August 22, 2026. Afternoon.
A panel of choices
Some people, when they come onto the app, aren’t sure where to start. I get them to type in their personal best, height and weight, then let them loose, but the app has five main tabs and they might think, “I don’t know what to do.”
On their next visit I could open a panel with the options as squares, asking, “What would you like to do today?” Gym session, log your weight, blood pressure, personal best, and so on. It could happen once in a while, not just the first time.
Reminders that notice patterns
Another idea was reminders. If someone’s schedule says they work out Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and Wednesday comes and they don’t log a workout, then the next day a notice could ask, “Did you work out yesterday?”
Or if they did four sessions last week and haven’t done one for two or three days this week, I could remind them. If they have been logging their weight regularly, it could ask, “Have you logged your weight today?” The app should find patterns of regular use and send a notification based on them.
