Pestering Keith About Petrol
When we finally did leave at 4:30 a.m. it was because Keith was having a whinge about how he wanted to get home to sleep. After teasing him by playing one more game as he got ready to head off we headed for the car and for home. The three of us were tired on the way home but I didn’t fail in annoying Keith by continually bitching about his being greedy and flicking his ear with the cards.
Simon asked when Keith was going to put the $5 worth of petrol in his car but as I have noted, Keith tried to wriggle out of it which he has done. Because Keith was being such a bastard I tried to make him feel real bad so that he would just give Simon the money but he was so hard pressed that I didn’t stand a chance to part Keith with his idolized money. Insults in the form of how Keith uses Eftpos to be greedy and the whole shebang was grafted onto his conscience and I knew it was annoying him because he uttered “Oh why don’t you just quit it” every minute.
Sonnets and No Sleep
Finally making my way home around 4:45 a.m. I watched some television, read some Edmund Ironside and then tried to get myself to sleep but it just didn’t work. Like I have noted, I tried sleeping for one or two hours but I just woke up and pursued my poetical thought. Hence I did create a Sonnet that I have already placed in these pages of the Diary.
Eight Sonnets a month, do you think that is too rich an ask. Has my steam run out when Summer ended or have I still more stations to stop at where passengers of poetry can board my mind. These poetical thoughts are far from overrun and though I do not have an abundance of ten syllable lines to chose from I am coping with these deliberations. The time I actually got myself to sleep on Saturday was at midday and I woke up that Saturday afternoon at 5:30 p.m.
Planning Jett’s Birthday
Just a couple of pointers before I decide to either get off this Diary or keep going with Saturday’s events, probably the first. Eros Theatre is on next weekend to the best of my knowledge for Jett’s birthday. Now I hope he doesn’t do his usual cancellation because he’s going out with Min-Su but if it does happen I have hopes that much people will go.
Apart from our usual group and Maddox I asked Hamish if he wants to go and I’ll also try people like Ace, Tyler, Ned, Binh and maybe even Pari from the Gym. Speaking of Tyler and Ace, the both of them have teamed up in the past few weeks to head off to Molly’s Tavern in Camden.
They both dress as I do and I know that if I was going out with them instead of just with Ralf I would be having much more fun. With Ralf I skip a whole generation or adaptability to be intelligible with him in the mind. With Ace or Tyler I feel like they know where I’m coming from and I am more able to get lose and lose my self-conscious attitude around them than with Ralf.
Credit Card Trouble
Switching now to more personal news, my financial status. Having called up the Commonwealth Bank phone service I found that the amount that is supposed to be in my Credit Card is short by at least $25. This really pissed me off because I needed that money to pay for my phone bill and if they have fucked me up where I can’t get back my money I’ll be extremely pissed off. It couldn’t have come at a worse time because now I have to wait until Tuesday until I can finally check out what was wrong.
Lyssa Stays Silent
Some more news is that Lyssa once again didn’t call me for Friday or Saturday night and I don’t believe she will be calling me today. One week of abstinence truly is a case for the both of us but I am usually the one who causes the holding out. Lyssa is truly sticking to her guns where she probably believes that if she calls me she’ll be losing her own battle.
On top of that, I feel that if Lyssa calls me she will feel as if she wished never to have called me. In this one week without Lyssa to be calling me I have tried to break free and I have had many chances but many kicks in the face. Those include the two girls, Phoenix and everyone else I have fancied and seen but not done anything about.
This wrathful lack of confidence that Lyssa has given to me feels like it has been sown in me so that I will not stray far from her. What stealth Lyssa does show, to plant lack of esteem and failure in all attempts at luring a woman so that she will still be the one I turn to, well not really.
Departing With a Flourish
Forth I shall off and depart with a flourish withal. Let not speak more than should subdue such times of glory. Let it be but a sprinkle of water amongst the brow of life. Let none shed adorned right and wrong what is just. Correct it shall stand, without rendering, without deterrence but with reverence for such a character deposited upon the most glorious, thy mind. And I, as the artisan of art must hither depart and anon I shall come again to rejoice.
