Salad math
I used the nutrition database to put my regular salad together, with all the ingredients and the dressing, and it comes out at about 530 calories. So that’s my benchmark.
Another sweep
I asked Cowork to go through the database again, because it didn’t have any coffees or beverages. I asked for standard menu items from fast food restaurants, different types of coffee, and a few more condiments. Then I gave it a whole month of my diary and asked it to see what I eat and drink and add it. The database is now up to 2,000 meals and 1,050 ingredients.
Where nutrition will live
I’ll probably need to give nutrition its own tab. It’s going to have custom meals, and a way to pick between meals and ingredients. It might need its own self-contained tab in the BeStreak app.
The keyboard bug
I found one or two more closed testers. One of them found an issue: when you try to type something in settings, the keyboard comes up and instantly goes back down. I wondered whether an old version was up in Google Play, but when I tested it, it was doing the same thing on my phone too.
It’s interesting that I didn’t notice that over the last few weeks. That’s mainly because I’ve been doing gym stuff rather than going into settings.
