only person at the door, I found that it clicks open automatically for me. Today I explained my strange situation to both everyone in my little Administration section, Fitzroy called me “Legal Supernatural Tony”. Therefore, either the door wasn’t closed properly which isn’t likely or I’m somehow electrically charged enough to send a signal to the door so that it can open. I tried showing Thalia at the end of the day but it just beeped at me.

Najla was what I expected as the three of us placed dibs on what nationality we thought she would be. My first guess was that she would be of Asian decent and as I noticed her, my first impression was true to her Asian heritage. Wearing a dark blood red pearl work shirt and a stylish but undistinguished outfit, I noticed it was sort of like what I was looking for.

It was clear that Najla didn’t shop for conventional women’s suits but she got creative with designer labels that were making work outfits, sort of like how I want to buy work pants from Gas Station and how I’m looking at clothing stores that deal with the fashion apt to deal my blows of success.

Filing Beside Najla

As Najla started on the incoming mail I made my way to sorting out the filing for the most part of our first half of the day. With Najla I relived my first day on the job and noticed the same compaction of what her personality was really like. Najla was as quiet and as attentive as me on my first day but she dealt with her nerves in different ways in response to my coughing nerves.

Before lunch arrived for me at noon, Najla and I were put together to do some closing files as it was my second time learning. Because Najla was new and I am good at making people feel comfortable, I casually chatted to her as we sorted out the closed files, went through the ropes lightly with her and then just got to our mutual work.

Beauty In The Office

I couldn’t help but to think of her on more of a level than being my working partner. After all, I am only a man. Just like most other good looking women at my work, I pay attention to them as they briskly walk past my view, agreeing upon their beauty and wishing I was more on a level than just to say a fleeting hello. Respectably, the only two people I have something for in our legal department apart from Najla is Delphi who is a Law Clerk and has that morbid look going on and surprisingly, Jana, my supervisor.

Ever since she’s dyed her hair to brown last Friday I have grown attached to her reticent control of power and passion. On top of that, I quite like the idea that she is from around my country land, I think from Czechoslovakia. There are many other girls like Kelsey who is never at her desk, a list of blondes walking around, a Lebanese looking girl, the tall beauty from the FAI section just down the corridor and Kalinda.

There surely isn’t a shortage of beauty in the offices of my work and if I wanted to get more in depth, I would search the floors for beauty such as Cassidy from the first floor. Then you have the lady in the mailroom but now we’re stretching a bit.

Shopping At Lunch

When my lunch finally arrived I was a bit late to head off but I wasn’t unaware of where I wanted to go. Making my way to the train station I caught the next train to Town Hall and from there I headed to the QVB. Once in there I made haste to Oxford and thinking that I was going to buy the ribbed jumper I tried it on and found it to be less desirable than thought. Sure it would look great without a tie and work shirt underneath but it didn’t give the greatest of appearances with these items so it was given a miss.

Now I was stuck on what to buy with my money so I quickly made my way to the sushi shop, bought something to eat and then headed to the Piccadilly Plaza Newsagent. In here I bought the Spring/Summer FHM book and also the newest FHM magazine with the top 100 women in the world. With only twenty minutes left I was forced to head to St. James station and eat on the platform as I waited for my train.

Taking my time with my food, there wasn’t anyone around to make me feel self-conscious but that probably wouldn’t have happened anyway. Jumping on the train I headed back to work and making my way back to the administration section there, Thalia was waiting. ‘Thalia The Slave Driver’ (as depicted by Fitzroy’s caricature) told me I should be on time in the future but in a sense, I was on time as I left a couple of minutes late.

Boxing Files And A Walk

For the hour in which everyone was at lunch I got working on some more filing with some great improvement and when they all came back I got stuck into packing boxes with all the closed files to send to Brambles Storage. This took me a good hour to pack as everyone was having a good old time in their own little worlds. Fitzroy was on another desk making the briefs, Thalia was showing Najla how to parcel the outgoing mail and I was up to my old tricks, filing. Again I was called a classic by my treatment of seeming unawareness in any situation, and with the day winding down so did the most of us.

Thalia left a couple of minutes early with the excuse that she had to drop off a letter to the mail box but I knew she was trying to catch an earlier train. Fitzroy and Esme were next to leave in our little group and as Najla kept working intently, I told her it was alright to leave. Keeping her company as she packed up we left around the same time as I chatted with her towards the elevator and then telling her about the stairs, we decided to head down that way.

Walking with her to Wynyard Station we kept talking about our hopes and prosperity in which I also learnt that Najla came from Mount Druitt, quite a fair bit away. The conversation was so I could get to know Najla because I would eventually be working with her and also to get her comfortable around me and the office. Reaching Wynyard I said goodbye to her as I parted for my platform where I caught a train to Central and jumped an express train home.

A Face From Airds High

Reaching Campbelltown with some time to spare, I bought two pieces of pumpkin and then headed back to wait for my bus. Within a few minutes it had arrived and as I jumped on I sat back and relaxed for the rest of the trip home. A flash from the past was sitting one seat behind me and on the other side of the bus.

It was Nayeli from Airds High School, the American Indian who once put a mouse holder (from a computer) on my pants where my dick was and made some funny comment. I didn’t think much to chat with her but I thought that it would have been a good reunion and a possible acquaintance beyond friendly gesture. However, nothing happened and as I jumped off at my stop I headed home full of verve for what had to be accomplished for my winding down of the day.

Thinking About The Gym

Now that all has been accounted for and everything is up to date I have the opportunity to get to sleep. My eyes are tired and the time is 10:35 p.m. so without any further ado, I will get myself some rest. Let me just note however before I leave that tomorrow I might consider heading to the Gym for the first time in a little while.

As I am waiting for work to build the Gym, I might as well start training again at Olympus and seemingly having money, I might have to just do that. Originally I was going to head there on Wednesday and Saturday but since State of Origin falls on that night I have to change my plans. Well, we’ll have to see what happens but for now my eyes ache and I shall need a good night’s sleep so that I won’t fall to sleep and stiffen my neck every five minutes on the train to work…
