The umpteenth check
This morning I was still waiting for an update. I woke up properly a second time at 1 p.m. and came for the umpteenth time to check whether the BeStreak app was still waiting for approval, and to my surprise, it was approved for production.
I spent about half an hour preparing it to be published live. I created a new version and uploaded it to Google Play Console.
After the button
I sent a message to everyone on Facebook who’d installed the test version, asking them to uninstall it and leave a review.
I checked the store listing and noticed it just said “BeStreak” for the name. I need better keywords to show up in search, so I asked Claude AI for a better title and description and copied that in. It already shows about fifteen installs, which might just be counting the people from closed testing.
A DNS mistake
I tried to change the DNS settings so AdMob could be verified for live ads, but I ran into problems and had to wait twenty four hours. I had accidentally changed the DNS records for the marketing website instead of leaving it alone. Once I saw the mistake, it took half an hour to get the website working again.
How it feels
The time now is 11:15 p.m. I’ve done a lot of work on the BeStreak PB Tracker app tonight. I feel good about myself now. To be honest, these apps could become money spinners. You get the numbers up, get some good ratings and reviews, and then just watch as people use them.
App Features Log: August 28, 2026
