Making Things Happen
Today there is none more than salient news, good news, for the direction of these days. If there is one universal truth about me apart from being stubborn and timid to opening up it would have to be my ability to make things happen instead of just sitting back and hoping that it will jump into my lap.
This used to be my philosophy some years ago and in the middle stages of my unemployment last year but these past few months and since my recognition of the ending of the lost years era I have been trying to do nothing but good for myself. Every single day in this month save for one I have picked myself out of this slumberous pit of delusion darkness and explored new days, new memories.
I am now glad to say that I have also found my groove of poetry and with it, my enthusiasm to write chronology and philosophy within this diary. That first little four line poem I wrote not too long ago was a stepping stone for me to have written such a remarkable act from a play. Now with this strength and confidence that I am not lost of my poetry, I write more zealously to these pages, from this day forth.
Spending Big in the City
My willful boon has so greatly aspired me that I went crazy on buying clothes today in the City. All in all, I spent all cash in hand except for two visits to the Gym and I depleted my Credit Card to zero despite my arrears bill coming in today. The way I figure now, with this booming boldness, if I’m going to lose everything as a result of Centrelink, I might as well spend big and go out in style. Bills will only bankrupt me more the more I pay so spend I shall so that I can be happier, not despondent for another day.
Muscles and Kilos Lost
O how these muscles ache from which workout I completed on Monday afternoon, Thus far, I have been able to feel the hurt after each workout I have accomplished with light weights which states I must be using form and going all out. Right now my Triceps ache more than they have from prior workouts, my Chest has a rather ominous stretch, my forearms hold a twitch of torture and my back, like never before, has it some feeling of content.
Hardest worked I feel has been my body in this, my latest workout, despite the lack of weight, it was well worked. What my final conclusion is, what I want my body to look like, I will achieve it. Measuring myself on the scales at the Gym I weighed 81.5 Kilos which means I lost a fair three kilos.
However, I feel that my lack of eating in the mornings (Not for the sake of starving myself) is making a beneficial change to making me skinnier in the stomach for the likes of which I have noticed. The reason I don’t eat in the mornings is either because I want to have a shower first and because I brush my teeth I don’t want to brush again.
Then there are the times, like yesterday and today, where I am busy, I lose focus of my thought on food and then I have to hurry out for a couple of hours. This happened to me yesterday morning where I woke up, jotted down some points in my computer and without eating (Because I had brushed my teeth), I made my way to Campbelltown.
Today I also almost missed out completely on food and had it not been for the meat pie I ate in the morning I would have been more starved on the way home.
Gluttony Gets a Go
Last night for some reason I had the major munchies. I’m not sure if it was the fact that I had money in hand or if it was a genuine thought of gluttony but after eating mum’s chicken, hot chips and broccoli I headed to the shops to buy myself a Vienetta Ice Cream (600g). This time around it was Honeycomb and I was surprised how I had munched through the whole thing before Ally Mcbeal had even finished.
Earlier in the day when coming back from Campbelltown I stopped off at Bradbury shops to buy myself some hot chips and three bananas, the likes of which I had eaten after my workout. Gluttony sure was such a benign character when best I needed him, as money did play her purpose from my hand to my stomach.
My Crabby Phone
Beginning now with Monday’s chronology, let us enter upon it subsequent to my concluded diary entry. If not already noted, (And duly will do now), I called the Mac Operator Position on Monday morning but I only spoke to the Receptionist. The employer was busy and I asked for him to call me back but that never ended up happening. Despite that, I wasn’t sticking around at home, waiting for someone to call on my crabby phone so I headed out to Campbelltown just after midday.
Speaking of my crabby phone, it has always been crackly with bad reception at times but never as inadequate as what these last three days have delivered. Ever since I last used Shawn’s modem the crackling has erupted to such a degree that I can hardly hear what the other person is saying. On top of that, when I pick up the phone to make a call it sounds like the telephone is picked up, sort of an airy sound.
It gives me a feeling that the phone is tapped but of course, it’s not. When I do dial I can hardly hear myself through the crackling and as I just called Keith then, he answered but there was a busy tone in the background. It sounded as if I had cross-wires with my own phone and I felt like I was using two different extensions on the one phone.
When I pick up to dial it rings through on one line but after a couple of seconds you hear faintly but distinctively in the background, a busy tone or a tone that clicks on when you take too long. I’ve learnt from examining my phone and the one upstairs that it was within the phone itself and as noted, I called Telstra this morning to come over and check it out. Who knows how long they will take but, who knows how long I can take this faulty line.
Trek to Campbelltown
Beginning on my trek to Campbelltown, the sun was fairly warm as I strode my diligent but unsaid paces towards my bearing. The first place of business I did attend was Commonwealth Bank which was a palpable reticence from the usual crowds. Hoping that I would get to chat with the chick who reminds me of Jaromir old girlfriend it felt like she was holding off people so she could get me but instead, I got another girl. Despite this I paid $25 towards my bill and from there I was off to further business.
Heading to Centrelink I made my was straight to the back area where I did notice three girls and one guy fooling around with the photocopier and fax machine. One of them was tall and good looking with a nice firm ass through those tight pants but she had a lanky boyfriend, thin, young, unable to grow chin whiskers. They were photocopying their hand and sending stupid faxes, you know, childish shit. However, this didn’t bother me as I made my way to a desk and borrowed a pen from one of the girls who were sitting down at the fax machine.
She probably thought I was trying to smooth my moves on her but that wasn’t the case. Writing out my header I waited patiently as they fooled around and then they asked me how to send a fax in which I helped them out cordially. When finally they were finished I sent through my résumé as I watched them all walk past the glass windows outside, such a beautiful ass.
