August 24, 2026. Midday to 5:15 p.m..
Fourteen days, again
I saw that the fourteen days of closed testing had arrived. I quickly checked the Firebase usage statistics to see who’d been coming to the app. At one point I had a peak of ten people. Some days I had zero, some days two or three, and they’re only there for ten seconds or a minute. That’s probably going to cost me another fourteen days.
Notifications
Yesterday I added notifications. It’s got a smart system now. If the previous week you did three gym sessions and this week only one or zero, it notices after seven days and sends a notification. All the notifications I’d described have been added.
I installed notifications into Capacitor as a module, built an AAB file and uploaded it to Google Play Console.
Lowered expectations
I don’t have high hopes for the fitness app getting any legs this time. It might.
