Johnnie Looks Different

Ralf and Shawn made their way into the club and to the area where we were seated twenty minutes after we had arrived. Still we hadn’t moved from our seats simply because we weren’t confident to jump up yet. As everyone else was standing up and dancing the three of us weren’t moving at all before they arrived. Just before Ralf came I noticed someone who resembled Johnnie walk past Tyler and say hello to him.

Giving him a good old stare as he walked towards my direction I couldn’t believe that it was Johnnie. He looked like he had changed so much but maybe it was just the lighting. As he spotted me we smiled at each other, extended hands and greeted as old friends do. Having his hair back in a loose ponytail of waved hair I noticed the trendy City shirt he had on.

Johnnie looked as if his skin was a bit more tanned and he definitely looked like he had grown up into the man he appeared to be. Johnnie hugged a girl as he came to talk to me so I let him get on with the girl but after a little while he came back, sat down next to me and we chatted. Johnnie told me about how he’s been going to Chevy’s for a while and how he never sees me down there.

Strangely, it seemed an odd place to see Johnnie and it felt wrong to see him at Chevy’s but I soon got adjusted to the different Johnnie, probably as he did with me. Johnnie and I talked for a couple of minutes as he told me about his new traineeship and I advised him that I now work in the City. After he told me that his last girlfriend who was 26 year old sister of Brock and Clayton fucked like a bunny we parted our ways. I felt good having talked to Johnnie for the night, it gave induced rhythm to my feet.

Up On The Stage

Tyler was standing up and tapping away with his dignified moves as I was seated and doing the same eager motions. After a while of just sitting down I screamed out to Tyler if he was ready to jump on the dancefloor because I was getting sick of just sitting around. As the both of us made our way down so did the rest of the group following behind us. Tyler made his way up onto the stage as I followed. Ralf also made his appearance on the middle part of the stage and the other two were happier on the floor.

Everyone in Chevy’s was dressed the part and I guess that’s why Keith and Shawn only danced for ten minutes and then jumped off. Johnnie and his two friends came and danced right next to me on the stage which gave me that extra stamp to my step. While on the stage I noticed a couple of people I knew from Campbelltown and later in the night I said hello to some of them. For one, the Lebs as usual were there, probably surveying the area to sell ecstasy.

Speaking of pills, a black guy came up to me while I jumped off the dancefloor and asked if I used to hang out with Mikaere. Not sure if he disliked Mikaere I played it safe by noting that I knew Mikaere but only hung out up there once or twice. What is it with my face and everyone remembering me because if it was up to me to recognize someone I would have trouble doing so. I’m not sure what it was about me that he remembered but he also noted that he noticed me at Olympus Gym while he trained there.

Faces From Campbelltown

Once again, like many people at the Gym do (And I’m not making a big-head deal out of this because it’s true), people glance at me on many occasions when they can at the Gym. I’m not sure what it is about me but there’s some essence that reflects on people enough for them to remember me.

I don’t know if they think I’m a dickhead, a try-hard a sick cunt or if I just fit their part of looking distinct but they remember my face for some reason. Anyway, after this guy made the effort to walk up to me, tap me on the shoulder and chat he offered his parting words that he sold Ecstasy if I wanted to buy. This was almost an anticlimax but a man’s got to do what a man’s got to do.

Other people at Chevy’s were Daphne, the black girl from high school that I used to do Gymnastics with. Wade was also there in which I patted him on the back and we had a quick word. Redd was there with Kobi being their usual selves, not dancing but just standing around. Keith made the effort to point out that Diamond was also at Chevy’s and what’s more, she was out there with Redd and the likes.

There were heaps of girls there dressed in their City attire, killer outfits. There were so many beautiful blondes there tonight that I would bellow under my breath so loud that the people sitting next to us could hear it over the belching music. Believe me, some women there were so extroverted in their clothing that it made me wonder how God could have made one nightclub so lucky and gifted in itself.

Keith Calls Time

The reason we ended up leaving Chevy’s tonight and only after an hour was due to Keith piking it and deciding it was time to go home at 1:30 a.m. Then the moods started dropping like flies as Ralf had to take Keith home and because it was after 1:30 a.m. he wouldn’t be allowed back in. Therefore, Tyler decided it was time to call it a night, aggravated that Keith had ruined another night that he thought was going decently.

A small part wanted me to head home because I didn’t like what I was wearing fully and I wasn’t comfortable with my hair that was just taken out of a ponytail from work and let loose. My hair gets all fucked up and crabby when I am at a nightclub jumping around. At times I wish my hair was shorter and more manageable but then I come back to my sense and realize I still have plenty to try before I become that drastic in my decisions.

If not already noted, I want to get either blonde streaks or frosted hair which would make me appear more of a City clubber. Secondly, I want to get my hair in French Braids or braids of some sort. I really want to change my hair and if I was to get braids for only one weekend, it would be worth it. However, I’m not sure what to spend my money on when it arrives this Monday, if it does that is…

Home Before Two

Heading outside of Chevy’s around 1:30 a.m. Tyler and I went down the street, Keith, Ralf and Shawn went up. As the both of us walked to Tyler’s car we both spewed as to how Keith had ruined a perfectly good night because of his insecurity that he failed to leave at home. Making our way to his car I tried in vain to persuade Tyler to stay at the club but little did I know that we wouldn’t be allowed back in anyway.

Leaving behind an almost-city type nightclub (Well it’s getting there) I was disheartened all the way home, knowing that my night was over before it even started. The most time I would have spent on the dancefloor would have been half an hour and I didn’t even get to taste the women populace. Tyler didn’t really get into it for the night but neither would I if I arrived with people who desired not to dance. Arriving home around 1:40 a.m.

Plans For Saturday

I began on my diary almost immediately and now here I am, to the conclusion of tonight. Again, I haven’t concluded my Wednesday night until this Friday afternoon but I did have the opportunity to write effectively about tonight and bridge some more of that weekday gap. However, now I must get to sleep as the time is 2:50 a.m. and if I am to go ahead with my plans tomorrow it’s best to sleep now. The plans tomorrow are as follows.

Again, I have two options available before me that will decide what my money will be spent on. I can either go window shopping in the City in preparation to buy a shirt and tie on Monday or I can save that money for other purposes like getting my hair braided as well as some money in Credit Card. However, if I give the City a miss I might just head down to Campbelltown, get my chain fixed and then head to the Gym to get my workout done.

If there is anything happening for Saturday night it can only be a visit to watch ‘Austin Powers, The Spy Who Shagged Me’ because that’s all the spare money I have left after buying Binh’s gold chain. Anyway, I have to be off now because my eyes are already in a daze watching this screen flicker with new letters. I shall be off and hope to write in these pages tomorrow in the morning or early afternoon.
