A mini game that wouldn’t finish
The night before, testing Polymatrix before sleep, I found a bug in one of the mini games. In the whack-a-mole mini game, the level couldn’t finish. It couldn’t draw the next bottle. It drew a container, but the timer didn’t restart and all the buttons stopped working.
I got Claude to work on it, but it spent half of my compute testing and couldn’t find the actual bug.
Generic tests found it
This morning I went back to the garage, turned Claude on and continued running tests. This time I told it to run some generic tests in the browser. It took some time, but it found the bug.
I checked on the game a second time, pressed a few more buttons for more coding, uploaded the new Polymatrix AAB file to Google Console, and then went to have a shower.
“That’s a lot of back and forth this morning.”
By the end of the day the Polymatrix app was fixed up.
