Ace Hands Over the Keys

This I didn’t mind at all and despite the cops being out in full force on Saturday night I weighed the chance of being free for one night against getting fined, it wasn’t hard to pick a victor. Leaving behind Shawn and Ralf to their own devices I looked around for Tyler and then not being able to find him I walked out to the front where Ace had already made his way down the stairs.

The bouncer walked up to me just before I stepped down the stairs and told me “If you walk out you can’t get back in” and to the back-chatting raillery of Ace I knew they had said the same to him and were now enforcing their ruling. Taking another quick look inside I couldn’t find Tyler so I stepped outside and walked past their precious magical line of no return. To the amusement and chide remarks of Ace to the bouncers we headed to his car and as he handed me his keys I opened the doors and we both jumped in.

Settling ourselves into Ace’s car we capped off the night, the goods, the bad and the plans for next week. Those plans being Ace’s brother holding a birthday at Byblos where he’s booked out a room for fifty people and Ace decided to invite a couple of us along. So far I only know of Binh, Tyler and myself being invited and I feel good about heading to Byblos this weekend because Ace’s brother will obviously know a couple of girls and what’s more, Byblos will be full of women.

Dodging Cops on the Bypass

Watching cops drive up and down the main street almost every minute we were getting a bit anxious as when to start the car and leave. Ace was paranoid about the cops waiting for us to leave and I just wanted to know what I should do if I did get pulled over. Without any distress or anxiety I started the car, turned the lights on and headed out of our parked position, on our way to Ace’s house.

Driving down Queen Street we headed up the Bypass and it was all smooth until our hearts stopped when we noticed that a car had just been pulled over by a cop in front of us. What’s more, the cop was just pulling away so I had to slow down a little below the speed limit to see in which direction he would head off and as he pulled back into Queen Street I headed to the right of the lights.

Heading past the Road Pantry and then following that road I took the new bridge and then followed the highway until I reached the turn off for Raby. From there it was smooth sailing as we headed up Ace’s Street and then I dropped him off out the front of his house.

“Take the car back to your house tonight, watch out for cops and then return it to me tomorrow morning some time” he uttered and with that I agreed and then doing up my belt I was on my way. All alone and worried that I would get pulled over by cops (Murphy’s Law) I started driving slow and rode all the back streets home, trying to keep off the main roads.

Taking the Long Way Home

The time was 3:30 a.m. when I started heading home and it took me twenty minutes to half an hour before I finally parked at the front of my house simply because I was enjoying driving around by myself and to my own directions. I was free and I wasn’t going to let the little fault of having no license and cops swarming all the streets just praying for people like me to stop my adventure.

Once out of the little streets and onto the main road at Raby (The big long one) I headed down a side street thinking it would take me past Claymore and then to Blaxland Road but I got lost and ended up driving to the top of Minto where Pizza Hut was. From there I headed down the steep road back onto the main road towards Woodbine Macdonald’s but I turned off onto the new Leumeah bridge.

From there I headed to Lyssa’s house, turned on the colder-sack and headed up the main road until I got onto that long road heading the back way towards Airds and past Ruse. Down this long straight was the only time I really gave the car some desired balls in which I gained speed and momentum to 140 Km/h with no traffic around. I found also that it was easy to spin the tires in this automatic when turning corners at slow speeds because it was still wet on the roads from earlier rain.

I also found that the breaks never locked up and they had great potential and strength in slowing down, sort of like anti-lock brakes. Anyway, I headed past Keith’s house, headed into that big long street where Imad’s old house used to be, onto a main suburban road in St. Andrews until I reached the lights to get onto St. Johns Road.

You would think that this would have been the end of the night for me but I headed down to Bradbury shops, up around that area, up Janice’s street and then I done a circle of my street before finally stopping out the front and calling it a night. The vibe to head for Liverpool or some place out of Campbelltown was running through my mind but I knew it wouldn’t be a well thought out idea so I held off my independence for when I finally bought a car. Driving Ace’s car didn’t compel me to think thoughts of buying a car as soon as possible, I’m still the same, first and foremost laptop computer, then clothes.

Waking Up Lyssa

Saturday night I didn’t get to sleep until 4:00 a.m. which was then Sunday early morning. Winding up my alarm clock and setting it for 10:00 a.m. I wanted to be ready to drop off Ace’s car and then head out to the day out at Wollongong North Beach. Getting myself to sleep on Saturday night wasn’t a problem and neither was getting up at 9:30 a.m.

The excitement of a new day and a further adventure inverted my will to sleep and after having something to eat I gave Lyssa a call at 10:00 a.m. After a few rings her mum answered the phone and what I found surprising was she asked me “Do you really want me to wake her”. Feeling that her mum had said this only because it was me and I technically shouldn’t be talking to Lyssa anymore I remarked that it was important so she woke Lyssa up.

Another thought that ran through my mind was that Lyssa might have had some friends over or possibly Ralf but I knew he would be sleeping on the couch. Lyssa still sounded asleep when she answered the phone so I had to do my usual speaking up and quick, sharp comments to get her out of that sluggish mode.

Plans for the Television

My plans were to head to Lyssa’s house and show her the television because I could see a golden opportunity and possibly the only opportunity for Lyssa to see and claim the television. From what I had known, Keith talked to Binh about the television that Saturday night at the Catholic Club but from what I had heard, Binh didn’t want it because I had already asked for it. I also wanted Lyssa to know and see me driving a car by myself, so another one of those little wishes of ours could come true, only too late.

Lyssa and I always thought it would be great if I had a car and I could drive the both of us somewhere and even though I was only driving to Lyssa’s house, the thrill of her knowing that I had the car all to myself was enough of a rush. Lyssa didn’t sound very eager as she usually is when I told her I would come over and as usual, people usually say “Can you drive” if you tell them you don’t have a license.

Lyssa was one of those cynical people. Lyssa was one of those people that upon hearing “I’m driving” and knowing I can’t drive would answer “Are you driving by yourself”, tending to emphasize and lengthen the last word. Howeverso, Lyssa needed half an hour to have a shower and wake up and as much as I wanted to jump in that car I held off my anxious will for that amount of time.

Giving Ace a call just after my telephoning Lyssa I told him that I would be under the hour and then prepared myself to head out. Just as the time reached 10:30 a.m. I was just about to take the television that Keith left at my house into Ace’s car but I heard a knock at the front door. Wondering who it could be I found that it was Binh and let him into my room.

Oblivious to whose car was out the front I told him of my plans to drop off Ace’s car and then as he told me he had no interest in the television we loaded it up into Ace’s car and were off. Mum has eagle eyes in which she noted to me about the car out the front of our house, in turn finding out that I was driving alone and without a license. Ace gave me a license last night to use if I get pulled over and apart from it being expired the guy didn’t look anything like me.

Delivering the Television

Binh drove behind me for the entire length to Lyssa’s house as we went through the Ruse area and into the back part towards her house. Parking out the front of her house and leaving the engine running I jumped out of the cruise mobile and knocked on her front door. Lyssa’s mum was the lady to answer the door as she ushered me inside and as I stepped foot into her house Lyssa popped up from the bathroom.

“Who’s out the front,” she asked as I told her it was Binh but later she told me that she thought Ace was out the front with me. “Let me put something on” she uttered and with that I just told her that I would bring the television into her house so she could keep it just as long as she could pay it off. It made me look at Lyssa in contumely passion when she bargained “I’ll buy it off him for $110”.

Knowing that I didn’t have time to sit there and explain to Lyssa that I had already tried to get the price down for her I just explained “I’ll pay the remainder $40” and with her agreement I was out the door and off to the rest of my day. Really, I don’t know why I go out of my way for Lyssa sometimes because the best thank you I get is hassles about money instead of gratitude.

It was more appalling when Lyssa flatly accepted my offer to reimburse the rest of her payment but she knows no better. I’m not asking for sex or encouragement, I’m just asking for gratitude and acknowledgement. All through my time that I went out with Lyssa up until today I have never felt the authenticity of gratitude from Lyssa. Of course she has been resplendent to my bids of making her happy and she has been grateful but not to a distinguishable level.

Actually, Lyssa does become grateful during sex when I used to give her multiple happiness but I rarely got mine back for it and if I did she wouldn’t have put as much enterprise into her pleasuring venture. These three words of explanation come into mind when currently explaining Lyssa, money hungry, ungrateful to a noticeable extent and oblivious. What more I have to say is none about this subject as I gave her the television, jumped in the car and headed off with Binh to Ace’s house.
