Madden Season With Shawn

Initiating my chronology now, let us begin with concluding my Saturday night. Beginning after my conversation with Phoenix, I remember calling Shawn and asking him if he wanted to come over for the day so we could play the Play Station. He was fine with that but first he had to wait for his dad so he could go vote at Bradbury school.

Tired became my eyes after the phone call and only having slept no more than five hours on Friday night I decided to get myself some quick sleep before Shawn arrived. The time was around 1:30 p.m. when I decided getting to sleep because I remember thinking Lyssa would be at her hair appointment. When waking up I heard my mum informing me that someone was at the door and seeing that it was 3:00 p.m. I gathered Shawn was at my house.

Inviting him in we set up the Play Station and then continuing back up on our season we played our season for the whole night. Through the night Keith did ring asking if we wanted to go out but I didn’t favor the idea of heading out to Subway because it’s getting tiring. So, for the whole night and until 9:00 a.m. in the morning we played John Madden Football.

Playing our season it was a turn each to play our team’s game. Where I was San Francisco 49ers and Shawn was Denver we played piece meal for the whole time. Shawn did not lose a single game in his season where I lost a total of four to the computer in which we played all the way through.

My last games in the finals were fairly tough and they were down to the bone but I lost on the last game leading to the Super Bowl against Shawn. This was lost in overtime as the scores were tied and I could have done so much to win but in the end I lost it when my luck had run out. The both of us won mostly all the coin tosses and that was my lucky charm in my last sudden death game but I did not capitalize.

Shawn played his last game against the Raiders as I watched with weary eyes drooping and almost nodding off to sleep. When Shawn had finished his game we checked the statistics as we usually do and then it was time for him to head home. Instead of calling someone to pick him up he decided to walk home and as soon as he had left I slumped onto my bed and got some sleep.

A Mystery Call on Sunday

With that now being all of my Saturday, let me begin on the more foreboding Sunday. My day began at 2:00 p.m. when I did receive a phone call and picking it up I was surprised to hear a female’s voice I had never heard before. “Hello” she uttered and curiously I responded back.

Even though I was coming out of my nap I knew that it was either a prank call or someone I hadn’t talked to for a long time so I kept with their game. “Do you know who I am” she asked and not wanting to take a guess but thinking of the possibility that it could be Marley I kept my thoughts to myself.

Soon the girl starting asking questions like what my name was and seeing no harm in giving my first name I asked for hers. “You know, I find the humor in this call because I used to prank people back in the day too”, I uttered. When she responded I remarked “I bet you do this all the time” and her reaction was of disgression to say “No, this is the first time I’ve tried to prank someone in three years.

Isla and Lorna

With our conversation now being less derogatory and more inquisitive and friendly we started finding things out about each other. Just being a day out of my disastrous night with Lyssa and then the irony and relief of not being satisfied by Phoenix I had seen these two lady mystery callers as the people who could satisfy my needs. There were two girls, one who was called Isla, the other called Lorna.

With one being 16 years old and the other being 18 they sounded very playful over the phone and I could tell by their tone of voice that they were girls who liked playing little games. As we got further into our conversation we worked out that we both knew the same people, people like Mikaere, Uati and Manson amongst others. “It’s a small world” she voiced as I learnt one of them got onto Uati and then gloated about having gotten onto Manson. The Manson that I’m talking about is Sofia’s brother so as not to mistake him with another.

Figuring that she had gotten onto these two people I didn’t consider her to be much of an attractive person but as I got their details I was drawn like I knew I would to the blonde called Isla. The conversation was fairly tight lipped for a while as I showed I didn’t really care about the two women and my mistake I thought was showing I didn’t care. “I guess you don’t mind if we hang up then” one of them remarked and not pausing to reveal the truth I said I didn’t care and that was the end of the conversation.

Reading Poetry to a Stranger

Kicking myself when I did actually hang up the phone I knew that this could have been my chance to get some pussy (For lack of a better word) and as I got to sleep I hoped they would call back. In our conversation I told them that I was poetical and one of the girls asked if I would read out one of my poems.

I felt this would be a great chance to see if it would have an impact on someone less fundamental and when I did read my poem she was astounded. “Wow, how can you write like that” and she went on to say “If you didn’t tell me what that poem was about I would never have guessed it”. The poem I actually read to her was a short exert from the poem that begins ‘All my spoils upon thy spoiled hand as such’. This did give me a boost to my confidence as a poet but alack, it has not decreased the dent called writer’s block.

Come Over to Our House

Blaming myself for my stupidity in letting them hang up the phone I had a gut feeling that they would call back and in five minutes that call did arrive. When we once again started talking they were hinting for me to head over to their house. “Come on, come over our house” was continually being blurted out by Lorna who obviously wanted to put a face to the wonder but I was cautious about it.

Finding out that they lived at the top of Dumaresq Street near the flats I had them give me their address. They asked for where I lived but I didn’t tell them much, only my street name. The girls also gave me their phone number to ring so they could prove that they weren’t lying to me and as they kept bidding me to head to their house I kept saying no.

Walking would have been too much of a hassle as I was just waking up and it was sunny outside. Preferring for them to head to my house they didn’t want to do that either. Discussing that I liked R & B Isla told me that Lorna would get onto me any day and she was lifting up her top and showing her boobs because of it. This told me that the two girls were fairly close to each other and that a threesome wouldn’t be out of the question if anything did happen so I decided that I would listen to their insistence and head to their house.

Walking to the Flats

Hanging up the phone and informing them that I was on my way I listened to some music and had something to eat. While getting ready they told me they would be sitting out the front of their flats waiting for me, it sounded all innocent enough. By the way we were hinting to each other over the phone I thought that once I was there we would head in and get it on, it turned out to be a different story.

Making my way to her street I cut across the hall that Ralf and Shawn held their 21st birthday parties and hoping I would be able to see the girls before they had seen me I had no such luck. My plans were to at least front them but if they were both horrid I was going to run. However, they weren’t where I thought they would be so I walked down the street to find the flats they told me of, numbers 86 to 88.

Hide and Seek at the Fence

Seeing that there was no one out the front of the flats I walked around the back to see if they were inside and looking out but I had no such luck. Coming back out I started making my way down to Campbelltown when I heard someone call out my name. Stopping I thought to turn back but seeing no one come out into light I kept walking. Once again I heard my name called out so I thought to stop and head to the front of the flats where I leant on the brick wall.

The area was silent for the minute or two I waited there casually looking around and it was only when I jumped up and started walking away that I was called again. Knowing that the two girls were playing a game I decided to play along and noticing that the voice came from the shittest looking house on the street I walked to the front fence.

There was a dog and a cat at the front and the door was slightly opened. This told me that the girls were just behind the door and hiding from my view because I had seen the door close slightly upon making my way there. Patting the dog I looked in and then started once again to walk away because I knew now I was part of their joke.

Chasing a Blonde Past the School

Making my way to Campbelltown I kept hearing them call my name and when I was a fair way from them I looked back only to see them hide for cover. Still I kept walking and when I looked back again I noticed the bleached blonde hair, it did look somewhat appealing. Rounding the corner of Dumaresq Street and not crossing the highway I gathered they would follow me down to continue with their game.

Picking up the pace and jogging to the next street I thought I would cut through the school and cut them off but as I got to the fence I noticed the two girls in the school about to jump the fence. Within meters of me the one I think who is Lorna quickly ran away and the blonde turned and slowly walked away trying to act calm. Deciding not to call for them or chase them down easily I watched Isla walk away.

What I noticed apart from her nice blonde hair was the fact that she had a pair of mean thighs on her, they were a bit chunky. The rest of her body was pretty much in order but I couldn’t help to look at her chunky thighs as she walked until she was out of my sight and then ran. I did give some chase when they were out of range but by this time they were well on their way back to the house.

For the next fifteen minutes I circled their block once or twice so I could catch them out and I done so but I could never really get a good look at them. With this I decided to make my trek back home as they had wasted enough of my time already.

They Call Back With a Game

The time had drawn to 5:00 p.m. when I came back home and giving them a call back she was on the phone. They offered to call me back but I didn’t have too much trust in their calling me back.

However, they did live up to their promise and once calling me their first words were “So, did you like our little game”. Sounding calm and not misplaced I played my own little game with them and didn’t falter when they tried to claim a victory. They tried to unsteady me by saying that they didn’t like what they had seen, they didn’t see me at all or I had no chance being a bad boy for them but instead of abusing them I just sat there patiently, waiting for my time.

My Crazed Laugh Down the Phone

Finally starting it with my crazed Mortimer laugh they started to get a slight tangency of paranoia. “What’s so funny” they queried and as I gave no answer they became more ruffled. Slowly I began into a tale of how they shouldn’t have given me their phone number. Sounding rather chilling in my voice I also told them that now I knew where they lived, I knew who they knew, I knew who they were and everything else that incited fear.

Lorna started getting defensive in her voice and Isla was the one to try and create order through her calming voice. “Lorna doesn’t like it when people place threats upon her or her house” she uttered and I felt rather vindicated for what they had done. Lorna got to the point where she had to jump off the phone in anger so that gave me time to chat to Isla. I gather that I would have placed some anxiety and fear into her with my strangely complementing voice but I did have a slight knack for her.

A Boyfriend Comes on the Line

Our conversation ended when the girls got tired of me but Isla was eager to see our conversation through. For some reason I made it apparent that I didn’t believe she had a boyfriend so I gather it was just her fear that I might stalk her that had her ring me back up and put a guy on the phone.

When this phone call did arrive she said, “Look, you didn’t believe me, here he is” and instead of hanging up I just kept on the phone. Sounding Lebanese but around my age I thought to act myself as he did about himself. He sounded as if he wasn’t too sure why he wasn’t on the phone but he thought to make himself the man.

Somewhere in our conversation I said something demeaning about him and he thought to say “Well, why don’t you come here and we’ll make something of it”. He sounded as if he was only saying it because the girls were around and knowing he didn’t want to get into a fight because of the two girls I told him to take himself out of the middle of the squabble and he was happy to. His parting words were “Just don’t hassle the girls out okay” and I relented in my words but that was the end of our conversation.
