Trying to get into the Club we realized that not only was it sold out but it was packed out. Keith looked at this as the end of the night and figuring that we would get bored without a nightclub for atmosphere he picked up the payphone against my better judgment and in a panicking sort of style called for Simon. Speaking at first with Phoenix he tried to get Simon onto the phone but she was being a bitch and wouldn’t put him on. Phoenix hung up on Keith the first time and he called back wasting a couple of dollars worth of phone time calling them back all the time. The second time he talked to Simon and he told us he was turning back but didn’t sound too enthusiastic about it. Pleading for Keith to hang up the phone and enjoy himself for my sake he was too worried that Simon would dog us and it was turning out that way. The way Keith had seen it, Shawn and Simon had gotten rid of the two people that were the strongest competition and they weren’t turning around for their plans to be ruined. Keith kept trying and when he got sick of talking around in circles and Simon not believing him he put me onto the phone to try my luck.
While at the phone I noticed this one blonde with a red top and while she was seated on a sofa you could see her entire eighteen-year-old beautiful leg and ass as the split ran all the way up her leg. There wasn’t much left to the imagination with her leg and looking drained of energy and with a fair bit of makeup on I thought apart from the last comment that she was hot shit. Before calling on the phone we tried to sneak into the nightclub but there was a bouncer at the door. Walking up to the bouncer I walked behind a group of people and as they all showed the stamps on their hands I held mind out being sarcastic in my bid to get inside. That plot failed us miserably however, which prompted from me a big grin when looking at the security. Trying to get both Keith and I inside for half an hour the security was persistent so I just shook his hand (Like Islanders tend to do it) and we were off.
When Keith got me to give Phoenix a call it was against my principles but once talking to her she started to piss me off. Not wanting to ruin my mood I became abrupt in my conversation demanding that she put on Simon but because she was all the way over there and I was so far over here she thought she could be a smart ass in front of all in the car. That pissed me off and as I called her a bitch she said, “Don’t call me a bitch” and hung up the phone. That pissed me off more than anything and with that attitude I walked around the club. Walking in and out of Penrith Panthers awaiting Simon to arrive was a chore. We must have passed front reception and the guards at least a dozen times and we came so often that when one of the security went to check my ID the other security announced “Don’t worry about them, they’re all right.” It made me feel like I was on the ‘A’ list.
Keith must have called Simon at least ten times but on his last phone call Simon finally turned the car around and started heading back. Simon didn’t believe that the nightclub was sold out, that was his excuse not to turn back. Keith was just worried that he had to catch a train home at 6:00 a.m. in the morning because he barely had money and he had work the next day. Finally, we made our way out to the car park and still, beautiful women were outside, they were everywhere and my impulses were always to squeal inside of my voice, not moving my mouth. The night was now coming to an end and most of the adventure had been accomplished.
Arriving back at Shawn’s parked car was Simon. Before this I got pissed off and decided to spend the money that Simon had given me on the pokies. The money was gambled on the 5-cent machines and I didn’t think it would disappear that quickly but it did. All the double ups we tried didn’t go our way, how fucked.
Making our way to Simon’s car Keith decided to have his go at Simon for not turning back. As they both had their go at each other and Simon defended himself I kept my thoughts to myself and with my back turned to all the action said no word. Looking like the calm and collective soul that I was everyone knew that I would be angry and when I showed my anger everyone was dumbfounded at the brutal silence it created. My anger came upon me for a number of reasons after a chilling silence. For one, Simon made a joke about Keith and everyone in the car laughed, all but Keith and I who were not amused. That pissed me off but not as much as the fact that Phoenix was still sitting in the back seat of Simon’s car with Shawn instead of jumping into his car. Simon was asking what we were going to do now and I thought it was stupid how Shawn and Phoenix kept their seats in Simon’s car if we all wanted to get somewhere. The last straw came when Simon said “Oh okay, I’m the big bad guy now am I.” Simon’s remark made me snap and opening the car door to where I was laying across I came across Phoenix seated in the back seat.
“Get out of the car” I ordered of her and her answer was “No, why should I.” That really fucked up my mind and as I answered, “If you don’t get the fuck up I’m going to slap you” I grabbed her hand and tried to yank her out. Phoenix didn’t budge but then she broke out into a hissy fit and cried out “That’s it, I’m going, I’m walking home.” I knew she was seeking attention however because she was afraid to refuse me point blank. As if she was going to walk home anyway. As the situation escalated, Simon cried out, “Why did you do that for,” upon seeing Phoenix storming away, as if the anticipated drama in picking me up had transpired. He was curious about my snappy attitude wondering why it had to happen but my answer was simple. “She was in my seat and I don’t appreciate how she treated me like shit over the phone.” Following my retort Simon chased after Phoenix, and while he did, the penchant for revenge came alive, as we put Keith’s design into effect. I asked him to throw me Simon’s car keys as Keith and I then headed for Panthers once again. Keith’s punishment for their act of betrayal was to piss off Simon and the rest of them, and to meanwhile get back at them by stealing Simon’s keys and walking into the club where they could not follow us, and as we stole ourselves away that plan worked to perfection, as gleaming with a purged strut we made our journey back into charted territory. As we walked away into distant darkness, we noticed Shawn too busily in contemplation before he too ran off to comfort Phoenix. He didn’t want to lose out on all his effort after all, and our situation had already run its course, so for the sake of pussy and all the wrong reasons, he hushed his dignity and stole himself too away, to Phoenix’s side, the one Simon had not circled to yet.
Keith and I had ourselves a good time trying to get into the nightclub once again but the bouncers did not allow us any chance to enter. Staying for a couple of minutes we thought that would be enough time to teach Simon and the rest of the dogs a lesson. My behavior before that little anger I showed towards Phoenix had broken everyone into two sections except for Ralf who wanted nothing to do with it as usual. Walking back to Simon’s car, Phoenix, Shawn and Simon were still gone, comforting queen bitch herself. Ralf had that evil eye look and was obviously discouraged by what had happened but he just ran with the punches. Keith called Phoenix’s mobile phone and still teary eyed he asked her to come back apologizing for my actions; not that she would ever hear it from me.
