Waiting By The Phone
It’s really irritating when you ask someone to call you back and they never do. For three hours I’ve been sitting here waiting for Lyssa to call me from her house and the reason I came home so early tonight was for that call but Lyssa didn’t come through. At her house she has been sitting having the night I should have been partaking in with her but somewhere along the line our decisions took too long and Penelope and Ali snuck into the picture.
To even think of the three of them sitting alone at Lyssa’s house watching movies makes me sick. Knowing that Penelope is a deviate at heart and the words ‘Threesome’ does strike a nerve in my mind. Penelope is no angel and neither is Ali and if it ever came to them trying to talk Lyssa into a threesome, they would win because Lyssa has no say in much matters. Lyssa would eventually cave in because the both of them will use cunning words to play with her mind, that’s what I feel.
What is my sudden fascination with Lyssa, what does it all mean. The fact that Lyssa is pushing me further away by not calling me tonight doesn’t make me want her more but it does make me angry. If you make a plan to give someone a call what’s so hard about picking up a phone after Ali and Penelope have left and she’s all alone. Her mum’s gone out on a date tonight with her old boyfriend and Kuper has gone to Carleigh’s house. Doubts are to the fact that the three of them could still be chatting at Lyssa’s house but I know that won’t be happening.
Checking For Missed Calls
Ali and Penelope were supposed to bring over a movie and watch it and I guess that’s what they done. Tonight I was at Tyler’s birthday party and coming home at midnight to call Lyssa I done just that. Firstly I called *10# which when rung tells you of the last unanswered call. That didn’t show up so I knew that Lyssa hadn’t given me a call at the time we planned 11:00 p.m. Giving Lyssa a call she answered the phone within the first ring but she told me that the three of them were watching the movie at that moment.
My guess was that they were all talking in the kitchen as that’s where the phone is and hearing no volume I gathered that Lyssa couldn’t have ran all the way from the lounge room to the kitchen in two seconds. Still I haven’t received a call from Lyssa and once again like Lyssa has done to me one or two nights ago (Not calling me back) I will go to sleep frustrated again. Let me now speak of my confronting day.
A Surprise Call From Kuper
Sleep was robbed from me right on midday which would now have been Friday. Curious I was to know who was speaking on the other end and as the first words were spoken I was surprised to find it was Kuper. For the next fifteen minutes we talked with each other about how we were, how he along with me visits Bradbury Gym and how everyone else is. Spoken were some loose plans to head for the beach some time this summer with Kuper and as he agreed he also made some plans for himself to have a workout with me at Olympus Gym on Monday.
Kuper usually goes at 10:00 a.m. and those times are best for Binh as he needs a spot at those times. So Monday Kuper and I are headed to the Gym together and maybe he can help me with a heavier weight for the Chest. The time will be changed to around 11:30 a.m. if we end up going together and the workout should be good.
Plans That Went Nowhere
From that call I gave Lyssa a call at work and I remember talking to her at 12:30 p.m. and then once again at 3:00 p.m. The conversation was based on Friday night and how Lyssa wanted me to come over but as I told her I would think upon it and really wanted to go over I also told her that I had a party to go to if it was still happening.
Lyssa is headed into the City for Saturday so I probably won’t get to talk with her when I wake up. That was also one of the reasons I chose not to head for Lyssa’s house. Apart from the fact that her mum was coming back at 1:00 a.m. from her date and I would have to catch the last train to Campbelltown and walk the rest of the way home I couldn’t sleep over her house because she was headed out early in the morning.
Lyssa didn’t want to sleep over my house because of that same reason and I’m sort of glad we didn’t get together because Lyssa is very close to her period and if anything happened it could have resulted in problems which never happens anyway.
Lyssa Plays By The Rules
Calling Lyssa back at 3:00 p.m. she was supposed to give me a call for her lunch break but instead she spent that time on the phone talking to Penelope and didn’t have enough time to give me a call. Lyssa’s getting a bit rude now with phone calls. Just a couple of night’s ago Lyssa was upset over the fact that I never called her anymore (Which isn’t true) and now that I’m calling her most of the time she never returns my calls.
This sort of sounds like ‘The Rules’ that Lyssa is playing by but I will take no part in it and if Lyssa is playing by ‘The Rules’ (Which she probably isn’t) then I will naturally be angry. Conversing about her call with Penelope Lyssa told me that Ali had fainted at work today because for the last couple of days he can’t eat and he’s been feeling sick. Ali was driven home and Penelope had to go see him at 4:00 p.m. or something like that.
Lyssa then told me that Penelope and her might be doing something for the night, she just had to wait until 6:00 p.m. to find out and by this time Lyssa and I hadn’t sorted out if we were spending our time together. Now it was up to whether or not Lyssa was going out with Penelope and not wanting Lyssa’s decisions to make my decisions I just told her that I’ll be heading for the party but to give me a call after Penelope calls her to inform me on what they are doing anyway.
For sleeps sake I was on and off with my head upon the pillow until 2:30 p.m. when I actually woke up properly. That’s when I gave Lyssa her second call but since I’ve explained that let’s talk about the rest of my chronology. Having myself a shower I headed off to Campbelltown after listening to some of my music and getting dressed.
Bumping Into Yoram
Just before getting to Campbelltown I bumped into Yoram who was in my Gridiron team two years back. Yoram remembered my name as he called me from his rented house across the street from where I was standing. On Dumaresq street is where he lived and figuring I should have a talk with him I headed over there and we talked Gridiron for a couple of minutes before I headed back off to Campbelltown.
Window Shopping For Stereos
The aim of this trip was to check out some sound systems that I could possibly buy for Lyssa in a month’s time or so. There were two shops I checked out and in both I found a sound system with separate speakers that were in range of the price I wanted to spend and I could also connect Lyssa’s speakers to them. Heading into the Mall to check out ‘Chandlers’ I noticed the girl that I had seen a couple of days ago at the Key Engraving place.
The Girl From Key Engraving
At the time she was buying an ice-cream and she had the maddest body and a skirt that glorified the perfect shape of her legs. Today she was wearing a halter-neck black glitter top and her hair just brought out her whole image. This girl is hot shit and I would love to know her name, better yet I would love to know her.
Rain And A Lucky Lift
Walking back home after I found what I was looking for it started to rain as I headed past Ralf’s house and lucky for me he was heading down the road and picked me up. Ralf had just been at my house and as I jumped into his car we headed to the Road Pantry so he could buy a drink. On the way I noticed Kofi walking towards the road we were driving on then a few meters up the street was Gus in the median strip and then on the other side of the road I noticed Imad driving.
Three people I knew in the space of a couple of meters, that’s got to be some kind of achievement worth of a medal for my eyes. While there I asked if the position was still vacant that they had placed in the Advertiser and as the lady told me the night shift spot was still available she informed me that I should drop in a Resume before the night was over. With that in mind Ralf decided to drive to Keith’s work so we could have a talk to him about the night ahead.
